William A. Beith, 28, a Baptist school principal, was charged Thursday with kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two days.
Daniel Marshall, the older brother of the girl who had caused the demonic possetion by dressing like a harlot, said Beith began giving private, after-school tutoring lessons to the girl.
Beith was arrested in 1990, and charged with exposing himself to a 15-year old girl. He became principal of Liberty Baptist Academy in Lake Station in 1998 when his father, William S. Beith, resigned after being arrested for soliciting a male undercover police officer for oral sex.
