![]() On the campaign trail, Dubya's strategists had him dwell on friendly themes such as "compassionate conservative", "uniter, not a divider". The marketing idea was to paint him as a moderate. In just his first few months in office, Dubya Inc. is showing itself to be of the same old conservatism. More than half of the voters recognized him for what he is and awareness is growing. courtesy of PS6 |
![]() Exploiting the oil reserves in ANWR would not provide much oil. If exploration and drilling were to begin tomorrow, no useable product would be available for ten years. Environmental damage is a strong possibility. When Dubya says he "thinks it would a mistake not to", that must be in consideration of wealthy fat cats in the oil business who paid into his campaign and have a long time horizon for making a few dollars from ANWR. by GWBush Art |

Clearly more people in Florida intended to vote for Gore. While it might fit with Dubya's twisted version, denying people their voice is not consistent with the true idea of compassion. courtesy of Ajc Chadsux.com |
