1960 -- US: 50 die as the aircraft carrier Constellation, under construction at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, is swept by fire. Lots of workers whine.

1965 -- Demonstrations against Vietnam War, worldwide. For some reason, Al Gore was not present. In fact, he mysteriously dissapeared from America during the Vietnam war - was he in Russia working for the KGB?

1968 -- US: Six-time Socialist Party Presidential candidate Norman Thomas dies at 84, going straight to HELL.

1972 -- Collision involving the Sea Star, in the Gulf of Oman, dumping 115,000 gallons of oil into the gulf. Lots of enviro-weenies whine.

1984 -- US: 27 workers at Wilberg Mine die due to speedup disaster, Orangeville, Utah. Maybe they should have gotten off their butts and inherited something.

1994 -- Zapatista rebels in Southeastern Mexico slip through army siege & briefly occupy 38 towns in Chiapas state, crippling Wall Street investments in Mexican bond market.

1998 -- Beloved & Respected Comrade Leader Clinton nearly impeached. Gains the distinction of being the recipient of the most expensive BJ in the history of man. Next mission: impeach Gore. Hopefully this time it will take less than 60,000,000 dollars to find a sex act of some sort.
