The story of Easter Island is a sad one, the people there used up all of their natural resources to build these, watchful megaliths, called Moai. 3,000 miles of ocean in the extreme South Pacific surrounds this lonely place.
Until recently, their form of writing, Rongo-Rongo, had not been deciphered it looks like
this.

An interesting correlation exists, in that many of their Root words and Vowel sounds, are the same as Sumerian and Egyptian. 'Anakena' is a beach there. Names that I also thought were similar are, 'Ahu Naunu', Ahu Tahai' , 'Ahu Akivi', and 'Ana Kai Tangata'.
