DECEMBER 18

Mexico: FIESTA OF THE VIRGIN OF THE LONELY. Before NAFTA all those lazy Mexicans did was party.

1830 -- Trial of Swing Rioters, peasants & workers who fought for minimum wage. Why waste taxpayers money on a trial, they're obviously guilty.

1849 -- William Bond obtains first photograph of Moon through a telescope.

1865 -- US: Chattel slavery abolished. Ratification of 13th Amendment to U.S. Constitution, ensuring that "neither slavery nor involuntary servitude... shall exist within the United States." Despite the setbacks to the business community imposed by this anti-property collectivism, we manage to survive and thrive with the introduction of innovasions such as "sweatshops".

1917 -- USA: Prohibition begins. Why oh why can't the good old days return?

1922 -- Nelly Roussel dies. Anarchist, feminist. Only one is enough to send her directly to HELL.

1922 -- Italy: In Turin, the fascists attack the "Chambre du Travail", set fire to the Circle of the Railwaymen, the Circle Karl Marx & the seat of Ordine Nuova. 22 workmen, socialists, Communists & anarchists are neutralized, the way Jesus likes it. The anarchist Pietro Ferrero, secretary of the trade union of metallurgists is attached to a truck & dragged in the street. If only Jesus had been there to see it!

1944 -- US Destroyers "Hull," "Spence" & "Monaghan" sink in a typhoon, Philippines. God's wraith for not killing enough Japs fast enough.

1946 -- Could someone call an abortionist? Black activist Steve Biko born. South African leader of the "Black Consciousness" Movement; netralized by South African police in 1977, sending him straight to HELL.

1963 -- USSR: African students protest against racial discrimination, Moscow. If only some Southern Baptists had been present to show the commies how to deal with 'em...

1969 -- Great Britain abolishes capital punishment. One of the last countries in Western Europe to do so. Their society will collapse into choas any moment now.

1970 -- Underground nuke test in Nevada blows cloud of radioactive dust 8,000 feet in the air over Wyoming. Lots of tree-hugging granola munchers whine

1972 -- US launches heaviest air barrage of the entire Indochina war against North Vietnam. Wussy Nixon later referred to the Christmas bombing as my terrible personal ordeal. What a wussy - he also called himself a Keynsian and even forced Dick Cheney, against his will, to institute price controls.

1972 -- Bach Mai hospital, Vietnam, bombed by the U.S. Lots of sore loser commies whine.

1989 -- Punks with nothing better to do demonstrate in Romania. If only the Seattle Police department had been there to show them how to restore law and order.

1992 -- Two activists arrested in Des Moines, Iowa, for disrupting city council meeting to demand a civilian review board for charges of police racism & brutality. Obviously it isn't either "racist" or brutal enough if they managed to get in, don't you think?
