Torturer!

By: Akkiko

Don't trip or fall,

Through the meadows do you hear it?

The owl's lonesome calls.

Scream as you might.

But still you can hear it.

Shiver in fright.

Wither away.

Wish it all to be gone.

Wish it all away.

See the darkness float near.

Whimper a little.

See it draw ever near.

Scream as blood surged your face.

Run as fast as you can.

Run as through your head thoughts race.

Make him go away

You may shout.

Why does he stay?

Linger at the door.

Hear the pounding feet behind.

Wish for wings with which to soar.

He gains on you.

Run, run, and scream!

Your feet stick to the floor as if with glue.

Scream as he stands over nearby.

What will he do this time?

How can you once again lie?

Feel his hands.

Echo the cry.

It sounds throughout the lands.

See him there.

See him walk away.

Do you wonder where?

Another method of torture perhaps?

Another pain inflict?

Will it bring on another memory lapse?

Hear the screams of those inside.

Hear one shout "run, run now!"

Seek another place to hide.

Take shelter by the beehive.

For there he will not go.

He will not look for his daughter, who is only five.
