Guangzhou YMCA TOEFL week 7 home page

I have no idea what to do this week. My mind swims in ... mafan - or I am just sha gua. Maybe we can start this week on a light note (moonlight) by talking about (that is, giving a concise 45 to 60 second answer) to a Chinese cultural question I have: Do you think there any sort of significance in the fact that the was a Lunar Eclipse on the last day of Spring festival ? ... or that this day was the 4th of March ? Anyway, the only thing that I know we should do know is practice - and I will give any possible helpful tips that may come to my mind. Well, it might also be helpful to acquire another TOEFL practice book for the speaking section. I saw one at the bookstore near Tiyu but forget the price - but it looked like it had many practice questions. I will look at it again if I get to the bookstore. Pages 485 to 488 of our textbook (Appendix A) contain some useful 'transition expressions' of the sort that we have discussed, along with more examples. The entire 'Appendix A' looks to me as if it could be helpful to some of you. - did we make copies of these pages ?
Here are the practice questions from week 3 that you can practice on you own if you wish. Have paper and pencil ready, please (-; Question One Question Two Question Three
