TINA MODOTTI
Tina Modotti, was born in Italy (1896), known for her beauty, her involvement with the Mexican Communist Party and her love affair with fellow photographer Edward Weston.
She was often the subject of Weston's photos. In viewing her photographs, there is a certain awareness that the photographer was female. Her work reveals a certain feminity and sensitivity.
