Young Enterprise is an educational charity (No. 313697), which delivers valuable skills to young people. It aims to give participants an exciting, hands-on business experience, through with they will learn to develop their teamwork, commitment, communication, leadership and financial control skills. Achievers will also find that the program helps build self-confidence, awareness and practical abilities which are vital for success in the future.
Over 2,000 UK based
businesses support the Young Enterprise Company Program. They provide the
resources, funds and people which are all needed in order for the program
to run. Each year around 55,000 students take part in the Young Enterprise
scheme, which is valued highly among employers and educational establishments.
Young Enterprise UK is also a member of Young Enterprise Europe and Junior
Achievement International.
