Friends Of Yesterday
Times been difficult behind me
No one person understands
Touching all the boundaries
Finding a desert grain of sand
Flowing Streams
Not what they seem
Carry away
My friends
Closing the pages
Never open them again
Life begins to grow
Where sadness has been
At times, I remember
Those who are gone
Taken along the way
They were so young
When life was lost
In a past challenge
At Night
Tonight
Once again this mind
Will ponder the creativity
Of thought
Boundless expansion
Endless dreams
Dawn!
Enchantment flickers
And dies
Until the new night arises
Jenny Laurie
We both grew up together
She became such a part of me
Dangling curls, lonely brown eyes
Became such a part of me
Beneath the autumn tree's
Days filled with her smile
A gentle walking in the wind
Love would often find us
Gently walking in the wind
To the meadow in the spring
Memories see her face now
Sometimes she seems so near
Reach out to touch her
She seems so near, at the grave
Beneath the autumn leaves
Of 1863
Smile
When the sun shines
Through the rain
Still the sadness grows
You can smile
Illuminate the shadows
Within the soul
To Lee
Ten years on
I was not ready
Fifteen years on
I began to wonder
Thirty years on
My search began
So I could
In all sincerity
Be your friend
Once again
