| A little about Domonique Dawes!!! |
| Her parents put her in Gymnastics because she had sooo much energy!!! That was a good idea............ She and her coach say she had no technique at first but was good because she could bounce real high. She says she tried to put all her metals on once a total of 140 pounds! WOW! Her neck almost broke because the medals were so heavy! "Her greatest accomplishment to date occurred at the 1994 U.S. National Championships, where Dominique became the first U.S. woman in 25 years to "Sweep The Board" by winning the all-around championship, as well as gold medals in all four individual events." |
