Presents
“Timebomb”
by Godsmack plays as the camera opens to the set of From The Vaults.
Sitting on top of the desk looking down at some papers is Memphis Pike, GZW’s
resident historian and new play by play commentator for Monday Manslaughter.
The well-built man has his long hair slicked back as the small ponytail hangs
down the back of the GZW staff shirt he has on. The brown khakis he has on are
heavily starched and pressed. Pike looks up as the unseen producers count him
in.
Pike:
Well hello there, wrestling fans. Welcome to Monday Manslaughter but this show
is special as it will spotlight some of the greatest moments and matches ever
broadcast on the GZW’s flagship show over the year 2001. From many of the stars
debut to the bloodiest matches to ever be shown on free television.
Pike:
Now these are some of my personal favorites and I know that many of you might
disagree. What can I say? Just that I work for the GZW staff and you don’t. Up
first we have the debut of a man that I believe came in a revolutionized EWO
and made the GZW the great company it is now. Without the foundation that he
and many of the roster laid in the early days, much of what you see today would
not be in existence. So here we go all the way back to April 16th
2001 live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado at a Monday Massacre.
---Greatest
Debut---
{Pyro kicks off as the lights flicker off and on in strobe
like fashion in the jam-packed arena. The crowd is screaming and shouting while
displaying various signs and posters.}
Fortune: Welcome back wrestling fans to the permanent broadcast team of Monday
Massacre live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. We have an almost
pay-per-view caliber line-up tonight as the EWO is only one week away from its
first ever pay-per-view, Hell and High Water.
Hunt: No doubt about that, Kandi! With what developed last week on Thursday
Thriller, tonight sets to be an explosive event!
Fortune: I'm getting word from the producers that something is going on
backstage! We are getting a cameraman back there as we speak.
Hunt: How come my headset isn't getting those words?
--Backstage--
A huge black stretch Escalade SUV pulls up outside the Pepsi Center near the
production trucks. The Georgia license plates on the front of the SUV read,
"DYNSTY".
The chauffeur quickly runs around to open the door and from the inside of the
SUV steps out a light-skinned medium built man wearing an expensive black
Armani suit with diamond cufflinks. The man's black hair is French braided into
a ponytail that hangs down his back. He has a slight moustache and a long
goatee hanging from his chin.
As the man steps out he stops and looks around allowing for the camera to view
his entire frame. The crowd pops immensely as they recognize who the man is.
Fortune: (voice are just heard) "Ohmigosh! That's..."
Hunt: (voice just heard) "...Tate Troublesome!! "
Tate Troublesome smiles at the camera as he proceeds to walk into arena and
presuming making his way to the ring. He attracts other EWO officials as he
walks through the halls, greeting each one with a smile.
Back at the announcers table
Fortune: What in the world could that man be doing here? Tate Troublesome is
one of the most hated wrestlers in the wrestling business! This could only
spell trouble for the EWO! And that's trouble with a capital T!
Hunt: Ha! If that man is here then EWO is about to explode with energy.I hate
it for all those goody-goody wrestlers like Nathaniel
"Mr.Entertainment" Davis!
"Troublesome" by the late great Tupac Shakur erupts over the public
announce system as the PepsiCenter crowd gives out a huge pop.The EWO-tron
flashes with the words BAD COMPANY GETTIN' OVER.Then it shows scenes of Tate
Troublesome applying Troubleshooter(sharpshooter) to unknown wrestler. The words
"BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE" swirls to the front.
As the song over the PA system hits the chorus "...cause I'm
troublesome",pyros ignites along the rampway as Tate Troublesome walks
onto the entranceway. The crowd pops again, even louder then before.
Fortune: Is it me or have these people no idea what this man is capable of?
Hunt: Can you say playa hater? Hehee!
Tate Troublesome makes it to the steel stairs and walks into the ring.Inside
the ring the man walks around for a moment allowing the crowd to get more
anxious. After several circuits around the ring,Troublesome pulls out microphone
from his pocket and begins to speak.
Tate Troublesome: E-W-O in the PepsiCenter! How are ya livin' ?(crowd gives
cheap pop) Yes,it's Da Rebel For Da Hell Of It,Mr.Bad Company, himself!
Oh,yes,there's gonna be Trouble,Trouble!!
Fortune: This man is so egotistical!
Hunt: Will you hush while we listen to history talking?
Fortune: Can you say,"suck up"?
Tate: I know everyone is wonderin' why the great Tate Troublesome is here in
this federation tonight? Well, wrestlin' fans,it is not that hard to conceive.
When Troublesome goes to a fed it is for one reason and one reason only,to
raise some hell ! (crowd pops again) Everyone knows my career,so there is no
need to rehash it.
Tate: Ya see, about a week or so ago I got a call from Mr.Logan Hernandez about
a business opportunity in his growin' wrestlin' federation, the EWO.Mr.Hernandez
was in desperate need of a fix-it man,a troubleshooter.I thought to myself,self
who better than me,the master of da Troubleshooter,to stride into the EWO and
kick some major ass?! (crowd goes wild at the use of obscene language)So early
today I walked into Mr.Hernandez's office(reaches into his jacket and pulls out
folder papers) and signed this almost lifelong contract.(unfolds papers and
flips a couple of pages) Let's see.Page three,section thirteen C,paragraph
two.(reads from paper) " Aforementioned the above stated as Logan
Hernandez of Extreme World Order Entertainment, chief executive officer and
president, signs into contractual agreement with the above
aforementioned,GroundZero Enterprises and their client Tate Edmonson,as
stockholder in Extreme World Order Entertainment, which allows a seat on the board
of trustees, and effective immediately, the office of..."
Hunt: What in the world is Troublesome talking about?
Fortune: It's obvious,Alex! Tate Troublesome is the new...
Tate: ...Vice-President and Director of Operations of Wrestling Affairs."
The crowd explodes in cheers as Tate reveals his new appointment.Chants of
"EWO" spread throughout the audience.
Tate: (folds contract back up and places it back into his coat pocket) As my
first official act as DOWA and Vice-Prez,I want to let everyone know that I'm
here to make changes.Like the new commish,Danny Allison, stated last Monday,we
are about to change the game. The Dynasty of Danny Allison and Tate Edmonson in
the EWO will do nothin' but Change The Game!
Tate: The first way to change the game is this way. There is someone on the
roster here that deserves the recognition of the EWO.That wrestler has become
the torchbearer for the EWO.This man has and will burden the weight to carry
the banner of this federation into the next ten years. He will protect the
organization from threats within and without.
Fortune: Who in the world could he be talking about?
Hunt: Come on,Kandi ! I heard that one of his old stablemates just recently
signed to the fed! It has to be him!
Tate: This man IS the EWO! I would like to announce to you the Extreme World
Order franchise player, Nathaniel "Mr.Entertainment" Davis!!
The crowd goes wild at the announcement of Nathaniel Davis and there
anticipation of seeing him since his injuries occurred several weeks ago by the
hands of Sincere and SuisYde.
Tate: Now "Mr.Entertainment" is not here tonight due to his recovery
from his injuries several weeks ago,but rest be assured EWO fans that I have
been in contact with our franchise and he is thrilled and honored by the new
title. He promises that soon as the doctors give him permission to get back to
wrestlin',that he plans to end this feud once and for all with the Jade Dragon,
Sincere.
The crowd gives out boos at the mention of Sincere's name, displaying there
hate for EWO's number one heel. Tate Troublesome smiles with satisfaction.
Hunt: I can't believe this! Tate Troublesome has sold his soul to the corporate
world! And he is siding with that goody two-shoes Nathaniel Davis! Is there no
justice in the world?
Fortune: (smiling) That's Vice-President Tate Troublesome! Matter of fact, it's
Vice-President Tate Edmonson now!
Hunt: Can YOU say, "suck up"?
"Safri Dou" plays over the arena speakers as a White male wearing a
black t-shirt which states on the front "BAD COMPANY GETTIN' OVER"
tucked into his blue jeans runs down the rampway and enters the ring. The man
gets directly into the new Vice-President's face and begins ranting. Tate
lowers the microphone so that the argument is not heard.
Fortune: That is Mr.Edmonson's old running mate, Pimp Bizkit! I wonder what is
being said?
Hunt: You can beat that it has nothing to do with the stock market! Hehee!
Tate gets the fueled up Pimp Bizkit to settle down and places his arm over his
shoulder as they both exit the ring. The crowd cheers as both men make their
way up the rampway. At the entranceway, Tate Edmonson turns back to the crowd
and waves.
Hunt: First no Santa Claus, now this! All my dreams shattered in an instant!
---Back on the set---
The camera comes back to Pike looking in a handheld mirror examining his hair. He can be overheard asking whether he should let his bangs grow or not. Once he realizes he is back on the air he quickly hides the mirror behind his back.
Pike:
The following match is amongst one of the oddest and bloodiest matches we have
had in the history of this company. What in the world was then Vice President
Tate Edmonson and Commissioner Danny Allison thinking by teaming four bitter
enemies together as tag team partners. EZ Money and Magic were deeply heated in
a bitter feud for the LightHeavyweight Championship which Magic was the current
holder of while Eddie Henchman was torturing Little Show every chance he got.
Pike:
But that wasn’t the odd part, not by a longshot. No this match was the first
ever and only, so far, tag team cage match with glass panes! Talk about not
throwing rocks at a glass house! This match took place in the city that would
eventually be called home to the GZW. On the 14th of May on Monday
Massacre live from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia the fight for the
chance to be LightHeavyweight Champion was on the line!
Pike
begins to walk away when he seems to remember something. He cocks his eye while
looking at the camera.
Pike:
Also if you pay attention this match is the debut of a man who has made a
tremendous impact in the GZW. All I can say is that if we had only knew then
that “The Future” was amongst us!
---Bloodiest
Match (Greatest Debut)---
----Tag Team Cage
with Glass Pane Match: EZ Money and Magic vs Little Show and Eddie Henchman---
Hunt: Next up is a weird one by all standards of the game!
Fortune: Well, the VP and the Commissioner known as the Dynasty are
"Changing the Game"! In the ring we will see four men,by all
accounts, who totally despise each other. Add to the fact that of the four, one
is the Lightheavyweight Champion and the other three are grabbing for his
title! Plus, each man has to get along with his partner in order to win this
match. Winning this match will allow the team to fight each other for the number
one contendership to the LightHeavyweight Championship held by Magic!
Hunt: Wow! If Little Show and Henchman win, they will fight each other for the
number one spot. If EZ Money and Magic win, EZ will automatically be the number
one contender! That Tate Edmonson might not be as dumb as I thought! Hehee!
Fortune: Trust me, Alex, you have the market cornered when it comes to dumb!
The cage is set up and the glass panes are in! It's time for what could be the
most insane match I have ever heard of!
Morris: A cold steel cage with glass panes! This is one home remodeling idea
that you will not see Martha Stewart talk about!
Explosions erupt from the entranceway as EZ Money and Magic, along with his
wife, Crystal, step from the back. Both men cautiously watch each other as they
walk down the aisle. As the two men near the center of the rampway the two eye
the imposing steel and glass structure.
The explosions happen again and Little Show steps onto the entranceway. Show
looks back to see where his partner, Eddie Henchman is. Henchman soon walks out
and pushes Little Show, pointing to the ring. The two run to the ring. Money
and Magic meet Show and Henchman in the aisle as the two teams slug it out.
Show and Magic are going at it while Henchman and Money trade shots.
Fortune: This one is starting off in a hurry!
Show and Magic both get into the ring, still trading punches. Meanwhile Money
slams Henchman's face into the steel guardrail. Money also grabs a steel chair
from the crowd and blasts Henchman in the face with it.
Fortune: What a shot!
Money quickly gets into the ring and they go to work on Show in the cage.
Crystal goes to the door and puts a lock on it.
Fortune: Wait! How is Henchman supposed to get in?
Hunt: Boy, EZ Money and Magic sure got their game plan down!
With Eddie Henchman laying on the floor, Magic and Money beat down Show in the
ring. The two whip Show into the steel cage. The glass panes on the side of the
cage breaks, cutting Show's back. The two then lift up Show and drop him with a
double suplex.
Fortune: EZ Money and Magic are actually working together!
Hunt: Two losers can't accomplish that much!
Meanwhile, Eddie Henchman watches from the outside of the cage.
Fortune: Henchman is making no attempt to get into the cage to help out Little
Show!
Money lifts up Show and nails him with pinpoint martial arts kicks. Magic
meanwhile goes to Henchman, taunting him. Money lifts up Show and nails him
with a multiple backbreaker into a sideslam combo. Henchman is still just
watching.
Fortune: This is a massacre in the ring!
Hunt: Well that is the name of the show!
Money and Magic lift Show to his knees. Money and Magic take turns punching
Show in the face. The two then slam Show face first into the glass panes. Show
is covered in his own blood.
Fortune: This is really getting out of hand!
Finally Henchman decides to take action. He starts to punch out the glass panes
and starts to climb up the cage. He gets to the top of the cage. He starts
kicking in the glass panes on the roof, showering the ring with broken glass.
Fortune: This is insane!!
As Money and Magic are being showered with broken glass, Show gets to his feet.
Show with a mafia kick takes out Magic. Show then takes down Money with a kick
to the midsection followed by a belly to belly suplex.
Fortune: Wait! What is Henchman doing?
With the glass kicked out of the roof, Henchman opens one of the panels on the
roof. Show lays Magic on the middle of the mat. Henchman drops from the roof of
the cage down onto Magic with an elbow drop in the middle of the mat.
Hunt: Holy Jazmin Andrea!!
Magic and Henchman lay on the mat, both men not moving. Show lifts Money to his
feet and nails several muay thai kicks. Show then grabs Money's face and slams
it into the glass panes.
Hunt: This is crazy! This is great!
As Show continues to slam Money's face, a huge monster of a man, dressed in
nothing but black and wearing a black mask, comes down to the ring. He rips the
door off of the cage.
Fortune: Whoa! Did you see that?
Hunt: He would be one handy guy to have around to open jars!
The man gets in the ring and grabs Show by the throat and delivers a massive
chokeslam on Show. Henchman gets to his feet and down he goes as the man levels
him with a massive boot.
Fortune: This guy...he is a monster!!
Hunt: He is wicked!!
The man lifts Show up and drives him down to the mat with a wicked powerbomb.
Magic goes to make the cover as EZ Money looks on in astonishment. Ref Fey
begins to count.
1…2...
Fortune: Three! EZ Money and Magic win it!
Hunt: EZ Money is the number one contender to that boring Magic's title!
Money leaves out the steel cage, shaking his head in disgust, as Magic stands
over Henchman and Little Show. The mysterious man stands behind Magic, arms
crossed over his massive chest.
---Commercial Break---
---Back on the set---
Pike is sitting behind the desk now biting eating a chocolate covered donut and sipping on some coffee. Someone off camera tells him he is on the air and he throws the donut offstage. A loud “what the hell” is heard as Pike shrugs his shoulders.
Pike:
Well we are back. Was not that last match the most bizarre match ever
witnessed? The next match comes from the Birmingham Civic Center in Birmingham,
Alabama which took place on the 21st of May’s Monday Massacre. This
was to be the first title defense of the newly crowned Heavyweight Champion,
T-Rex. The Enforcer won the title in grand fashion at the first Contest of
Champions where he outlasted nearly twenty other men.
Pike:
But due to an oversight, Sho Murakame was never eliminated from the ring and
thus setting up this match. Toward the end of the match Sincere makes his
presence felt in the Heavyweight division which many felt has led to the
longest running most bitter feud in the GZW!
---Greatest
Main Events (Greatest Classic Feuds)---
---Main Event:
Heavyweight Title Match: Firefly vs. T-Rex---
Fortune: Our next match is the main event which pits the
EWO Heavyweight Champion, T-Rex against the Fairplay Enforcer, Sho “Firefly”
Murakame!
Hunt: Fairplay in the EWO. Hmm? Sounds like an oxymoron to me, Kandi!
Fortune: Yeah, I’ll have to agree with you on that one, Alex!
Hunt: How can Firefly preach about fairplay when his own mother carries a brick
in her purse which she has no qualms about using?
Four guitar riffs blast over the PA system as a ring of fire lights up on the
ring entranceway. The crowd cheer, and "Haunting Me" by Stabbing
Westwards kicks in, and Firefly slowly ascends up through the ring of fire as
the heavy guitar riff plays, with his head held up high and his trademark
firesticks across his chest in a cross. When the pneumatic lift has stopped,
Firefly thrusts his flamesticks high in the air at the same time as the verse
kicks in, prompting a loud cheer from the crowd. A short martial arts display
follows, with the firesticks spinning around with lightening quickness (think
Steve Blackman with sticks on fire).
Herbert Torres: Weighing 230 lbs and standing 6 ft tall he hails from Hong
Kong... "The Firefly" Sho Murakame."
He walks to the ring with both sticks in his right hand held high in a cross,
as he does so, runs his hand along the crowd for low fives. When he reaches the
ring, he ascends a turnbuckle as the lights go down. From there, he blows a
flammable liquid into the flames and blows a huge ball of flame into the air.
Putting out his firesticks, he backflips into the ring with a grin.
Mrs.Murakame walks down behind her son, bulging purse in her hand. She takes a
seat along ringside as the fans cheer for the newest EWO cameraperson.
Fortune: With the Murakames looking out, people had better follow the rules of
the EWO!
Hunt: (in a mocking voice) Follow the rules, follow the rules. Listen to you!
You sound like such a little nerd!
”Break Stuff” by Limp Bizkit pumps as the EWO Heavyweight Champion makes his
way to the ring as the fans erupt in a mixture of cheers and boos. T-Rex and
his wife/valet, Angel stroll down the rampway. T-Rex steps over the top rope
with the Heavyweight belt draped over his shoulder. Angel stands at ringside
cheering her husband.
Fortune: Tonight we finally get to see the newly crowned Heavyweight Champion
defend his title for the first time!
Hunt: Is it me or has T-Rex grown bigger than Forsaken?
Both men move in and shake hands as Senior Referee Richard Dark begins the
match. FF with a couple of kneelifts to the midsection of Rex helps the
challenger gain the upper hand early in the match. FF with a couple of knife
edge chops followed by an irish whip. Rex bounces off the ropes. FF charges at
him and levels him with a vicious clothesline.
Fortune: That nearly beheaded him!
FF lifts up Rex and snapmares him over, then applying a rear chinlock.
Hunt: I was thinking. How can Firefly preach about fairplay when he was once a
member of the most notorious stables in wrestling history?
Rex fights to get up to his feet. A few back elbows by Rex breaks the chinlock
by FF. Rex runs and bounces off the ropes for momentum, but FF quickly counters
a charging Rex and slaps on a sleeper hold.
Fortune: Sleeper hold by Firefly! But luckily, Rex makes it to the ropes for a
rope break!
Hunt: Luckily? Playing favorites again, eh Kandi?
rex slowly pulls himself up using the ropes. Irish whip by FF. FF drops his
head going for a back body drop. Rex bounces off the ropes, puts on the brakes
and kicks FF in the chest, stunning him. FF clutches his chest. Rex levels him
with a clothesline.
Rex lifts up FF to his feet, hammering him with right hands. Irish whip by Rex.
FF bounces off the ropes and ducks a back elbow. FF bounces off the far ropes.
Rex takes his opponent down with a powerslam.
Fortune: What a slam by T-Rex!
FF is lifted to his feet. Rex hammers away with punches in the corner. Rex
whips FF into the opposite corner. T-Rex then charges in and nails a
clothesline in the corner. FF drops to the mat.
Fortune: Listen to these fans! They are actually behind T-Rex!
Angel looks on as her husband lifts FF up for a vertical suplex. But FF floats
over and lands behind Rex. FF drops Rex with a vicious belly to back suplex.
Hunt: Sweet counter by Firefly! Plus a hell of a show of strength!
FF, with Rex on the mat, drops a couple of elbows to the chest. FF lifts up his
opponent and executes a crisp snap suplex.
Hunt: Another thing I was thinking about, Kandi. All of Bad Company is in the
EWO except Union Jack!
Fortune: And your point, Alex?
Hunt: Just an observation.
FF lifts up Rex and lands a few kicks to the midsection. Irish whip by FF,
reversed by Rex. FF comes off the ropes. Rex with an overhead belly to belly
suplex, catching FF and sending him down to the mat. FF slowly gets up to his
feet. FF charges and clotheslines him out of the ring.
As FF slowly gets up, Rex climbs up to the top turnbuckle. He walks the top
rope to the middle of the rope.
Fortune: His agility is incredible for a big man!
As FF is on his feet on the floor, Rex stands on the middle of the top rope,
balancing himself. He leaps off with a diving clothesline to the floor,
leveling FF.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!
The fans cheer the great show of athleticism by T-Rex. He gets up to the cheers
of the fans. Rex lifts up FF and lands several stiff right hands. Rex goes for
an Irish whip, but FF reverses, sending Rex into the steel steps.
Fortune: Ouch! What a sickening sound as Rex collides with the steel steps!
FF slowly walks over to the fallen Rex. FF hovers above the champ, checking on
his degree of hurt. Seeing that Rex is all right, FF slides into the ring. Rex
slides into the ring as well and FF quickly lifts him to his feet. FF quickly
drops Rex back down with a DDT.
Fortune: Ohmigosh! He may have cracked open his head!
As Angel boos, FF makes the cover. Richard Dark with the count.
1...2...
Fortune: No! The Champ kicks out! T-Rex kicks out! How did he kick out of that?
FF cannot believe it. He gets up, shaking his head. FF lifts up Rex, chopping
away at his chest. Irish whip by FF. Rex comes off the ropes. FF with a scoop,
but Rex floats over and behind. Rex with a rear waistlock. FF with a back elbow
and a standing switch. FF hooks Rex from behind and drops him with a German
suplex with a bridge. The pin.
1…2…
Fortune: T-Rex kicks out again!
Hunt: Will he ever stay down?!?
FF lifts up Rex again. FF with a few forearm shivers to the head. Irish whip by
FF. Reversal by Rex. FF bounces off the ropes, ducks a clothesline by Rex.
FF bounces off the far ropes. Rex catches FF and slams him down with a
spinebuster. Both men slowly get up, Rex being slightly faster. Rex with a kick
to the midsection followed up by a jumping DDT. The cover by Rex.
1…2…
Fortune: No! Firefly kicks out! What a match! Wait! It's Forever! What is she
doing here?
The wife of Sincere slowly makes her way down to the ring. Forever circles the
ring, watching the matchup.
Fortune: What is she up to? I bet she's up to no good!
Hunt: Such a pessimist!
Rex lifts up FF and goes for an Irish whip. Reversed by FF. Rex bounces off the
ropes. FF turns around. Rex with a kick to the midsection, then he lifts up FF
high over his head and then drops him with the...
Fortune: Extinction! ("Last Ride" High impact powerbomb) This should
do it!
Rex makes the cover, but Senior Ref Dark is not there to make the count!
Forever is on the apron, distracting the referee. The fans boo heavily. Angel
and Mrs.Murakame rush to pull Forever off the apron. Rex pounds his hand on the
mat, as if he were counting the pinfall.
Fortune: Look! It's the Jade Dragon, Sincere!
Sincere comes running down the rampway. He sneaks up behind Mrs.Murakame and
pulls her from behind, sending her crashing to the floor.
Fortune: You can't do that to Firefly’s mom!
Hunt: Well you know what? He just did!
Sincere takes the brick out of Murakame’s purse and slides into the ring.
Richard Dark is still distracted by Forever and Angel on the apron. Rex gets up
to face Sincere, but Sincere takes the brick and hits Rex in the face.
Fortune: What utter heinousness!
Rex falls down to the mat out cold. Sincere rolls FF on top of Rex and then
slides out of the ring, his work done. Forever slaps Angel and then hops off of
the apron. The ref turns around to check on the legal wrestlers in the match.
Fortune: T-Rex is out cold, Firefly is covering him, all thanks to Sincere!
Hunt: No! It was Mrs.Murakame's brick that did it! Sincere, professor of
psychological warfare and mastermind of mindgames!
Seeing the cover, Ref Dark makes the count.
1…2…
Fortune: Three!! Firefly wins it! What a travesty! We have a new EWO
Heavyweight Champion!
The fans boo as a semi-conscious Firefly has his hand raised. Forever and
Sincere smile as they look on from the entranceway as their handiwork has paid
off.
Fortune: Look at that Sincere! He'll get his!
---Back on the set---
Pike: Sho Murakame was crowned the third ever GZW Heavyweight Champion after that match. Following his tainted victory, the Fairplay Enforcer relinquished the title back to the Executive Committee and a rematch was soon scheduled. It was at that match that T-Rex solidified his position as a GZW legend by becoming the only two time Heavyweight Champion.
Pike: Next up is the debut of a man that was doomed to
harassment from nearly ever wrestler on the active roster. Starting his GZW
career as a lowly cameraman for “Smooth Operator” Billy Bond, he rose to become
the most active cameraman in GZW history. No matter where or how far if there
was an interview to be taped, he was there. It wasn’t until Chump pilfered the
LightHeavyweight Championship from Magic did he gain any recognition. Check out
this Thursday Thriller from the 14th of June to see what I’m talking
about.
---Greatest
Debuts---
Suddenly, there is a huge strum of a guitar note over the
PA system. “The Right Decision” by Jesus Jones blasts over the sound system.
It’s a strange mix of early nineties indie and raw, early dance music.
“When they say ignorance is bliss
“Makes it sound to good to miss.
“How about that?
“How about that?”
“And the problem with success,
“Is you become what you detest.
“How about that?
“How about that?
‘Smooth Operator’ Billy Bond struts out of the back onto the entranceway
wearing, as usual, an expensive tuxedo. Right behind him, in the same garb, is
the cameraman only known to the public as ‘Chump’. The original crowd pop for
Smooth gets even larger when the crowd see Chump dressed like him.
The two smartly dressed men walk side by side down the aisle, running their
hands across the outstretched hands of the crowd.
“So, who to believe,
“And who do you trust?
“Well it may as be you!
“’Cos it seems that no-one else,
“Is gonna do!”
They reach the ring, and Smooth opens up the ropes to let in Chump, and then
follows. He requests a mike, which is thrown to him. He stands there, waiting
for the music to hit chorus before he speaks.
“Get it wrong,
“Get it right,
“You can try as hard as you like,
“But there’s no such thing in the world,
“As the right decision!”
Smooth signals for the music to be cut, and it is faded out.
Smooth:
“Well hello EWO fans!”
There is a cheap pop.
Smooth:
“It’s no secret that the Smooth One had a pretty lousy PPV last Sunday!”
The crowd cheap pop again.
Smooth:
“But the mood is about to change. There’s no such thing in the world as the
right decision, but there is a wrong one! EZ Money… you made the wrong one.
With your decision to disband ESP and concuss Billy Bond, you earned yourself
the wrath of the Smooth Operator. You also made the Smooth One hit an epiphany.
Who was at the Smooth One’s bedside? Who looked after the Smooth One whilst he
was concussed? Who drove the Smooth One home? Who is now the Smooth One’s new
team mate?”
Smooth points at Chump.
Smooth:
“This man here! After you smashed me across the head with the fake
light-heavyweight title belt, I realised that this man is not a chump EZ, you
are! This man is my new associate in the EWO! Ladies and gentlemen, I present
to you ‘TAFKAC’ Basildon Bond!”
The crowd cheap pop upon this announcement, and Basildon raises his hands to
acknowledge the crowd.
Smooth:
“And while we’re here, I’d like to congratulate Basildon on his recently
acquired title belt! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the NEW EWO
light-heavyweight title holder: ‘TAFKAC’ Basildon Bond!”
Basildon opens up the jacket of his tux to reveal the original EWO
light-heavyweight title belt! He pulls it off and holds it up in the air.
Smooth passes Basildon the mike.
Basildon:
“That’s right Smooth. In American law, possession is nine tenths of the law,
and look what I got in my possession! The REAL light-heavyweight title belt!
The ORIGINAL light-heavyweight title belt! So by American law, I AM the EWO
light-heavyweight title-holder, and EZ Money? Well, he’s a chump with a fools
gold and rhinestone trinket around his waist!”
Smooth takes back the mike.
Smooth:
“So EZ, you gotta win back your little man title from the other member of the
Smooth Operators, and believe me, it ain’t gonna be easy! You want to prove
you’re a worthy light-heavyweight champion? Well come and get the belt!”
There is a brief pause, but no one comes out.
Smooth:
“Well EZ, when you are man enough to come out and get the hell kicked out by
TAFKAC… with me Bas!
Smooth and Basildon:
“It’s gonna be Smooth!”
“The Right Decision” kicks in again, and Smooth and Basildon leave the ring and
head to the back.
Snake: well looks like Chump is now “TAFKAC” Basildon Bond!
Gomez: and he is claiming to be the EWO lightheavyweight champion because he
has the title
Snake: What the hell did he ever do to deserve this he even got his ass whooped
by an old woman Mrs Murakame
Gomez: true but possesion is nine tenths of the law, so EZ is going to have to
come and get his title back form chump I mean Basildon
Snake: That is thiefery damit! I guess we know who stole the title from Magic
but EZ is the rightful owner he is the one who won it fair and square!
Gomez: Well he’ll have to answer “TAFKAC’s” challenge then
---On the set---
Pike no longer is wearing his GZW staff shirt but has switched to an old Forsaken t-shirt which has T-Rex, Magic, Darkside, and Defiant posed on it.
Pike:
If any of you fans still have this shirt, save it because it is worth a lot of
money. Of course this segways into the next match. On the 30th of
April at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday Massacre, Pimp
Bizkit, who at that time called himself “The MidCard Killer”, began a feud with
T-Rex who was not quite yet anywhere close to being the legend he is now.
---Greatest
Classic Feuds---
---T-Rex vs. Pimp Bizkit---
Fortune:
The Punisher is definitely one to keep an eye on! What a brilliant display of
wrestling skill by this young man!
Hunt: I've seen better! Speaking of better, up next we got big pimping,
himself, "The MidCard Killer" Pimp Bizkit ! Kandi, the afterparty
held by Pimp Bizkit and "Smooth Operator" Billy Bonds last Sunday
night following Hell and High Water was totally off the chains!!
Fortune: "Off the chains", Alex? I see you've been listening to some
more hip-hop on the down low again!
Hunt: Hey! I'm hip I'm cool!
Fortune: Right, Alex, right! It's hip to be square! It seems that we have a
live feed from backstage with "The MidCard Killer" Pimp Bizkit!
The EWO-tron springs to life and it shows Pimp Bizkit in the backstage area, in
a hallway.
Pimp: Well for the past few days it seems that we have some dinosaur wannabe
who calls himself T Rex mouthing off about how he's not scared off me, and how
he enjoys the company of his buddies Forsaken. Well by know I think that we all
know hes an old man
.
(Blown up photo of an old man who looks exactly like T Rex is shown on the
EWO-tron)
Pimp: its about time for you to get Played-A-Live.
T-Rex, just seeing the Pimp's impromptu segment, runs out of his locker room,
down the hall, which at the end behind a corner is Pimp Bizkit.
Hunt: That idiot T-Rex is going to run right into Pimp Bizkit's trap! I told
you these Forsaken guys were dumb as hell !
Fortune: Well, in one of Pimp's promos this past week, he made some rather
unsavory remarks about T-Rex's wife, Angel ! T-Rex is really out to destroy
Pimp tonight!
As T-Rex rounds the corner, Pimp clothesline the Forsaken member to the floor. Lifting
him up, Pimp slings him into toward the curtains of the entranceway. Pimp
charges as T-Rex braces for him.
Fortune: Seems like the match has begun already backstage!
Both men are slugging it out as they move down the aisle toward the ring. Pimp
knees Rex into the gut and throws him into the ring and follows behind him.
With Rex down, Pimp goes to make a quick cover, but T-Rex kicks out. Pimp lifts
Rex up and hammers him with right hands. Irish whip by Pimp and he catches
T-Rex coming off the ropes and drops him with a tiltawhirl backbreaker. Pimp
continues the offense by lifting up Rex and slamming him down with a belly to
belly suplex. With T-Rex on the mat, Pimp climbs up to the top turnbuckle.
Pimp takes flight and connects with a top rope elbow drop. The "MidCard
Killer" makes the cover.
Fortune: This could be a quick win for Pimp Bizkit!
1...2...
Fortune: No! T-Rex just does get a shoulder up before referee Donald Fey gets
to three!
Pimp lifts up T-Rex and tosses him into the corner and follows up with kicks in
the corner.
Hunt: Stomp a mudhole in him, Pimp!
Pimp then whips Rex into the opposite corner. Pimp charges in and nails a
clothesline in the corner. Pimp calls for another as he whips T-Rex to the
opposite corner across the ring. Pimp charges in, but Rex gets a boot up that
catches Pimp in the face. With Pimp turned around and stunned, T-Rex hooks
Pimp's head from behind, turns to face the corner and then runs up the ropes,
bounces off them and drops Pimp on his face with a swinging bulldog (similar to
Spike Dudley's acid drop, but a bulldog).
Fortune: What agility by the big man, T-Rex!
Hunt: Zzzz!!
Both men are slow to get to their feet. Pimp with a kick to the midsection
followed with a double arm DDT, driving Rex face first into the mat. The cover
by Pimp.
1...2...
Fortune: No! T-Rex kicks out!
Pimp lifts up Rex. Irish whip by Pimp, reversal by T-Rex into a short knee to
the midsection. Rex hooks Pimp's waist and lifts him in the air for a
powerbomb, but Pimp slips out in midair and in one fluid motion, hooks Rex's
head and comes down with a DDT.
Fortune: What a counter by Pimp Bizkit!
Hunt: Not only is he the man with the ladies, but he can easily manhandle any
Forsaken chump!
With T-Rex motionless on the mat, Pimp climbs to the top turnbuckle. With the
crowd on it's feet, Pimp takes flight and nails a massive legdrop across the
neck of T-Rex. The cover by Pimp and the count by Donald Fey.
1...2...
Fortune: Three! Another win for Pimp Bizkit!
Hunt: Yeah, another victim falls to the "MidCard Killer" and a loss
for the Forsaken! Heehee!! I love to see those idiots lose!
---Commercial Break---
Pike:
This next matchup is not for the weak at heart. Just find Alex Hunt and ask
him. I don’t care who you talk to but this match has to be the number one
bloodiest matches in GZW history. Two men known for their extreme ways took it
all out on one another in a No DQ match for the Extreme Championship. I even
heard that the Board of Health, the FCC, and a host of other officials in and
around Birmingham, Alabama had a major fit on the 21st of May. The
Birmingham Civic Center has never seen anything quite like this match since.
---Bloodiest
Match---
---Extreme Title Match: No
Disqualification Match: Big Country vs. Cravin Morehead---
Hunt: Did you hear that? Bentley paid that lunatic to take
out Dameon!
Fortune: I guess Weston wasted his money! We have just got word that this next
match has just been made into a no disqualifaction. This is set to be a
bloodbath for the Extreme Title!
Hunt: That’s definitely true Kandi, except it will be Big Country doing all the
bleeding; he doesn’t stand a chance against "The Last Man" Cravin
Morehead!
Fortune: A quick side note for you EWO fans. Earlier today, VP Edmonson
returned the EWO Extreme title belt back to its rightful owner.
Hunt: So Lucifer no longer has the belt? Damn!
"Gangsta Party" by Tupac Shakur kicks in as Big Country makes his
entrance to a decent pop from the crowd. Country has a look of hated
determination on his face, as he is carrying a wooden baseball bat in one hand,
and a thick chain in his other. He walks to the ring without looking at anyone
in the crowd.
Fortune: Big Country isn’t trying to hide his intentions tonight. This is going
to be an ugly fight!
Hunt: Countrytime is going to need more than a bat and a chain to beat down
Cravin Morehead!
At the entranceway, a fog starts to gather. After a few moments, the fog
becomes very thick resembling a cloud at the top of the ramp. Out of nowhere
two lightning bolts are produced simultaneously striking the cloud, setting off
a huge pyrotechnic explosion within the cloud, and "SIC" from
Slipknot fills the arena. Through the cloud walks out Cravin Morehead with the
newly received Extreme title draped over his shoulder. The crowd begins
chanting, "LAST MAN,LAST MAN".
Hunt: What a GREAT entrance!!
Fortune: Is all that really necessary?
Hunt: Of course, Kandi, Morehead’s got connections around here, now that he is
a champion.
Fortune: Don’t tell me you helped set all this up?
Hunt: I’ve got my pull here too. Live with it!
Morehead stands at the entrance for a moment, taking in all the cheers from the
crowd. He appears to enjoy it immensely as a smile cracks on his face. He
begins to walk to the ring. Country, who stands in the center of the ring
waiting for Morehead, remains focused on his arriving opponent. Morehead gets
near the ring and his smile fades as he stares at Country. Morehead puts his
hands up showing he has no weapons, motioning to Country to drop his.
Hunt: Yeah! Make this a fair fight!
Fortune: With The Forsaken sitting backstage, Morehead may need a few weapons!
Country keeps his weapons and Morehead goes for a chair. Chair in hand,
Morehead starts to climb into the ring. Country waits for Morehead to get fully
into the ring. Cravin gets in and Ref Donald Fey signals for the bell, a sound
that seems to set Country off as he charges at Morehead. He swings the bat.
CLANG as it hits the chair Morehead is using for a shield. CLANK as the heavy chain
strikes the chair. CLANG CLANK CLANG CLANK!
Fortune: Big Country with a fury of attacks with those weapons!
Hunt: And The Last Man blocks every one!
CLANK, Morehead blocks the chain with the chair, and as Country swings the bat,
Morehead grabs it with his hand, and sends it right back into Country's
forehead, sending him backwards in pain and dropping the chain. Morehead drops
the battered and dented chair and head towards Country with the bat. Morehead
strikes Country in the back a few times with the hard wooden bat, causing a few
screams from Country.
Fortune: Ohmigosh! Cravin Morehead is viciously working on Big Country’s back!
Hunt: Who brought the bat? Big Country is a moron!
Morehead gets Country to his feet. Cravin sends the handle of the bat into
Country's sternum, hunching him over as he tries to regain his breath. Morehead
grabs the ends of the bat with each hand, and crashes the middle of the bat
onto the back of Country’s neck. Morehead rolls Country over and covers.
Hunt: Morehead gonna take this one early!!!
Donald Fey with the count.
1…2…
Fortune: Big Country pulls through! What a show of will from Big Country!
Hunt: I think it was just a muscle twitch.
Morehead with a look of surprise on his face starts to get Country to his feet,
keeping him hunched over and places his head between his legs. Morehead lifts
Country into a powerbomb position and starts to run for a running powerbomb.
Country reverses into a perfectly executed hurricanranna.
Fortune: Big Country with an awesome reversal on the big guy!
Hunt: It was all right.
Country remains on the mat after the extraordinary move as Morehead slowly gets
to his feet. Morehead comes to and runs at Country and drops with a falling
elbow, but Country rolls out of the way, leaps up, and then hits Morehead with
his own twisting elbow drop.
Fortune: What agility from Big Country!
Country covers Morehead with a mount position and begins to wail away at him
with fists and elbows to the head. After a few strikes, Morehead grabs Country
and throws him off. Country regains his balance just as Morehead gets wobbly to
his feet. Country lunges at Morehead with a superkick but Morehead grabs the
leg, pulls Country to him, and levels the challenger easily with a cradle
suplex.
Cravin wastes no time as he grabs Country's hair and lifts him up, off his
feet. As Country dangles in the air, Morehead jumps up, hits Country with a
headbutt right on the bridge of his nose, and comes down with a Lou Thesz pin.
1…
2…
Hunt: NO! Big Country kicked out!
Morehead gets off Country and then picks up the beat up chair. Country gets to
his feet and uses the ropes for support. Morehead charges at Country and swings
the chair directly at his head. Country ducks it, pulls the rope down, and
Morehead falls hard to the outside. As Morehead gets to his feet, Country in
one fluid motion picks up the chain on the mat on his way to the ropes, bounces
back while wrapping the chain in his hand, dives over the tope rope, and
clobbers Morehead with a diving chain-wrapped fist right to Morehead’s
forehead, knocking the champ into the guard rail.
Fortune: What a vicious shot! Cravin has been cut open!
Hunt: Just a scratch!
Blood starts to form on the top of Morehead’s forehead, and quickly rolls down
his face. Country gets to his feet from the high-risk maneuver that took some
out of him. Morehead puts a hand on his face and takes notice of the blood.
With that sight, Morehead becomes infuriated and bolts to his feet. Country
turns to see an enraged bloodied Morehead and is shocked by the sight. Cravin
charges at the stunned Country and tackles him with a spear that knocks
Country’s head crashing hard into the lightly padded concrete floor. Morehead
grabs Country around his waist and lifts him easily and slams him down right on
his back. Cravin kicks Country in the face numerous times, gets the man to his
feet, and then nearly takes off his head with a devastating lunging lariat.
Morehead doesn’t stop there as he covers Country in a mount position and begins
to head butt him numerously, covering Country’s face with the blood now gushing
from his forehead.
Hunt: Big Country has just pissed Cravin off, now he pays!
Fortune: What a sick series of moves from the enraged Morehead!
After a few more headache causing headbutts from Morehead, Country gets a shot
in with his chain-wrapped fist right on the side of Morehead’s head, knocking
the champ off the mount. Morehead holds the side of his head as Country
stumbles to his feet. Country loosens the chain around his hand and grips one
end. Country goes over to Morehead and begins to chain-whip the back of his
head.
Fortune: Big Country is going all out on Morehead with that chain!
Hunt: I can’t watch!
Blood forms on the back of Morehead’s bare and beaten skull. Country tries to
stand the 215 pound man but the dead weight and the slippery blood cause
Country to lose grip and fall backwards, losing the chain in the process.
Morehead grabs the chain as he gets to his feet, and then rolls into the ring,
leaving a trail of blood spots on the mat. Country quickly follows.
Fortune: Back in the ring they go!
Country charges at the bloodied Morehead, who has his back turned away from the
closing-in challenger. Country gets to Morehead and spins him around. Country
throws a right but is blocked by Morehead who then plants his foot into
Country’s gut causing him to hunch over. Morehead quickly wraps the chain
around his fist, kneels down, and drives the chain into Country’s face with a
jumping uppercut, sending Country flying up and backwards. Morehead, whose
entire head is now covered in blood, his hair now red as well, covers Country
in another mount, and continues to pound his chain-wrapped fist into Country’s
head.
Hunt: Give it to him Cravin!!
Fortune: This is sickening, Big Country has been busted open, this match should
be called. Both Morehead and Big Country are bleeding. This is too much, I
think I’m going to be sick.
Fortune: Pansy! This is great!
Morehead stops striking Country’s head and instead starts to grind the chain
into the wound, splitting it open even further. The chain has now been
completely covered in the combatant’s blood. Morehead continues his chaotic
attack on Country’s wound. Blood from Country’s head becomes darker as the once
small cut is now a gaping wound.
Hunt: Oh my. Uggh. Where’s that wastebasket?
Fortune: Stomach trouble, Alex?
Hunt grabs the wastebasket and a "BLLLLLLLOOOOOORRRRRK" sound is made
as Hunt releases his lunch.
Morehead stands up and looks into the crowd whom as a whole has been mostly
silent from the psychotic chaos shown to them by this match, but the sight of
Morehead standing and Country apparently passed out from loss of blood sets a
fire under the crowd as they once again fill the arena with chants of
"LAST MAN". Morehead cracks a bloody grin as the cheers from the
crowd amuse him. Country lays motionless in the growing pool of blood he is
forming.
Fortune: As much as I hate to say it, Big Country looks finished!
Hunt: Well, I hate to agree with you, so I won't!
Morehead goes over to Country and picks him to his feet, forces the limp man to
stand, puts him over his shoulder, and moves over to the turnbuckle, where he
places Country sitting on the top turnbuckle, facing the crowd. Morehead climbs
to the second rope, turns to face the ring, places Country belly up on his
right shoulder, jumps off, and crushes the passed out man with a Top Turnbuckle
Super Shoulder Breaker.
Fortune: Treacherous move! But why? Big Country is out?
Hunt: I told you Big Country wasn’t finished!
Morehead goes over to Country and stands over the broken man. He spits right
into the bloodied face of Country. A commotion is seen in the crowd. The ref
pleads with Morehead to cover Country and end this. EMT’s arrive ringside
awaiting the bell to aide the bloodied wrestlers. Morehead grabs Sonny Bright
by the throat and yells in his face "I’m not finished with him yet!!”.
From the crowd and over the rail pops out the mystery man known only as Wicked
Ways, lead pipe in hand. Morehead does not notice him as Wicked Ways climbs in
the ring behind him.
Fortune: Why is Wicked Ways here? What’s going on?
Hunt: I dunno, but I bet Magic has something to do with this! Big Country is
down with Forsaken!
Wicked Ways doesn’t hesitate in the ring as he runs at Morehead and slams the
lead pipe right into the back of his skull, knocking the Extreme Champ right
down face-first, unconscious.Wicked Ways picks up the limp Big Country and
powerbombs him hard into the mat. Wicked Ways picks up Morehead and places him
on top of Country. Ref Bright makes the count.
Hunt: What the hell???
1…
Fortune: What in the world?!
2….
Hunt: Morehead didn't need the help!
Fortune: Three! MOREHEAD HAS WON!!!
Hunt: But why in the world did Forsaken send out Wicked Ways to attack not only
Cravin Morehead but Big Country as well!
Fortune: Only time will tell, Alex! In a no-DQ match, anything goes!
Wicked Ways leaves through the crowd, just as EMTs check on Morehead and
Country.
Fortune: What a vicious match we just saw!
Hunt: I have a newfound respect for anyone that competes in this division!
---Back on the set---
Sitting behind
the desk now is Holly Fortune, dressed down casually in slacks and a GZW staff
shirt. Her hair is pinned up in a bun on the back of her head. She smiles into
the camera as she stacks her notes on the table.
Holly:
Hello out there. Holly Fortune here temporarily for Memphis Pike. It seems
revisiting the last clip has upset his stomach. So they stuck me out here to
steer the ship until the captain gets back.
Holly:
The following match chronicles the classic stable war of Forsaken against
E.S.P. All six men previously were tearing into each other any chance they got,
but at the Sun Devil Arena in Tempe, Arizona on the 7th of May, the
teams really let go in the main event.
Holly:
It was many of these men in this feud that went on to dominate the main event
level and etch their names into the fabric of GZW. Without them this company
would probably not have found it’s legs to stand on. So seat back and enjoy
this Greatest Classic Feud.
---Greatest
Classic Feuds---
---Main Event: Forsaken vs. EZ and
Smooth Pimpin'---
Fortune:
Buckle up your seat belts because we will have a six-man war coming up next in
the main event. The Forsaken; Magic, T-Rex, and the Defiant will meet EZ and
Smooth Pimpin'; EZ Money, Pimp Bizkit, Billy Bond. The Forsaken look to take
out three of the brightest stars of the EWO here tonight!
Hunt: The Forsaken have brought boredom to the EWO ever since their formation.
There are internet rumours that Bonds, T-Rex and Chris Karnage are scheduled to
be a part of the triple threat lights out match at Deceit while Magic and EZ
Money are supposed to hook up at that same pay per view in a falls count
anywhere match for the Lightheavyweight Title. But I say the Forsaken are going
to be the ones deceived at Deceit!
"CAAANNNNN YOOOOUUUU FEEEEELLLLL THEEEE PAAAAIIINNN!!!"
The lights go out suddenly and as quickly as they went out, the lights come
back on with Magic standing in the corner. On one knee are both T-Rex and
Defiant.
Fortune: The nightmares you have as a kid, the monsters under your bed; they
live in the Forsaken!
Hunt: BORING!
EZ Money, Pimp Bizkit and Billy Bond come out together in a sign of solidarity.
The three men eye the Forsaken on their way to the ring.
Fortune: These six men represent the next generation of the EWO! These are our
next superstars!
Defiant and Money start the match. Defiant charges in, but Money takes him over
with a hiptoss. Defiant gets up and Money chops away on the chest of Defiant.
Irish whip by Money followed by a sweet dropkick. Money continues the offense
with a snap suplex.
Fortune: EZ Money tags in "Smooth Operator" Billy Bond, the EWO
Extreme Champ!
Bond comes into the ring with a flair, hitting a slingshot senton on Defiant.
Smooth picks up Defiant and hammers away with stiff forearm shots. Irish whip
by Bond. Bond takes down a rebounding Defiant with a flying head scissor
takedown.
Fortune: Billy Bond is one smooth superstar here in the EWO! He is a deserving
Extreme Champion!
Morris: You're only saying that because he kissed you!
Bond beats down Defiant in the corner. Bond lays in several kicks to the ribs
of Defiant. Bond whips Defiant into the opposite corner. Bond charges in.
Defiant gets out of the way as Bond's attempted spear hits the steel post.
Defiant gets behind the Extreme Champ and nails a release German suplex.
Defiant presses the advantage, raking the eyes of Bond then follows with a
blatant choke.
Fortune: One thing that Forsaken has in common, they love to dish out pain!
Hunt: Zzzz!
Defiant lands several headbutts to Bond and then tags in T-Rex.
Fortune: Here comes the Forsaken Enforcer, T-Rex!
Hunt: Who booked this as the main event?
Defiant and Rex whip Bond to the ropes. Defiant elevates Bond high in the air
and Rex catches him and powerslams him to the mat. Rex then scoops up his
partner Defiant and slams him on top of Bond.
Angle: What innovative offense by the Forsaken!
Hunt: Is that not an oxymoron, offense and Forsaken?
As Defiant leaves the ring, Rex lands some clubbing forearms to the back of
Bond. Rex picks up Bond and lands a crushing headbutt.
Fortune: What a massive headbutt! Bond's brain must be scrambled!
Hunt: Billy Bond is taking some major damage in the ring right now!
Bond gets up and Rex lands another devastating headbutt, dropping the Extreme
Champ to the mat. Rex looks over to his partners. Magic smiles an evil smile in
approval. Rex bounces off the ropes and drives a huge elbow drop onto the chest
of Bond.
Fortune: That elbow drop really knocked the wind out of Bond! This could do it!
The cover by Rex.
1…2…
Fortune: Kick out by Bond! What a valiant effort by the EWO Extreme Champ!
Rex can't believe it. He picks up Bond and lands several more clubbing
forearms. Irish whip by Rex. Rex picks up Bond in a huge bearhug, squeezing the
very breath out of Bond.
Fortune: T-Rex with that vice-like bearhug on Bond!
Hunt: I don't care how smooth he is, Billy Bond can't hold on much longer!
The fans try to rally the Extreme Champ. Bond struggles. He rakes the eyes of
Rex. Bond breaks free and nails a low dropkick to the knee of Rex. Rex
stumbles. Bond hits another low dropkick, dropping the big man to one knee.
Bond lands a stiff kick to the side of the head of Rex as he drops to the mat.
Hunt: Bond with a vicious kick to the head!
Bond goes to pick up Rex, but the big man lands a blow to the midsection of
Bond. Irish whip by Rex and he nails Bond with a big boot.
Hunt: I wonder if I left the iron on at home?
Rex taunts Pimp and Money. Pimp gets into the ring, but the ref stops him. Rex
lifts up Bond in a delayed suplex. But Money, with the ref distracted with
Pimp, nails Rex in the gut with a stiff martial art kick. Bond comes down from
the delayed suplex position and drives Rex's head into the mat with a DDT.
Fortune: Listen to these fans!
Bond makes it back to the corner, tagging in the MidCard Killer, Pimp Bizkit.
Pimp unloads several thunderous right hands on the Enforcer, Rex. Pimp follows
up with a rake to the face and then nails a swinging neckbreaker on Rex. Pimp
continues his fast paced offense with a quick elbow drop from the second
turnbuckle.
Fortune: The best way to combat a man like T-Rex is to keep him grounded.
Hunt: That is so true, Kandi. Beat the Forsaken punks to the ground!
The cover by Pimp, but Rex kicks out. Pimp, with the crowd solidly behind him,
goes for an Irish whip, but Rex reverses. As Pimp hits the ropes, Magic lands a
clubbing blow to the back of his head. Pimp stumbles forward and Rex levels him
with a clothesline. Magic tags into the match.
Fortune: Here comes the Lightheavyweight Champ!
Hunt: Or the Little Man's Champion!
Magic blasts Pimp with punishing right hands. Irish whip by Magic and nails
Pimp with a vicious mafia kick. Magic then sadistically measures Pimp and nails
several well-placed elbow drops. Magic gets up and knocks Money off the apron
with a right hand. Bond gets in the ring, wanting a piece of Magic. While the
ref Dark is busy trying to restrain Bond, Defiant and Rex tie up Pimp in the
ropes. Magic pummels away on a helpless Pimp in the ropes. Magic goes over to
get in the face of Richard Dark, distracting him. Meanwhile, Defiant and Rex
continue to work over Pimp in the ropes.
Fortune: The Forsaken with their sinister manipulation of Referee Richard Dark!
Magic turns his attention once again to Pimp, but this time, Pimp breaks free.
Pimp rushes at Magic and levels him with a forearm smash. The fans go crazy.
Pimp takes down Magic with a scoop slam. Magic gets back up and Pimp levels him
with an explosive dropkick. Pimp tags Money.
Fortune: Pimp Bizkit tags in his partner, EZ Money!
Hunt: Here is the matchup everyone has been waiting for!
Pimp and Money whip Magic to the ropes. Pimp nails an inverted atomic drop and
Money follows up with a spinning heel kick, taking down Magic.
Angle: EZ Money and Pimp showing great teamwork here tonight!
Hunt: Just hurt that little punk Magic!
Money Irish whips Magic, but Magic reverses. Money bounces off the ropes and
nails an avalanche hurricanranna. Magic gets up and Money nails him with a
clothesline, sending him over the top rope and onto the floor. Money gets on
the apron. Magic gets up and Money nails him with a kick from the apron. Magic is
stunned. Money leaps onto the middle rope and nails an Asai moonsault on Magic.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a move!
Hunt: What is EZ trying to tame a lion?
Pimp joins Money in double teaming Magic. Meanwhile, Bond gets into the ring
with Defiant.
Fortune: Richard Dark has lost control of this match!
Hunt: Yeah baby! Complete disorder!
Bond nails Defiant with a spear. Rex tries to get into the ring, but Bond
knocks him off the apron with a dropkick. Rex falls off the apron and crashes
into the steel guard rail. But Defiant gets back up and tosses Bond to the
floor. All six men brawl on the outside.
Fortune: This is wild!
Hunt: Kind of like "Girls Gone Wild"! Excellent documentary!
Meanwhile, Money holds Magic for Pimp on the other side of the ring. Pimp
charges in, but Magic gets out of the way. Pimp levels Money with a
clothesline.
Hunt: Pimp just leveled EZ Money! The MidCard Killer is trying to kill EZ
Money's career!
Fortune: Stop it! You know it was an accident!
Pimp stands above Money, stunned but Magic comes from behind and nails a belly
to back suplex on Pimp, dropping him on his head on the floor. Magic grabs
Money and rolls him back into the ring.
Fortune: Finally, we have the two legal men back in the ring!
Magic Irish whips Money to the ropes. Money comes off the ropes and goes for a
flying headscissors but Magic holds onto Money's legs, and drops Money in a
face first sitdown powerbomb. The cover by Magic.
1…2...
Fortune: Three! The Forsaken win this battle!
Hunt: NO!! Why have you "forsaken" me, EZ and Smooth Pimpin'?
Magic stands victorious over Money. Rex and Defiant get in the ring to join
their partner. The Forsaken and Crystal, who runs down, stand in the ring,
unified by their dark mission: to bring pain to the EWO!
Fortune: In all their glory stands Forsaken!
"Sprach Zarathrustra" by Richard Strauss comes over the speaker
systems as the crowd looks to the rampway. From behind the curtain walks Eddie
Henchman, chainlink around his neck, Chris Karnage, carrying barbwired 2x4,and
Stuart "Touched By Greatness", carrying a metal bat. They part to the
side and out walks Reaper. The crowd begins to chant "@ssholes!" as
Reaper gives them a scowl.
Hunt: Oh yeah! Boring Forsaken is about to get the beatdown that EZ and Smooth
Pimpin' couldn't give them! Give 'em hell CHAOS THEORY (c)!!
Fortune: The Theory is planning to put an exclamation point on tonight's
activities, as they seem to have been involved in every match tonight!
Sincere finally steps onto the entranceway to an enormous heel pop of the
night. Forever dressed in a black short dress stands next to here husband with
her arms crossed. Sincere begins to speak into microphone he carries.
Fortune: We are out of time wrestling fans! Tune in on Thursday for Thriller!
Hunt: We can't go off the air! The Theory is about to rumble with The Forsaken!
Whoo!!
---Back on the set---
Holly is sitting
at the desk but the returning Pike now joins her. Pike has changed clothes
again this time wearing a GZW warmup suit.
Holly:
How’s the stomach, Memphis?
Pike:
To many uh…um…donuts. Yeah, that’s what it was.
Holly:
(smiling) Right.
Pike:
Anyway, on with the show. The next clips is the entire Monday Massacre show
which took place the 18th of June at the great General Motors Palace
in Detroit, Michigan. This show alone has to be the biggest swerve in the
history of this company.
Holly:
Memphis, the show didn’t really take place due to the fact…
Pike:
Let’s get right to the show so the fans know what we are talking about!
---Great
Swerves of 2001---
---“The Exodus” Monday Massacre 18 June 01---
Explosion lights the arena sky as "Pout" by
Relative Ash rocks throughout the General Motors Palace. The EWO-Tron comes to
life with the large letters of "EWO". The camera scans the crowd
showing them going berserk for the start of Monday Massacre.
As the music dies down and the pyro ends the camera focuses on the announce
table of Kandi Fortune and Alexander Hunt. No one is sitting in the seats
behind the table and the headsets are laying there.
A backstage camera comes into focus and it darts in and out of lockerrooms,
which all are empty. The crowd begins to chant, "EWO, EWO".
The camera finally comes upon a office of Vice-President and Director of
Wrestling Affairs. On the closed door is a taped letter on EWO stationery. The
camera zooms in on the letter showing what it reads.
"To Who It May Concern,
It is my deepest sympathies to inform you that as of seven o'clock the company
known as GroundZero Enterprises has acquired the bulk of your talent and staff
in a major contractual buyout. Many attempts were made to contact any executive
officer of Extreme World Order Entertainment, but all efforts proved fruitless.
If it were not for the assistance of Tate Edmonson, this business venture would
have floundered.
We at GroundZero Enterprises are proud to announce that two EWO superstars and
current title holders have signed a long term and lucrative contract with our
own upstart wrestling organization known as GroundZero Wrestling 2K1.We are
confident that in the coming days we will have all the contracts successfully
bought out and signed.
As for the absence of any wrestlers here tonight in the General Motors Palace,
we are sad to regret that since the wrestlers of EWO were bought out by
GroundZero Enterprises, they will be unable to perform under the banner of
Extreme World Order Entertainment and any of it's branch companies.
In order to appease the faithful fans that have supported these men, the GZW
2K1 will return to this same arena next week and deliver a tremendous show.
Again we regret this misfortune.
GroundZero Enterprises"
Alex Hunt is seen walking down the hall. He is pulling a suitcase on wheels as
he looks to be leaving the building. He spots the camera and smiles.
Hunt: Wasup, you mindless cattle out there? Well, I'm pretty sure that the
world saw the letter on Tate Edmonson's former office, so it's no secret. It's
been nice, but we got to go. See you guys next Monday in the GZW.
Hunt, smiling even bigger, places shades onto his face and walks toward the
parking lot.
The camera stays on him until he disappears due to distance. The camera fades
leaving the emptiness of the backstage area and the crowd still cheering
"EWO,EWO”
---Commercial
Break---
The show returns to both Pike and Holly standing
in front of the desk. Behind them on the screen flashes scenes from the
previous matches shown.
Pike: Holly, biggest and longest feud ever in
GZW?
Holly: Of course it’s the Giggles versus Wylder
feud. Those two have been fighting over that body for years now. I wonder what
happen to him? He was kind of cute.
Pike: (chuckling) No not that feud, Holly, but
the feud that was settled this past month at Acceptable Risks in a Steel Cage
Grudge match. It was the two GZW mega stars, T-Rex and Sincere, that most
people think of and it is the next match up which took place at the first
Monday Manslaughter in the new home of GZW that solidified the feud.
---Greatest
Classic Feuds---
----Main Event: GZW World Heavyweight Championship: Sincere vs. T-Rex---
Fortune: It's time for the big one. The GZW World Champion T-Rex faces quite possibly the most dangerous man in the GZW, Sincere!
Hunt: Dangerous? You better believe it! Any man who leads a group called the CHAOS THEORY (c) must be dangerous!
The lights go out in the arena. Suddenly as the lights go on, Sincere stands tall in the ring.
Fortune: I wonder how he did that?
Hunt: Forces beyond even Miss Cleo's understanding!
Sincere, leader of the CHAOS THEORY (c) stands in the center of the ring. The crowd boos, and hisses. He ignores them all looking for his opponent, waiting...
T-Rex's music "Midwest Swing" by the St.Lunatics hits as the stage is lit from behind by a huge white light. The crowd jumps to their feet, cheering, chanting, waiting for their champ.
T-Rex's shadow emerges from within the light. Moving forward, the light dims and the crowd screams louder than before. Wearing the title belt proudly around his waist T-Rex advances toward his waiting adversary. Never breaking eye contact.
Fortune: T-Rex is ready!
Hunt: Oh boy. Let me guess, he has that "eye of the tiger" thing?
T-Rex climbs into the ring and
walks right up to Sincere. Face-to-face, Sincere screams at the champ, taunting, motioning for the belt.
T-Rex just stares, hands the
belt to the ref, who holds it up for the crowd to see.
T-Rex smiles in Sincere's face.
Sincere pushes the champ away... Referee Richard Dark calls for the bell.
Fortune: It's on!
The two men meet in the center of the ring in a clench. Neither men gain the advantage and break their hold.
Another clench...nothing
Another Clench...nothing
Fortune: Both of these men have studied their opponents so well neither one is gaining the advantage!
Hunt: They are like two big bulls! Except T-Rex is the one that reeks of bullcrap!
Another clench, this time Sincere falls backwards, not breaking his hold on T-Rex. This flips Rex over the falling Sincere. Sincere quickly gets up and presses in on Rex who stands up by the ropes.
Sincere brings down three successive chops across the chest of the champ. Sincere goes for the fourth but Rex blocks it, Rex brings down a chop of his own. Another one staggers Sincere back a step, SLAP! Both men are at the center of the ring SLAP! Sincere is forced back by another ear splitting blow.
Sincere turns and runs to the
ropes, comes off them and returns with speed
for a clothesline. Rex ducks and goes
to the rope himself. Both men charge at each other with the added momentum of the ropes.
Rex with a clothesline attempt and
Sincere ducks...they get to the ropes...Sincere on the return trip but Rex has held onto the ropes.
Sincere barrels in but Rex
ducks and flips Sincere out of the ring with a back body
drop. The crowd pops as the Jade
Dragon lands hard onto the floor. Sincere is incensed. His rage clearly shows on his face, he paces like a
caged animal.
Fortune: Sincere is furious!
Hunt: Hey, if you call yourself a Jade Dragon, you have an image to maintain!
Rex in the ring, steps to the edge of the ring and....
Fortune: Would you look at this, the champ is actually holding the ropes for Sincere!
Hunt: That's the problem with T-Rex, he is too much of a boy scout for his own good!
The crowd is quiet, some not believing what is going on. Sincere flashes an obscene gesture at Rex and goes to the ring steps instead to come back into the ring. Rex waits in the center of the ring for Rex. Sincere charges in at Rex, with a spear type tackle aimed at Rex's knee.
Fortune: That would have taken down an elephant, but T-Rex is still standing!
Sincere tries to sweep the leg out and drop the champ. Rex shakes Sincere off and pushes him away. Not wanting to lose the speed, Sincere comes back off the rope and goes airborne with a high cross body. This brings both men to the mat and Sincere a pinning combination. Count by Ref Dark.
1...Kick out by Rex.
Sincere capitalizes on his grounded opponent. Elbow drop to the chest, another to the knee, another...Rex rolls out of the way of the fourth elbow and Sincere finds just canvas.
Fortune: No one home!
Rex quick to his feet hooks Sincere in a belly to back. Rex comes in with a falling knee drop into Sncere's chest. He grabs Sincere by the hair and gets him back to a vertical position. Rex picks Sincere up and drops him in an overhead bodyslam the leaves Sincere stunned.
Hunt: There he is you idiot! Pin
him pin him. Not the sharpest tool in the
shed, is he?
Rex waits for Sincere to stand and
regain himself. Sincere rolls into the corner to regain his feet. Rex charges in with a spear that shakes
Sincere like a rag doll in the
corner. Rex backs away. The crowd cheers "Extinction
Extinction Extinction"
Hunt: Oh yippee. Extinction..Extinction!
Rex hooks a belly-to-belly suplex and brings Sincere down into the center of the mat. Rex with the cover. Ref Dark with the count.
1..kick out!
Rex brings Sincere back to a standing position. Sincere fights back with a flurry of lefts and rights that back the champ up into the ropes. Sincere grabs Rex and takes a running step, dropping the champ in a bulldog.
Hunt: Ha! Talk about rug burn...that was canvas burn!
Sincere quickly picks up Rex and drops him in a snap DDT. He points to the champ at his feet "Now is the time of redemption"
Hunt: Yeah, I wanna see some redemption too!
Sincere reaches down and stands
Rex up just before he whips him hard into the corner turnbuckle. This time it is Sincere with the belly to
belly. He whips Rex into the
corner, shaking the ringpost. Sincere charges in with a
clothesline that would normally break
people's necks. With a hip toss, Sincere flings Rex out of the corner.
Fortune: Sincere's power and strength is unbelievable!
Hunt: Let me guess...off the charts?
Sincere can smell blood and measures an elbow across the throat. He stands Rex up and slaps him into an abdominal stretch.
Fortune: Oh no! Sincere trying to aggravate the back of the Champ!
Hunt: Stretch him till he is a foot taller, Sincere! Hehee!
The crowd starts clapping, stomping there feet. Rex responds to the movement, starts to pump his arms. Sincere will have none of that. He cinches down the hold. Rex tries again to use the energy of the crowd. Sincere tightens the hold. Rex gets his arms pumping, fighting the pain...
Fortune: Oh no! Here comes Sincere's CHAOS THEORY (c)!
Hunt: I'm sure they are just coming to watch, after all Sincere has the champ right where he wants him!
Fortune: Yeah, right!
Big Country and Stuart Randle run
to the ringside. The ref sees them as Randle climbs the apron and goes to intercept. Country comes into
the ring and delivers several
punches to the exposed midsection of the champ. Sincere applies more pressure. Randle grabs Ref
Dark by the hair. The ref
pushes Randle off the apron and sees Big Country talking smack to the still stretched Rex. Richard Dark orders
him out of the ring. Sincere finally releases the stretch and drops Rex to the ground at his feet. He
rolls Rex
over, goes for the cover but...
Fortune: Senior Referee Richard Dark won't count! What is going on? Do we finally have a ref that has brains?
Hunt: Hey do your job! Count! Count!
The ref motions that he won't make the count. Sincere rises to his feet and gets in the Dark's face. The ref pushes Sincere back and rolls out of the ring to the official's table.
Herbert Torres: (ring announcer) " Ladies and Gentlemen, Senior Referee Richard Dark has declared that Big Country and Stuart Randle must leave the ringside area or Sincere will be disqualified"
Fortune: There's some justice!
Hunt: Since when did wrestling refs grow balls?!?
The crowd cheers their approval. Country and Randle are not happy, Sincere however is calm and motions for him men to leave. Reluctantly, they do but not before giving a nod to their leader.
Herbert Torres: "Also, to ensure that there will be no further interruptions, Richard Dark has ruled that a cage be lowered to prevent further involvement!"
Fortune: Can you believe this, Alex? Where in the world did that cage come from? It is good to see a ref taking responsibility for a change!"
Hunt: He was probably paid off by T-Rex. Or maybe he doesn't want to break his little son or daughter's heart by having their hero lose? Or maybe, he knows that if Sincere becomes champ, the GZW will sure to fall under the control of the CHAOS THEORY (c)!
Fortune: The champ would never buy off an official...
Hunt: I would...
Fortune: Fortunately, you're not the champ.
Hunt: Hey if this was the old WCW, I could be!
As the cage comes down around the ring, Sincere protests to Richard Dark, the crowd and the officials. The ref will hear nothing of it. He warns Sincere that it is either this or a DQ...which would he prefer?
Rex during this time has had a
chance to recuperate. He works the kinks out of his body and waves his arms above his head.
"Extinction! Extinction! Extinction!"
the crowd roars...Rex feeds off this noise. He approaches
Sincere from behind.
Sincere turns around just as Rex lands a chop that staggers him back. Sincere reels back into the ropes. Rex whips Sincere to the other ropes...on the way back Sincere avoids a powerslam with a dropkick that sends Rex down with a loud crash. Sincere grabs Rex's legs, spreads them wide...
Hunt: Make a wish...
And drops an elbow in the lower extremities of Rex. Sincere turns from the stunned champ and taunts the crowd. The crowd boos and chants for their champ. As Sincere walks around the ring, proclaiming himself as champ, Rex stands.
Fortune: It's not over yet, Sincere!
Sincere sees Rex standing and charges in. Rex catches him in a powerslam that bounces the ring. Rex is quick to his feet, waiting for Sincere to make another move. Both men charge in and hit each other with a clothesline that drops both men.
Fortune: Both men go down!
Both men roll away and regain their feet at the same time. Rex calls for the test of strength...the crowd goes wild. Sincere approaches cautiously, and they lock in the hold.
They stand perfectly still for the longest time. Then Sincere starts to push Rex back. The crowd fuels Rex and he pushes back forcing Sincere to drop to a knee. Sincere fights his way up to both feet.
Hunt: You can't stop evil! You can only hope to contain it!
Fortune: Watching Sportscenter I see...
Big Country and Randle return. Country is carrying a very frightened young woman in his huge arms. Randle looks at her like a hungry lion. Richard Dark sees them coming, a look of shock and alarm on his face.
Fortune: What the hell is this all about?
Sincere takes the opportunity to
kick Rex in the gut and break the clench. A quick DDT brings Rex to
the floor. The noise of the fall brings Ref Dark back into the action. Sincere jumps on Rex's
back and slaps on a sleeper hold. Rex fights the hold. The ref, looking confused and concerned, checks for
the tap
out.
Hunt: Check his damn hand! Damn, refs these days!
Rex gets his knees about him, and starts a war dance. Sincere tries to keep the hold in place but Rex fights out of it with elbows to Sincere's gut. Rex, free of the hold starts dancing around the ring. Sincere grabs the ref by the collar and says something to him, he points to the girl in Country’s clutches. As he points , Country grins and Randle steps forward to lick the girls face.
Fortune: EEEwwwwyyuuuukkkk
Hunt: I think Randle likes her!
Fortune: Who is that woman?
Rex and Sincere clash, rights, lefts, Rex gains the advantage. Whips Sincere off the ropes and brings him up and back with a spinning backbreaker. He goes for the cover.
Senior Referee Richard Dark in position
1..
2..kickout by Sincere.
Fortune: So close!
Rex lifts Sincere up to his feet. Whip by Rex, reversal by Sincere. Rex comes off the ropes and Sincere catches him with a powerslam. Sincere goes for the pin
1..
2.. Kickout!
Fortune: Sincere is pissed now! Look at the veins bulging!
Sincere is not pleased. He picks Rex up hauls him over to the turnbuckle. He sets Rex up on the turnbuckle. Sincere goes up as well, hooks his waist and drops Rex with the...
Fortune: Chaosbringer (off the top turnbuckle belly to belly suplex)!
Hunt: Party's over now!
Rex crashes down onto the mat. Sincere stands triumphant. He stomps Rex and again motions for the belt. Rex rolls to his side. Sincere drives a knee into the champs back. Sincere calls Dark over and points to the CHAOS THEORY (c) and their guest outside the ring then motions for the count. Richard Dark looks fearful. Sincere with the cover
1..
2..
Fortune: T-Rex has kicked out of the Chaosbringer!
The crowd cheers with an ear-piercing scream.
Fortune: Listen to these fans!
Hunt: What? Are the Backstreet Boys in the house?
Sincere motions to Big Country and Country nods and lifts the girl up into a choke slam position...
Fortune: What is up with the Theory and this girl?
Hunt: Don't know…but she's cute!
Sincere goes to lifts up Rex, but the champ fights back with elbows to the midsection. A knee to the gut of Rex by Sincere cuts off that rally. Sincere whips Rex to the ropes. Sincere goes to scoop up the World Champ, but Rex floats over. Sincere turns around and gets clotheslined.
Fortune: T-Rex is not done yet!
Rex grabs Sincere's legs, setting him up for the catapult. Rex sails him through the air into the turnbuckle.
Fortune: HOLY JAZMIN ANDREA! The strength behind that blow was inhuman!
Rex grabs Sincere, but Sincere hooks a small package rollup!!
123
Fortune: NO! NO! The ref with a quick count has given Sincere the title! Who is that woman? What did Sincere say to Richard Dark?!
Hunt: That count was legit! You know it!
Rex jumps to his feet, shocked. Sincere rolls out of the ring and is meet at the door of the cage by Country and Randle. Hands raised in victory, Sincere emerges out of the cage.
Herbert Torres: "Here is your winner and NEW Heavyweight Champion of the world...SINCERE!!"
The crowd can't believe it; in
shocked silence they watch Sincere yank the belt from the official. The girl runs to the ring and hugs
Richard Dark crying. Rex still
doesn't know what was going on. Richard Dark starts
apologizing to Rex, trying to
explain.
Meanwhile, Sincere and the Theory walk up the ramp. The whole time taunting the crowd and pointing to the belt that is now in the possession of Sincere...
Fortune: In all my years, I have not seen anything as like this! As Stan from South Park would say, "This is some seriously *ucked up $hit!"
Hunt: Boo hoo. The reign of T-Rex is over! The golden era of the GZW is yet to come with Sincere as our champion!
Fortune: This has been an eventful evening fans. Thank you for joining us and goodnight!
---Back
on the set---
Holly: I didn’t know that Sincere was such a
ruthless bastard. To use Senior Referee Richard Dark’s daughter as leverage to
win the GZW Heavyweight Championship is truly diabolical.
Pike: Now you see why Alex Hunt dubbed the Jade
Dragon “the professor of psychological warfare and mastermind of mindgames”.
This next match comes from a Thursday Travesty on the 28th of June.
It was a tournament to crown the first ever GZW Television Champion and the
enigmatic wrestler known as Soul Shaker was on a tear while the great team tag
wrestler Samuel Knight was seeking single glory.
Holly: It’s a shame that this great sport allows
such as Soul Shaker to step into the ring with real athletes like Samuel
Knight. If you can hear me, Mr. Knight, have speedy recovery from your injuries
suffered at Acceptable Risks.

( Shaker beats Knight with the shovel into the backstage area)
Dean: well folkes we have no camera to follow this action so onto the next match
---Back
on the set---
Pike: Samuel Knight was permanently confided to
a wheelchair after that match while the Avenging, Angel Jason ArcAngel,
vanquished Soul Shaker from wrestling months later.
Holly: Good riddance if you ask me. Anyone who
tries to purposely end someone else’s career should not be allowed in this
great sport.
Pike: That leads us right into our next vintage
match that was the debut of Maxx Steele or better known to the GZW world as
“The CareerKiller” Maxx Pain. The giant man made his debut on the 2nd
of July against the monster known as Wicked Ways. Of course Wicked Ways has
since unmasked and revealed himself to be Deacon Kane the “little” brother of
Nathaniel “Entertainment Franchise” Davis, Sincere’s brother-in-law, and the
current GZW Heavyweight Champion.
Holly: Not much has changed for Maxx Pain
besides the name change. He still has no social skills and only been a champion
for one week.
Pike: In this crazy world of wrestling anything
can happen, Holly. Next week Mr. Pain could be the Heavyweight Champion. This
ending of this match sparks the ongoing feud between “The Wicked One” and
“Smooth Operator” Billy Bond. It was the actions of Wicked Ways that put Smooth
out for several months with injuries.
---Greatest Debuts---
--- Maxx Steele vs. Wicked Ways---
Fortune: An intern has just handed me a memo. It says that for the entertainment of the fans, our esteemed Booking Committee has signed the next match, Maxx Steele against...the man monster, Wicked Ways!
Hunt: The massive monster in action twice on the show? Yippee!
Maxx Steele is already in the ring, pulling on the ring ropes to loosen up, while his valet, Maxine Steele is at ringside. Suddenly, the lights flicker off and on.
Fortune: Here he is! The 7'4" 478 pound bad man, the massive monster Abomination!
Hunt: I'll take care of Maxine for you Steele while you are recovering from the beatdown Wicked Ways is about to give you! Hehee!
The large monster walks down the rampway, the fans boo and jeer the masked man from the new Bad Company. Ways steps into the ring. Steele charges at the big man, but Ways grabs him and slams him to the mat with a Bossman slam. Ways lifts Steele up by the throat with both hands. With Steele held up high, ways lands several crushing headbutts, then slams him down to the mat with a double handed sitdown chokeslam (Albert's Baldo Bomb).
Fortune: Wicked Ways is manhandling Maxx Steele!
Hunt: Guess Wicked Ways is accepting Steele's open challenge! I never understood why new guys always come into feds screaming that open challenge nonsense!
Ways lifts Steele up to his feet. Ways with a vicious short arm clothesline sends Steele flipping through the air.
Fortune: My goodness! This is absolute carnage!
Wicked Ways lifts Steele up to his feet once more. Ways powerbombs Maxx into the turnbuckles. Ways then lifts up a battered Steele by the throat...
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a chokeslam! But wait! Wicked Ways is still not done!
Wicked Ways lifts up Steele one more time...
Fortune: Wicked Way (muscle buster)!!! Ohmigosh! He damn well snapped Steele's spine!
Ways with a one foot pin on Steele's face.
1..2..
Fortune: Three!!! Wicked Ways with the utter demolition of Maxx Steele!
Hunt: This match was over before it started! Learn to be patient, Maxx Steele!
Fortune: Wait! The big monster's thirst for destruction isn't done yet!
Ways grabs the referee by the throat. Ways with a huge chokeslam to the mat! Referees, security guards and officials flood the ring, but Ways takes out each man as they enter the ring.
Fortune: The massive behemoth is laying waste to everyone entering the ring!
Hunt: He's Bad Company! He can do what he wants!
Suddenly, "Smooth Operator" by Sade plays on the speakers...
Fortune: That can only be..."Smooth Operator" Billy Bond!
Ways drops a referee as he was about to chokeslam him. Smooth runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. The two men slug it out in the center of the ring.
Fortune: Smooth and Wicked Ways trade blows in the ring! Smooth with the better of the exchange!
Smooth goes for an Irish whip, Ways reverses.
Smooth off the ropes, ducks a Ways clothesline. Smooth off the far ropes.
Dropkick by Smooth sends Ways out of the ring!
Smooth goes to the floor. The two men brawl up the
ramp and up onto the stage. Smooth with right hands. Ways fires back with
several right hands of his own. Smooth fires back with rapid right hands.
Fortune: Smooth goes for a DDT on the stage, but Wicked Ways reverses it with a back body drop!
Smooth comes crashing down on his back on the stage! Ways lifts Smooth up to his feet. Ways has Smooth in a standing headlock. He has Smooth up over his shoulders near the edge of the stage...
Fortune: HOLY JAZMIN ANDREA! Wicked Ways powerbombs Smooth off the stage and down through a table to the hard concrete below! He's broken him not in two, but in four!!!
Hunt: Nathaniel Davis might call himself the "CareerMaker" but it's Wicked Ways who is the "CareerBreaker"!
EMTs rush to tend to Smooth who's body is laying on the concrete floor below the stage. Way stands on the stage, looking down at the crumpled form of Smooth, as the crowd showers him with boos.
---Commercial
Break---
After the commercial the camera opens back to
Pike and Holly examining a bat wrapped with barbed wire. Holly is grimacing
looking at the vile instrument of destruction while Pike looks on with delight.
Pike: This is the same object, which laid out
the superstar Magic way back on the 2nd of July. The newcomer Majick
had turned his back on the fan favorites of GZW and sided with the new Bad
Company weeks prior. Majick felt that there was room in GZW for only one
Majick/Magic, so the newcomer took upon himself to permanently take out the
former LightHeavyweight Champion.
Holly: Majick actually did succeed in taking out
Magic by constantly plunging that bat into Magic’s throat, but the Desert Storm
came back and went on to win the GZW Heavyweight Championship.
Pike: An underlining story behind all this was
that the new Bad Company was the vanguard stable to the coming of the dark wave
of HKWF wrestlers that influxed into the GZW. Led by Fox Giovianni, Endangered
Species, Giggles/Wylders, Majick and Wicked Ways foretold of the madness that
John Profit would bring.
---Bloodiest
Matches---
---Majick vs. Magic---
Fortune: Coming up folks is a match that the newcomer, Majick has been waiting for. Majick challenged Magic to a No DQ stipulation and Magic accepted. Let me tell you folks this one has got all the fans buzzing about what will be a brutal contest!
Hunt: Magic will finally have to put up or shuttup, as the young lion is looking to make his own history of the name that they share!
Fortune: You are correct on that point, Alex! It was last week on Manslaughter that Majick joined the new Bad Company and all three men laid out Firefly, Smooth, and Magic. Tonight, however, it is one on one and all rules are thrown out the window! We have a Falls Count Anywhere/No DQ match and I expect it to be a brutal and violent conflict between these two men!
"Take A Look Around" by Limp Bizkit starts to play; however after a few minutes Magic has not come out.
Fortune: Well sorry fans I.... I... don’t know what the delay is, wait a minute!!
The Zero-tron shows the back where a security camera shows Majick has jumped Magic in his dressing room.
Fortune: Well Fans looks like this one is starting in the back let’s see if we can get a roving camera crew back there, as Majick is pulverizing Magic! Okay we got an actual crew back there now. Looks like Majick is just relentlessly feeding Magic his fists! I don’t even see the referee yet!
Hunt: Who Cares! We want Blood!
Fortune: Well Looks like your going to get it Hunt, as Magic is already wearing the proverbial crimson mask and I don’t think this is official yet! Well now it is! As a referee has finally gotten back to gauge the damage! The referee is trying to get this one back into the ring.
Hunt: Why?!! It’s Falls Count Anywhere!!
Fortune: I don’t know, he just is!
Majick is picking the prone body of Mink up now, snap suplex right through the coffee table that was in Mink’s dressing room! Majick drags Magic out of the dressing room. Smashing Magic’s head along the way into whatever is there!
Fortune: Magic's valet, Steph, is there! What is she doing?!
Steph: Get your hands off him you f*cked up freak!
Hunt: Ooooh,I don’t think she should be in there Alex, but her mouth shouldn’t write cheques her A$$ can’t cash! As it looks like Majick has turned his focus on to Steph!
Fortune: Shut up! But indeed he is stalking Steph, who is running backwards. Where are they going?? Looks like they are coming out our way!
The fans are booing Majick as he is stalking this helpless girl! Out comes Magic with a steel chair to Majick’s back! He is working the lower back of Majick and now Magic tells Steph to get the hell outta there!
Hunt: Stupid Broad, should have bounced her goodies somewhere else! We must be in Bizarro world tonight Kandi, as the one wrestling move that has been executed tonight has been by Majick the whole new show, while the chair wielding has been done by the old show,Magic!
Fortune: Glad you can pick up irony Hunt. As Magic now drops the chair....
Hunt: Big Mistake....
Fortune: Anyway Magic drops the chair, and picks Majick up and brings him closer to the ring! He Smashes Majick’s head into the canvas! and rolls him in! Wow we are finally in the ring!! Magic Irish whips Majick into the ropes and bounces off the nearest ropes and executes a nice swinging neck breaker! Well there goes your Bizzaro theory Alex! As Magic now in control scoop slams Majick and plants him on the mat. drops down and locks in a rear chinlock. The referee checks on Majick’s condition. Majick seems to be in a daze yet focused... If that makes sense! Magic is such a smart technician as obviously he is slowing down the pace so he can recuperate from that savage beating he took in the back, and is trying to regain his bearings while slowing down Majick.
Hunt: Isn’t this just a rest move??
Fortune: Shut Up Alex! As Magic now gets up and brings Majick to his feet, Magic whips Majick to the ropes again and tries a Drop Kick............ but NO! Majick has enough sense to hang on to the ropes and bail out of the ring to get a rest. Magic is slow to get up after the failed drop kick, Majick now is looking underneath the ring apron for something I haven’t a clue what. Magic has rolled to the outside of the ring now and is running from behind to attack Majick. Magic comes in running with and axe handle smash which connects with Majick but the momentum sends Magic crashing into the ring post as well! Both men are out!
Fortune: This match has been making a legend of it’s own with the brutality that has been enacted to the delight of the fans. Both men are starting to stir, as Magic is trying to get up as well as Majick. Magic rolls into the ring. While Majick is trying to shake the cobwebs out outside, and is continuing to look under the ring apron. Magic grabs him by the hair and drags him up to the ring apron, Majick replies with a shot to the gut and snaps an arm bar on Magic with the ropes as leverage! Brilliant! Majick now wrenches on the arm as Magic grunts in pain, Majick follows through with a heel kick laying out Magic in the ring! Majick hops off the apron and continues looking under the ring! Finally he drags out a table but he is still looking! Well he just said umm I can’t say that on television but you it rhymes with huck it! and proceeds to grab a steel chair!
Hunt: Fu..
Fortune: Shut your mouth! Well Looks like Majick wants to return some of those chair shots Magic presented him with earlier! Majick winds up to hammer Magic but, Magic counters with a shoulder to the gut and a fireman’s carry! The fans are really into this one now, as Magic picks up the chair now and swings at a confused looking Majick but NO! Majick was just faking as he ducks out of the way and OH MY! BLACK MIST! BLACK MIST! Right into the eyes of Magic he can’t see! Now Majick nails him with a sweep out DDT! He is going for a pin! 1 ..... 2 ....NO!
Hunt: With all this action I forgot that this match has to end in a pinfall!
Fortune: These two have really put their bodies on the line. Majick now is upset but rolls outside! Why? OH wait...he is setting up that table to the delight of some beserk fans! A Tables chant is going as Majick is forgetting he is a heel and grinning deviously on the Apron giving Magic time to get up and try and clear his eyes of the Black Mist. Magic now runs to the Top Rope! WHEELKICK off the Top!! CRUNCH!!!! AND Majick THROUGH THE TABLE!!!! Magic is down too however as that move took a lot out of both of them. Can Magic go for a cover here??... Magic is wasting a lot of time! Finally Magic drapes an arm over Majick’s chest! This could be it! 1 ....... 2 ...............OH MY NO!!! KICK OUT by Majick! What a show these two are putting on tonight!
Hunt: These fans are definitely cheering loudly as the bloodied Magic and Majick have put on a show of epic proportions! GZW must be trying to shoot themselves in the foot by giving away this awesome match on free TV!!!
Fortune: Well Free or not this has been a delight and we still aren’t finished as finally these two men are trying to get up they are trading blows now, lefts and rights being exchanged as Magic gets the upper hand and tosses Majick back in the ring. Magic now trying to Capitalize as he gets in the ring and lays the boots to Majick he picks Majick up oh looks like a Tombstone Piledriver!!! OH MY Wait just a second as Majick is balancing in the air as wriggles out clockwise landing on his feet and thwarts Magic’s Tombstone Piledriver idea with a knee to the gut. Majick is setting up for something of his own what’s this ?? Looks like a POWERSLAM!! Majick has Magic in the air just hanging there! Magic tries to grab on for a counter but NO!! Spiked Down to the Canvas! Stalling Powerslam by Majick and he goes for the cover! 1 ..... 2 ...... NO Kickout by Magic!
Hunt: That count was kinda slow!!
Fortune: I don’t know but the way they are going I don’t know if there is an end in sight!! Majick rolls out of the ring now and again is searching under the apron!!! What the heck is he looking for???? Majick now stops looking but is smiling deviously again, he rolls into the ring and starts stomping on Magic. Majick picks Magic up now and Irish whips him to the ropes....Magic bounces back and Majick snaps in a Fujiwara Arm Bar!! Majick has it cinched in! Magic however is fighting it off he grabs for the ropes but......
Hunt: No ROPE BREAK in Falls Count Anywhere!!!
Fortune: Indeed!! Magic now shifting his weight and clubbing at Majick trying to break the hold! But it’s Magic’s arm that may be broken!! Magic shifts around and rakes Majick’s eyes!
Hunt: Well it looks like the Desert Storm had to take a shortcut!
Fortune: Hey some things just have to be done to get over and the rules are out the window here! Magic gets up and is favoring his arm, but shoots down and takes Majick out at the knee, now in a fluid motion flips him over for the Boston Crab!!! Wow Magic is really wrenching it in!!!!! Majick is in visible pain, but he rolls on to his side and grabs at Magic’s Leg...Majick struggles to get it but does and trips up Magic breaking the Boston Crab! Majick now grabs Magic and Slingshots him into the ropes, Magic bounces back and counters with an elbow to face!! Majick goes down!! The fans are chanting for another table, and it looks like Magic is getting caught up in it! What’s he doing!!??! Magic just tossed Majick out in our direction. Oh No
Hunt: Please! Not our Table!! He’s not listening to us Kandi!!
Fortune: Indeed Alex! Magic has spread Majick out on our announce table!! Looks like he is going up top!!
Hunt: This could be for a Moonsault Finisher! If he connects Majick is done!!
Fortune: Magic is taking his time! Playing the crowd! The fans have really been an X Factor in tonight's match!! Majick is starting to stir and is getting up Magic catches this and tries and Hot Cross Body to stop him but Majick gets out of the way and Magic goes Crashing into Our TABLE!! DAMN!! Majick smiles and goes underneath the apron again!! OH MY GOD! It’s a Barbwired Baseball bat!! Why does he need that?!! Magic is out! Why doesn’t he just cover him??!!
Hunt: He just wants to inflict pain and he is just swinging that bat with out remorse! Look at Magic wither in pain as the barbedwire is cutting up his flesh!
Fortune: The referee is helpless to stop this and Majick finally stops swinging and just jabs the bat into Magic’s throat! and puts a foot on Magic's chest! How cocky! The referee reluctantly counts 1 .... 2 .... 3 DAMN!!
Hunt: This has been a brutal conflict and as much as Magic trained and got prepared Majick just had the advantage in his own match! Hell he pulled out that deadly bat to top it off!
Fortune: Indeed this one will go down as one of the bloodiest in GZW history fans we still have plenty of more action on Monday Manslaughter!!
---Back
on the set---
Pike: On September 3rd Magic was the
Heavyweight Champion and did he ever have a huge bullseye on his back. Not only
did he have to contend with three former champions, “Firefly” Sho Murakame,
T-Rex, and Sincere, but the man who seemed destined to hold the belt, Wicked
Ways, were breathing heavily down his back. Everywhere Magic turned Wicked Ways
made his presence felt So the Booking Committee decided to try to settle this
by booking all five men in a Five way Heavyweight Championship match.
Holly: On a scale of 1 to 10 on the classic
meter this definitely ranks up there as a ten, Memphis.

---Main
Event: Five Way Heavyweight Championship Match: Sincere vs. “The Enforcer” T-Rex vs. “The Fairplay
Enforcer” Firefly vs. Wicked Ways vs. “Desert Storm” Magic---
Fortune: Here we go! Unplug your phones, turn off all cell phones and pagers, it's time for the five-way GZW World Title match!
Hunt: Oh boy! I can't wait! History will be made tonight!
The lights dim as Firefly makes his way down to the ring to “Fire” by Prodigy. The fans are on their feet as the exciting superstar walks down the aisle towards what could be, the second greatest night of his GZW career.
As FF loosens up in the corner, pulling on the ring ropes, the lights go out. The fans buzz in anticipation. As the lights go back on, the 7' 4", 487pound Wicked Ways stands in the ring.
“Sprach Zarathrusta” by Richard Strauss comes on and Sincere makes his way down the rampway to a chorus of boos. Sincere steps into the ring, looking cautiously at Ways, smirking at FF.
Fortune: These two are one sick, twisted and scary duo!
With just the three in the ring so far, Ways and Sincere do not wait to start the match. The two double team FF, pummeling him with punches, forearms, and stomps.
Fortune: Wicked Ways and Sincere are starting this one, with or without the other two men!
Running down the aisle, waiting to get a piece of the action are T-Rex and the Heavyweight Champion, Magic.
Fortune: The Enforcer and the Desert Storm are hightailing it to the ring to help out their friend, “The Fairplay Enforcer” Firefly!
Hunt: Just like last week, Firefly is getting the hell beat out of him! With all the talk on GZW TV this past week, I wouldn’t really call Firefly and Magic friends!
Rex and Magic slide into the ring and take the fight to the rulebreakers, with Rex hammering Ways with right hands and Magic punching Sincere. Rex with a clothesline near the ropes, sends Ways over the rope and down to the floor. Magic grabs Sincere by the head and tosses him over the top rope and down to the floor as well.
Fortune: Out goes both Wicked Ways and Sincere!
As FF gets up to his feet in the ring, Rex and Magic look at each other, both friends standing face to face. Magic winds back and hammers Rex with right hands. Rex also fires right hands of his own, both men trading blows. Magic with a rake to the eyes to gain the advantage. Irish whip by Magic, reversal by Rex. Magic comes off the ropes. Rex with a hiptoss takes down the Desert Storm. Magic gets up to his feet. FF comes over and nails Magic with a dropkick, sending him out of the ring.
Fortune: Out goes Magic!
As Ways, Sincere, and Magic are on the floor, Rex and FF look at each other. FF with several knife edge chops to the chest of the much taller Rex. Irish whip by FF. FF goes to hiptoss Rex coming off the ropes. But The Enforcer blocks it, and instead, clotheslines the hell out of FF with his free arm.
Fortune: Listen to these fans! They are definitely into this match!
Hunt: That little punk Firefly thought he could hiptoss T-Rex!
Rex lifts up FF to his feet. Irish whip by Rex. FF bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline. Instead of bouncing back off the far ropes, FF leaps over the top rope and wipes out Ways on the floor with a suicide dive.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!
Hunt: You better save those "Holy Jazmin Andrea's" because you might say that a lot in this match!
As Ways and FF are laid out on the floor, Sincere and Magic slide into the ring. The two make a temporary alliance, double teaming Rex.
Fortune: Look at Sincere and Magic go to work on T-Rex! Vicious punches and kicks, beating him like a dog!
Hunt: I never thought I’d see the day that the Jade Dragon would help the little punk, Magic!
The two men lift up Rex and drop him with a double vertical suplex. Sincere then blatantly chokes Rex across the throat with his bare hands as Magic stomps on Rex.
Meanwhile on the floor, FF lifts Ways up to his feet. FF with several right hands to the large cranium of the massive superstar. FF goes for an Irish whip, but Ways reverses, sending FF crashing hard into the steel steps, sending the steps flying.
Hunt: Boom! Wicked gets the strike!
With FF laying in pain, clutching his shoulder, Ways steps into the ring. Sincere releases his choke on Rex. The two rulebreakers look at Magic as if they were two hungry wolves and he was a deer. Magic yells at the two to “bring it on!” Sincere and Ways, like two piranhas, jump on Magic, hammering him down to the mat with clubbing forearms.
Fortune: Wicked Ways and Sincere are seriously beating the crap out of Magic!
Hunt: They sure are working well together since they are both after the same thing---the Heavyweight title!
The rulebreakers whip Magic to the corner. Ways whips Sincere into the corner, Sincere with a clothesline in the corner. Sincere then whips Ways into the corner, Ways flattening Magic with a splash in the corner. Magic drops face first to the mat.
With Magic on the mat, Sincere climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Ways goes over to the corner and grabs Sincere, as if he was going to press slam him. Ways tosses Sincere across the ring and Sincere comes crashing down on the chest of Magic with an "assisted" diving headbutt.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! I've never seen that before!
Hunt: That's a UFS! Unidentified Flying Sincere!
As Sincere goes to lift up Magic, Rex gets up to his feet and attacks Sincere from behind with punches. As Sincere and Rex brawl in the corner, Ways goes to lift Magic to his feet. But Magic with the lowblow gains a temporary advantage. Magic goes for an Irish whip, but it is reversed by Ways. Magic comes off the ropes and gets nothing but a face full of boot.
Fortune: Wicked Ways with the massive big boot to the kisser!
Hunt: When will people realize that it is impossible to Irish whip Wicked Ways?
As Sincere is choking Rex in the corner with a boot across the throat, Ways sets up Magic for a powerbomb. Magic is lifted high in the air over the shoulders of Wicked Ways.
Fortune: Wait! Firefly is up and he's climbing to the top turnbuckle!
With Magic on the shoulders of Ways just moments away from a powerbomb, FF leaps off the turnbuckle and clotheslines Magic off the shoulders of an unexpecting Wicked Ways.
Fortune: Firefly with an unorthodox save to Magic!
Hunt: Hmmm! Clothesline from the Bugboy or a massive powerbomb from Wicked Ways? I see your point, Kandi!
Ways, angry at FF for interrupting his powerbomb, charges at FF with a clothesline. FF ducks. Ways turns around. FF with a dropkick, wobbles the big man.
Fortune: Wicked is still up!
FF with another dropkick, but Ways is still standing. Magic gets up to his feet. FF nails another dropkick as Magic adds a low leg sweep finally taking down the big man.
Fortune: What a combo by Magic and Firefly! Firefly with the dropkick and Magic with the leg sweep to take out the legs!
Magic then mounts the chest of the fallen giant and pummels him with a flurry of punches. Meanwhile, Sincere lifts Rex out of the corner and hammers him with right hands. Irish whip by Sincere. Sincere drops his head down for a back body drop. Rex comes off the ropes, puts on the brakes and capitalizes with a quick DDT, driving Sincere's head to the mat.
Rex with the cover on Sincere, but it is broken up by FF.
Rex and FF look at each other, tempers flaring. FF with a shove. Rex comes back with a shove of his own. The two men then explode, trading fast and furious punches.
Fortune: All hell has broken loose!
Hunt: That’s what I’m talking about, Kandi!
Magic, seeing the two go at it, gets up off of Ways. Being the opportunist, Magic sneaks up on both men, then charge at them, going to clothesline both of them. But Rex and FF turn to Magic and both men with back elbows to the face, drop the current Heavyweight Champion.
Fortune: Down goes Magic!
Rex and FF turn their attention to the current GZW World Champ. Both men whip Magic to the ropes. Rex and FF drop down for a double back body drop. But Magic bounces off the ropes and hops over both of them. Magic bounces off the far ropes and clotheslines both Rex and FF.
Hunt: Look at these goody goodies go at it! It gets no better than this!
Magic lifts FF up off the mat and tosses him out of the ring. Sincere, who was in the corner regaining his energy, goes to the floor to attack FF. Back in the ring, Magic lifts up Rex and drops him to the mat with a double arm suplex. As the fans are on their feet chanting for Rex, Magic lifts him up to his feet. Irish whip by Magic. Rex bounces off the ropes. Magic with a back elbow drops Rex to the mat.
As Wicked Ways gets up to his feet, Magic lifts up Rex. Magic with a rear waistlock, has Rex set up for a German suplex. But Ways gets behind Magic and applies a rear waistlock on Magic.
Fortune: What is this?
Ways, who has Magic in a rear waistlock, lifts Magic in a German suplex, as Magic still has Rex in a rear waistlock, resulting in a three man, double German suplex.
Fortune: Great Stephon Elijah! Wicked with a release German suplex on Magic as Magic also with a release German suplex on T-Rex! This is insane! It's like a car wreck in the ring!
Hunt: But it looks like Wicked came out unscathed!
Ways drags the bodies of Magic and Rex, laying them side by side on the mat as Sincere is pummeling FF with right hands on the Coliseum floor. Ways bounces off the ropes and...
Fortune: The End (big splash) on both Magic and T-Rex! Ohmigosh!
Ways with the cover on both Magic and Rex simultaneously.
1…2…
Fortune: Kick out by both men!
Ways yells out to Sincere. The Jade Dragon leaves FF bloodied on the floor and slides into the ring. Rex and Magic both get up slowly to their feet. Ways with double clotheslines drops both men back down. Sincere lines up both men side by side on the mat again. Ways lifts up Sincere in a gorilla press...
Hunt: This can't be good!
Ways pushes Sincere up in the air. Sincere comes dropping down on Magic and Rex. Sincere lays on both men for the cover.
Fortune: Sincere with the pin!
1…
Fortune: And Wicked Ways pulls Sincere off of them!
Hunt: No! Work together to wipe the mat with these good guy punks!
Ways lifts Sincere up to his feet. Sincere stands face to face with his large opponent.
Fortune: Looks like the union of Sincere and Wicked Ways is coming to an end!
The two begin to exchange blows in the center of the ring. Meanwhile, the fans are on their feet as FF has climbed up to the top turnbuckle.
Fortune: Look! There's Firefly! He's been out for a while since being busted open by Sincere out on the floor earlier!
Neither men see FF as he leaps off and nails Sincere with a missile dropkick, sending Sincere out of the ring.
Fortune: What hangtime on that missile dropkick!
As Sincere gets up on the floor, FF gets on the apron. FF with a kick to Sincere's chest, stunning him. FF hops onto the middle rope and wipes out Sincere with an asai moonsault.
Fortune: Firefly with that trademark high risk offense!
FF sits on Sincere's chest on floor, raining down right hands to the head. Meanwhile in the ring, Ways stands near the ropes, yelling at Sincere to get back up. Magic and Rex get back up to their feet. The two men sneak up behind Ways, lifts him up and drops the big man with a double belly to back suplex.
Fortune: It took two men to drop Wicked Ways with that belly to back!
Hunt: It will take the whole roster to defeat him!
With the big man down on the mat, Rex and Magic each grab a leg and make a wish, each man pulling on a leg, ripping at the "tender regions" of the massive Ways.
Hunt: Ouchie!
As the fans are going wild, Rex turns to Magic and just clothesline the hell out of Magic.
Fortune: Listen to these fans erupt!
Rex lifts up Magic to his feet. Rex unleashes stiff right hands, rocking the head of Magic. Irish whip by Rex. T-Rex catches Magic coming off the ropes and drives him down with a spinebuster.
Fortune: What a ring rattler!
Rex lifts Magic up to his feet. Rex with a kick to the midsection doubles Magic over at the waist. Rex bounces off the ropes and drops a wicked ax kick to the back of Magic's head.
Hunt: Yes! Friends don’t let friends drive drunk! Hell, friends don’t let friends have the Heavyweight Championship!
Rex looks to the crowd as he calls for the Extinction (reverse powerbomb). Rex lifts up Magic onto his shoulders. FF, seeing what the fans are cheering for, gets off of Sincere and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. FF leaps off and nails Rex in the chest with a dropkick than drops Rex backwards, which results in Magic being slammed backward onto the mat.
Fortune: An inadvertent assist by Firefly! Firefly with the dropkick knocked T-Rex backwards, which dropped Magic flat on his back!
FF gets on top of Magic for the cover.
1…2…
Fortune: Broken up by Wicked Ways!
Ways lifts up FF and clubs him with forearms. Irish whip by Ways. FF bounces off the ropes and ducks a Ways clothesline. FF bounces off the far ropes and leaps at Ways, going for a cross body. But Ways catches him and drops him across his knee with a rib breaker. Ways, still holding onto FF, stands up and drops the Fairplay Enforcer with a fallaway slam.
Angle: Ohmigosh! He tossed Firefly like a small child!
Hunt: So you go around tossing small children, Kandi?
The massive Ways lifts FF up to his feet. Ways grasps FF by the throat, lifts him high in the air...
Fortune: And down with a vicious chokeslam! Wicked Ways with the cover! We could have a new champ!
1…2…
Fortune: Broken up by T-Rex!
Rex lifts Ways up to his feet and blasts him with right hands. Irish whip by Rex, reversal by Ways. Ways catches Rex bouncing off the ropes and locks in...
Hunt: A bearhug! Wicked Ways with his massive arms, squeezing the very life out of him! I'm sorry T-Rex! Oooo! I am for real!
As Ways locks in the bearhug, Magic gets up to his feet. The Champ gets behind Ways and nails the big man in the "lower extremities" with a low blow. Ways releases Rex from the bearhug. Magic grabs Ways by the mask and tosses the giant over the top rope and out onto the Coliseum floor.
Fortune: Check the Richter Scale on that one!
As Sincere and Ways try to regroup on the floor and as FF slowly gets up in the ring, Magic and Rex, in the ring, start to unload punches on each other. Each man, firing off rapid rights and lefts. But it's The Enforcer who gains the upperhand, rocking Magic's head back with rapid fire rights.
Fortune: The current World Champion is reeling!
Rex with an Irish whip, reversed by Magic. Rex comes off the ropes and ducks a clothesline by Magic. Rex rebounds off the far ropes and absolutely nails Magic with a spear.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! T-Rex with the spear! That must have given Magic whiplash!
With Magic on the mat, Rex looks to the crowd. Rex climbs up to the top turnbuckle and...
Fortune: T-Rex is walking the top rope! Is he going for a rope walk elbow drop?
Hunt: Isn’t that some old dudes “ol’school” move?
But Rex's rope walk is cut short as Ways gets up on the floor. Ways grabs Rex by the ankle and yanks him down. Rex comes crashing down to the steel guardrail.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a hideous bump taken by T-Rex! He went from walking the top rope to straight down to the steel rail!
Ways lifts Rex up on the floor and just beats down on the fallen fan favorite. Meanwhile, Magic is still down on the mat. FF looks to capitalize on the situation. The high flyer climbs up to the top turnbuckle.
Fortune: Firefly is going up top! We could be seeing the Napalm Bomb!
Hunt: Damn that little meddler!
As FF tries to balance himself on the top rope, Sincere climbs up to the apron and pulls apart the legs of FF. He falls onto the top turnbuckle and gets crotched.
Hunt: Oopsy! Firefly fell on his little fairplay balls!
With FF on the top turnbuckle, Sincere gets in the ring, then climbs up to the top turnbuckle as well. Sincere hooks both of FF's arms...
Fortune: Double arm DDT off the top by Sincere! This could do it! Firefly is out! Sincere with the cover!
1...2....
Fortune: Magic breaks up the count! What action!
A weary Magic lifts Sincere up to his feet. Magic with several European uppercuts to the head of Sincere. Irish whip by Magic, reversal by Sincere. Magic bounces off the ropes. Sincere goes to scoop up Magic, but Magic floats over and lands behind him. Sincere turns around, only to get kicked in the midsection, followed by....
Fortune: A stunner! Magic with the cover!
1…
Hunt: No!
2...
Fortune: Three! Magic has retained his GZW Heavyweight Championship!
Hunt: That little punk got lucky!
Hearing the bell sound, Ways turns his attention away from beating on Rex and looks to the ring to see Magic's hand raised in victory. A furious Ways, as quickly as a 7' 4", 487 lbs man can move, slides into the ring. Magic grabs the belt away from Ref Dark and leaves the ring. Magic makes his way back up the ramp with the belt held high. The irate big man grabs the top rope and rips it out in fury.
Fortune: “The Desert Storm” Magic is still the GZW World Champion! He has final legitimized his reign as the GZW Heavyweight Champion!
Hunt: Soon very soon Magic is going to feel the wickedness of Wicked Ways!
The show closes as the camera zooms in on Magic, standing on the stage area with the belt raised in victory. Behind him, the Zero-tron shows a roaring Wicked Ways.
---Back on the set---
Holly: Finally we
get to see one of my favorite wrestlers. “The GiantKiller” Fubu, later to be
known as Jason Makavelli, won the hearts of all the fans by has never say quit
attitude and his devotion to the fans. Not only was a champion among champions
but he proven time and time again that the good guys do finish in the end. Good
luck in whatever you’re doing, J-Mack.
Pike: In a Triple
Threat match on the 10th of September, Fubu claimed his status as
the GZW “GiantKiller” by holding onto his Television title. The little man went
on and retired from the sport as an undefeated champion.
---Greatest Classic Feuds---
---Triple Threat Match: Television Champship Match: Dameon vs. Maxx Pain vs. Fubu---
Fortune:
Three men will enter the ring, but only one will come out the GZW Television
Champion. Will it be Maxx Pain, Dameon or the current TV Champ, Fubu? Whoever
it is, they will have to be on their game tonight!
Pain comes to the ring to a huge heel pop. A fan’s sign reads, “Today might be
your birthday, but you’re not going to win the TV title!” Another sign reads,
“Pain, fight someone your own size--Wicked Ways!!”
Dameon comes out next to "Kryponite" by Three Doors Down. The fans
shower the former TV Champion with a mixed reaction of cheers and boo.
Fortune: Seems kind of weird to hear the fans cheer for Dameon!
Hunt: Dameon sucks just like his pathetic two sons, Hades and Magic!
”Rap Superstar” by Cypress Hill rocks the Coliseum as the Television Champion
makes his way down the rampway with the TV title belt around his waist. The
crowd cheers wildly for the exciting performer.
Fortune: Fubu has a lot of momentum going into this match. He is coming off
impressive wins against both his opponents over the past two weeks!
Hunt:
Fubu’s time is up! Time for him to look for another profession as Maxx Pain is
going to end his career tonight!
All three men are in the ring and the match begins. Fubu starts off the match
with a flipping dropkick on Dameon. Pain charges at Fubu, but Fubu takes him
down with a hiptoss. Dameon gets back up and nails Fubu from behind with a
double ax handle. Pain gets up and joins Dameon in hammering Fubu. They whip
Fubu to the ropes. Dameon and Pain join hands to attempt a double clothesline.
Fubu holds onto the ropes. Pain, while still holding Dameon's hand, turns and
clotheslines Dameon.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! He really clotheslined the snot out of him!
Hunt: Make them feel your pain, Maxx!
Pain drops several forearm blows to the back of Dameon's head. Pain lifts up
Dameon and hits a chokeslam. Fubu joins the action with a quick leg drop on
Dameon. Pain gets behind Fubu and hooks him in a reverse German suplex. But as
Pain lifts him, Fubu flips out and lands on his feet. Pain turns around and
Fubu greets him with a spinning heel kick to the chest. Dameon gets up. Dameon
and Fubu form a temporary alliance. They stomp on Pain. They whip him to the
ropes. Both Dameon and Fubu charge in and send Pain flying over the top rope
with double dropkicks.
Fortune: Dameon and Fubu said they were going to double team Maxx Pain!
Pain slowly gets to all fours on the floor. In the ring, Dameon armdrags Fubu
over. Fubu gets back up and gets a kick in the gut. Dameon hits a swinging
neckbreaker. Dameon goes to the apron.
He goes for a springboard legdrop, but Fubu gets out of the way. Fubu gets up
and stomps on Dameon. Whip to the ropes by Fubu. Pain pulls the top rope,
causing Dameon to fall to the outside. Pain pummels Dameon with punches.
Fubu, not one to be left out, runs to the ropes and hits a slingshot plancha
onto both Pain and Dameon. The fans chant for Fubu. The Champ picks up Pain and
slams his face into the steel steps.
Fortune: Though there has only been two TV Champions, I believe that Fubu has
been the greatest of champions so far!
Hunt: Good way to stay unbiased, Kandi!
Fubu rolls the huge Pain back into the ring. Punches by Fubu. Irish whip by Fubu,
but it is reversed. Pain goes for a clothesline, but Fubu ducks. Fubu bounces
back off the ropes and nails a spear. Fubu goes up top. He nails Pain with a

Dameon comes in to break up the count. Dameon whips Fubu, but Fubu reverses.
Fubu hits a hurricanranna. Dameon gets up. Fubu kicks him in the gut and hits
an evenflow DDT. Fubu sets up Dameon on the top rope for a top rope
frankensteiner. Fubu gets on the top turnbuckle, but Pain gets to his feet and
hits Fubu in the lower back with a forearm shot. Pain puts Fubu on his
shoulders. Dameon regains his senses and stands on the top rope. Dameon jumps
and clotheslines Fubu off of Pain's shoulders.
Fortune: GREAT STEPHON ELIJAH!
Fubu
is laying in the ring. Pain goes for the cover, but Dameon tosses him off.
Dameon picks up Fubu, but Pain lowblows him from behind. Pain locks Dameon's
head and hits a reverse DDT. Fubu regains his senses, starts to unload punches
on Pain. Irish whip by Fubu. He charges in and flying clotheslines Pain out of
the ring. Meanwhile, Dameon slides out of the ring, garbs a beer from a crowd
member, and slides back into the ring. Dameon turns around only to have Fubu
take the beer can away from him. Fubu kicks Dameon in the gut, stunning him.
Fubu shakes up the beer can and shakes it in Dameon's face. Fubu lifts Dameon
and hits a jumping piledriver. Fubu sees Pain getting to his feet on the apron.
Fubu runs to him, flips over him in a sunset flip and powerbombs him to the floor.
Fortune: Listen to these fans!
Hunt:
That little Fubu is a one man wrecking crew!
Pain is laying on the floor. Fubu gets back into the ring. Dameon slowly gets
up and charges Fubu with a clothesline. Fubu ducks. Fubu lands several punches.
Fubu whips Dameon to the corner, but it is reversed. As Fubu gets to the
corner, he hops on the top turnbuckle and hits a moonsault onto a charging
Dameon. Fubu hooks the leg.

Fortune: Three! Fubu again retains the GZW Television Title!
Fubu stands on the turnbuckle, holding the TV Title belt. The fans are going
crazy.
---Commercial
Break---
Following the break, Holly and Pike are once
again sitting behind the desk chatting. Both have on t-shirts that have “JUST
SAY NO TO DRUGS” on the front of it.
Pike: Next up will be the debut match from the
17th of September of the man from the DeathPit. Pitfighter came into
the GZW with such an impact that it rubbed the whole roster raw. Not due to his
wrestling ability or mic skills, but due to the fact Pitfighter was a strong
advocate of marijuana use.
Holly: Of course GZW takes a hardline stance
against drug abuse by any of its members and staff. So like the shirts say
kids, “JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS”!!
Pike: Following this match will be a debut of
Adam Cage. On the 8th of October, the man that would come to share
the Extreme Championship with Pitfighter stepped into the ring with
Giggles/Wylder.
Holly: Yeah, and my favorite wrestler finally
got his first victory. Of course it was due to interference by Deacon Kane, it
was still marked in the record books as a win. I was just thinking about your
uncanny resemblance to Giggles/Wylder.
Pike: Let’s get on with the show!
---Classical
Debuts---
---Debut Match: Pitfighter vs. Giggles/Wylder---
Fortune: Starting the show off will be the debut of PitFighter against a new charged Giggles/Wylder!
Hunt: Seems with Mr.Profit around Giggles or Wylder has been very vocal on GZW Television!
G/W walks from the back to the entranceway and walks straight to the ring, threatening random fans on the way trying to intimidate them. The fans respond with finger points and hostile gestures, as they don’t seem to be intimidated by him at all. G/W gets in the ring and awaits his opponent.
Pitfighter, newcomer to the GZW, walks out with a very focused look upon his face followed by his manager, Mystik. The crowd looks on as whispers and mumbles fill the arena as this 5’9” well built man paces down the aisle, never taking his eyes off his raving lunatic of an opponent who has started to try to dance in the ring for some reason. The fans in the aisle are hesitant to place out their hands to this newcomer, as Pit doesn’t seem to notice them anyway. Pit climbs in the ring and the bell sounds.
G/W walks up to Pit and stands in his face, looking down to the smaller man as Pit looks up to G/W. G/W, not liking this un-intimidated rookie throws his fist and connects with a stiff right hook to Pit’s jaw. Pitfighter doesn’t move but to turn his face. Pitl focused look turns into a look of rage, as G/W stands motionless like a headlight struck deer. Pit levels the stunned G/W with a standing lariat, almost spinning the man full circle before he crashes onto the mat.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!
Pit stands over his opponent laying in the middle of the ring and kicks him right on his head. Pit grabs G/W by his beard and makes him stand. Pit lifts G/W up, over his head into a gorilla press, and drops him face first down to the mat.
Walking methodically back to G/W, Pit lifts him to his feet again. Pit whips G/W into the ropes. G/W returns and is destroyed with a belly to belly suplex. Pit gets to G/W and begins to stomp down on his head.
Hunt: This Pitfighter guy is one mean fighter!
Fortune: I think his name says it all!
After numerous hard stomps, Pit stands G/W once again. Pit throws G/W again to the ropes and crushes him with a devastating spear as G/W returns. Pit quickly climbs to the nearby turnbuckle. He stares down at G/W for a moment and leaps off high in the air, and crushes G/W with a guillotine leg drop.
Pitfighter stands his finished opponent and lets him wobble. Pit crashes his hand into G/W’s neck with a chop, and then sends G/W’s head into the mat with a DDT.
Fortune: Talk about a headache!
Hunt: I don't think Giggles/Wylder can get up after that!
G/W lays motionless on the mat as Pit has proved that G/W is no match for him. Instead of pinning the long-bearded brawler, Pit stands him up again. Pit lifts G/W up into a bodyslam position and plants G/W in the corner turnbuckle in a tree of woe. Mystik reaches under the ring and pulls out a huge stop sign. He throws it to Pitfighter, who catches it and places it on the face of G/W.
Fortune: What is Pitfighter going to do here?
Hunt: I’m sure he isn’t about to stop like the sign says!
Pit runs to the opposite corner. He runs and does a tumbling dropkick onto the stop sign which is on G/W’s face. G/W slumps out of the corner onto his back. Pit arrogantly places one foot on the chest of G/W.
1…2…
Fortune: Three! Pitfighter dominates his first match here in the GZW!
Hunt: Domination is right! Don't overlook this newcomer, the mistake would be fatal!
---Classic
Debuts---
---Debut Match: Adam
Cage vs. Giggles/Wylder---
Fortune: Our first scheduled match of the night will be the GZW debut of Adam Cage! The booking committee has high hopes for this newcomer! And what of the sudden change in GZW’s resident split personality, Giggles/Wylder?
Hunt: It seems like a third more fan friendly persona has surfaced from the donut eating freak!
Adam Cage makes his way down the rampway as the fans get ready for the match. Cage steps in the ring.
G/W makes his way down the rampway to a loud chorus of cheers. G/W waves to the fans, a huge grin on his face.
Fortune: Never thought I would hear the day that Giggles/Wylder would be getting cheered!
Hunt: What a waste of talent!
The match starts as Cage attacks G/W with a drop kick, knocking him down. Cage picks him up and drops G/W with an inverted Russian leg sweep.
Fortune: A flurry of moves here by Adam Cage!
Hunt: Come on! Its’ just Giggles! Who hasn’t beaten him?
Cage picks up G/W and appears to be going for another inverted Russian leg sweep, but G/W fights out. G/W hooks Cage's head and drops him with a DDT. G/W then stomps on the fallen Cage. G/W then lifts up Cage to his feet when suddenly...
Fortune: Look who's coming down to ringside! It's Deacon Kane!
Hunt: A pissed off GZW World Champion Deacon Kane!
The big man stomps down the ramp. The fans are in a buzz over the presence of the massive monster. Deacon steps over the top rope and into the ring. G/W walks up to the big man, standing toe to toe.
Fortune: Giggles/Wylder’s newest persona has been all over the airwaves talking bad about the 7’4” 478lbs. Heavyweight Champion!
Deacon grabs G/W by the throat with one hand. He hoists up his former partner and slams him down hard to the mat.
Fortune: That's it! The Referee Sonny Bright is calling for the bell! Giggles/Wylder wins by DQ because Deacon Kane attacked him!
Hunt: Giggles’ new persona may think he's too good to be a part of Bad Influence, but he just may be a part of the ring as Deacon Kane just implanted him down into the mat!
Adam Cage gets in Deacon's face, possibly about ruining his match. The big man wraps his massive hands around Cage's throat as well.
Fortune: Cage likes to make references to feeling pain...well he's about to feel some now!
WHAM!!! Another huge chokeslam by Deacon sends Adam Cage down to the mat. The angry and downright nasty big man then steps over the top rope and exits the ring.
Fortune: I’m not quite sure what that is all about, but Deacon Kane is in one nasty mood!
---Back on the set---
Pike: In what many Internet fans
believe to be the greatest match ever broadcast on Monday Manslaughter, the
Last Man Standing/Loser Leave GZW match that took place on the 29th
of October between “Smooth Operator” Billy Bond and Deacon Kane saw what many
believe to be the end of Billy Bond.
Holly: All this came about due to
the fact that Billy won’t have his legs waxed by Pimp Bizkit on a Travesty
show. Come to think about it though I wouldn’t let that horn ball Pimp around
my legs either.
Pike: Well, John Profit and Tate
Troublesome were tired of Smooth’s disobedience so they awarded the Smooth
Operator a chance to win the GZW Heavyweight title but in the dreaded Last Man
Standing match. Not only was Smooth fighting for the greatest prize in our
history but for his professional career as well.
Holly: In its entirety, here is
the match which cemented Billy Bond as a GZW legend!!
---Greatest
Main Event Matches---
---Main Event: GZW
Heavyweight Championship: Last Man Standing/ Loser Leave GZW Match: “Smooth
Operator” Billy Bond vs. Deacon Kane---
Fortune: Our main event tonight will be another world famous GZW Last Man Standing Match between the Smooth Operator, Billy Bond and the GZW Heavyweight Champion, Deacon Kane. The rules are simple, if you can render your opponent unable to get up at the count of ten, they lose. We have had Last Man Standing matches in the past and they have been in a word: brutal!
Hunt: But not only is this for the top strap in the business, but that cheater Billy Bond will be fighting for his professional career in GZW! After Deacon renders Bond unable to get up, Billy boy will be pack his bags and that ugly chaise lounge and be getting the hell out of this company!
“Hair of the Dog” rips through the speakers as Deacon Kane strides down the rampway, Heavyweight title belt flung over his shoulder. The crowd is welcomes the Champion with boos and garbage. The biggest man in GZW steps over the top rope and throws the Heavyweight belt to Senior Referee Richard Dark.
Hunt: What kind of bologna is this! How come the Heavyweight Champ is getting introduced first?
Fortune: That is strange, Alex!
As Deacon stands in the center of the ring going on about how Smooth was not going to show up, simultaneously every light in the Coliseum dies and “Smooth Operator” breaks through the dark silence. A spotlight shines down from the rafters and centers on the now blackened Zero-tron, where repelling down from the top is a man dressed in full jungle camo. Gloves, Hat, Face Paint, and a M-16 slung over his shoulder. As he reaches the stage, he kneels down and pulls the rifle around. Crouches and aims directly at Deacon Kane...A laser beam from the muzzle area of the rifle shines down and hits Deacon directly between the eyes as the man pulls the trigger. The man then stands up and tosses the gun off the stage. He pulls off the hat and the recognizable long hair falls from underneath. Smooth tosses the hat to a young fan and charges down into the ring, prepared for one hell of a fight. As the lights go back on a fan's sign reads, “Time to Do or Die, Smooth!!”
Fortune: Billy Bond is ready for war!
Hunt (in a monotone voice): Yippee. Yo Joe!
Smooth runs to the ring, slides in under the bottom rope and takes the fight to Deacon. Smooth with stiff right hands and kicks. Smooth with an Irish whip. Deacon off the ropes. Smooth with a huge flying forearm smash. The fans pop as Deacon hits the mat hard. Smooth lifts up Deacon and beats him down in the corner with rapid fire punches. Smooth whips Deacon to the opposite corner. Smooth charges in, but Deacon gets a boot up catching Smooth in the face. With Smooth staggering, Deacon levels him with a running clothesline. Deacon then shows his vicious side as he stomps away on Smooth and then chokes him across the throat with his boot.
Hunt: Talk about boot camp!
Deacon lifts Smooth to his feet and takes him down with a gorilla press bodyslam. Deacon then goes to a blatant choke while looking to the booing fans.
Fortune: Deacon with a choke but everything is legal in this match!
Deacon lifts Smooth to his feet and whips him to the ropes. Smooth ducks a clothesline, bounces off the ropes and nails Deacon between the eyes with another flying forearm smash. Deacon slowly gets up and charges at Smooth. Smooth elevates him up and over the top rope, sending Deacon crashing to the floor.
Fortune: Deacon is in front of us!
Smooth goes up to the top turnbuckle, measuring up Deacon on the floor. Smooth takes flight, going for a double axhandle. But Deacon, who is near the announcing table, grabs a monitor off the table, turns around and smashes it in the face of Smooth as he is coming down.
Hunt: That's some 3-D television for you! Right in your face!
Deacon lifts up Smooth, who is bleeding profusely from the monitor shot to the face. Deacon whips him hard into the steel steps. Deacon then grabs some cables near the announcers and wraps them around Smooth's neck, choking him.
Fortune: I can’t believe that this could possible be the last match we ever see Billy Bond compete for in this company! I thought Tate was a businessman?
Hunt: Big deal about Billy Bond! There are plenty of great wrestlers here besides Smooth Legs!
Deacon stands above Smooth, choking the life out of him with the cables. Smooth crawls to the timekeeper's table and grabs the bell. He gets to his knees and with one mighty swing, smashes Deacon in the crotch with the ring bell.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a shot!
Deacon drops to the floor on his knees. Smooth unwraps the cables around his neck and then looks to the crowd. A fan at ringside hands Smooth a chair. Smooth waits for Deacon to get to one knee and then...BAM! BAM! BAM! Wicked chairshots from Smooth. Deacon falls to the floor. Smooth places the chair on the floor and then lifts up Deacon.
Fortune: Oh no! What is Billy going for here?
Smooth has Deacon’s head locked and then drops Deacon on his head on the chair with a DDT.
Fortune: OHMIGOSH!
Hunt: You can't do that to Deacon Kane!
Fortune: Well Alex, he just did!
With Deacon laying on the floor and Senior Ref Dark administering the ten count, Smooth tosses into the ring several chairs and the steel steps.
Fortune: Billy is doing some furniture rearranging and I am sure it won't be pretty for Deacon!
Deacon gets to his feet as Senior Ref Dark's count makes it to seven. Smooth with a chairshot and then rolls Deacon back into the ring. Smooth gets into the ring as the crowd cheers. Smooth barely lifts up Deacon in a suplex and then drops him right onto the chair. Smooth grabs his own back in pain and screaming.
Hunt: That what he gets for trying to manhandle a real man! Deacon isn’t that “shebeast” Crystal!
Smooth pushes away the pain and goes to lift Deacon to his feet, but Deacon manages to get in a quick low blow, stunning Smooth. Deacon gets back up and drops Smooth's head on the chair with a chokeslam.
Hunt: Yeah!
Deacon lifts up Smooth and slams him over into a seated position. Deacon grabs the steel steps that Smooth had tossed into the ring and slams them into the back of Smooth's head. Smooth lays on the mat, clutching the back of his head.
Fortune: Billy may have a concussion after that!
Hunt: Or worse, he might have his brain scrambled and he might reconsider before it’s too late!
Deacon lifts Smooth up from gets and locks in a reverse bearhug. Smooth struggles as Deacon tightens the hold. Smooth tries to fight out of it. Deacon quickly drops forward, smashing Smooth between the chair and himself. Deacon looks to the crowd and taunts them by pointing to their hero on the mat. Deacon then places Smooth on the steel steps in the ring and then places a chair on his face. Deacon then climbs up to the second turnbuckle.
Fortune: What is he going for now?
Hunt: Whatever it is, with Bond on the steps and a chair on his face, this is not going to be pretty!
Deacon stands on the middle turnbuckle, trying to maintain his balance as he is still woozy from the chairshots and the blows to the head. Deacon takes flight going for a legdrop, but Smooth gets up. Deacon comes crashing down onto the steel steps instead.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!
Smooth slowly tries to get to his feet and regain his second wind. Deacon lays on the mat clutching his leg. Smooth gets up, lifts up Deacon and unleashes stinging right hands. Smooth with a whip, reversed by Deacon. Deacon drops his head for a back body drop, but Smooth puts on the brakes and kicks Deacon in the chest. Deacon is slumped over. Smooth runs to the ropes, bounces off and nails Deacon in the back of the head with an ax kick.
Fortune: What a move from Billy!
Smooth then lifts up Deacon Kane to his knees. Smooth looks to the crowd as he sets up Deacon’s head between his legs. Smooth falls back holding Deacon’s tights and piledrives him right onto the steel steps.
Fortune: Come on Billy!
With Deacon laying on the steps clutching his head, Smooth places a chair on Deacon's back. Smooth climbs up to the top turnbuckle.
Fortune: Now what is he thinking about?
Smooth looks down at Deacon laying on the steps. Smooth then looks to the crowd. Smooth takes flight going for a senton bomb. But at the very last moment, Deacon gets out of the way. Smooth's senton hits nothing but steel steps.
Hunt: Just cause you dress like a survivor doesn’t mean you’re one!
Smooth lays on the mat, clutching his back even more now. Deacon pulls himself up using the ropes. Deacon goes to the floor and looks under the ring as Senior Ref Dark counts on Smooth. Deacon pulls out from under the ring a table.
Fortune: Looks as if the Heavyweight Champion found something!
Hunt: Just wondering, who keeps putting those things under the ring?
Deacon puts the table in the ring and sets it up over the steps. Now there is a table set up in the ring with steel steps under it. Smooth manages to beat the ten count as he slowly gets to his feet. Deacon goes over to him and punishes him with right hands. Deacon lifts Smooth and places him on the top turnbuckle. Deacon climbs up to the second.
Fortune: Oh no!!
With both men on the turnbuckles, Deacon lifts up Smooth and superplexes him through the table and onto the steel steps.
Fortune: Holy Jazmin Andrea!
Hunt: Screw what you just said! Holy shit!
Chants of "holy shit" and "G-Z-W" start up in the crowd. Smooth lays on the steps with bits of table everywhere. Deacon tries to get up, but fatigue is really setting in. Deacon gets to his feet and grabs a steel chair, waiting to see if Smooth will get up. The ref counts to six...seven...
Fortune: Billy's back can't possibly handle anymore!
Hunt: That's right! Hey Bond, keep your “arse” down!
Senior Ref dark reaches eight...and Smooth gets up. Deacon can't believe it. Deacon goes over to him and lands a wicked chairshot. Smooth falls to one knee. Deacon swings the chair one more time, this time like a baseball bat. Smooth drops to the mat hard. Deacon pulls Smooth's body to the center of the ring. Deacon then places a chair on Smooth's heart. Deacon then goes up to the second turnbuckle.
Fortune: He is going for an elbow drop! This would finish it!
Backstage within the dressing room of Smooth watching the monitor of the match is Magic, T-Rex, Jason Makavelli with Helen, and Diamond. Sitting on the couch is Crystal, tears streaming down her eyes, trying hard not to watch the fight as she peeks her head up from it being buried in Baz’s chest to look. Also in the room is Gideon, Nathaniel Davis and “Kool Hand” Luke LaVerne who’s hand is being squeezed extremely tight by Celestia “Mooncat” L’yark
Back in the ring, Deacon leaps off the turnbuckle, but Smooth manages to get a boot up and catches Deacon in the face. The fans erupt. Smooth slowly gets up as does Deacon. Smooth with right hands. Irish whip by Smooth, reversed by Deacon. Deacon charges and sends Smooth out of the ring with a clothesline. Smooth falls to the floor near the aisle. Deacon gets on the apron and waits for Smooth to stand up. Smooth gets to his feet. Deacon leaps at Smooth flattening him with a plancha.
Fortune: This is unbelievable! You have to hand it to both men!
Both men lay out in the aisle as Senior Ref Dark starts to count. The fans are on their feet.
Senior Ref Dark: Six...seven...
Both men have given their all in this match. Smooth and Deacon both use the steel guardrails to pull themselves up slowly.
Fortune: Both men are up! Can you believe this?
Smooth and Deacon get to their feet and fight up the ramp. Each man landing hard punches, neither man wanting to go down despite the fatigue and pain. Going up the ramp and onto the stage, the men slug it out. At the stage, Deacon rakes the eyes of Smooth. Deacon then hooks Smooth's head and takes him down to the cold steel of the stage with a suplex. Deacon gets up slowly and lifts up the battered Smooth. Deacon drags Smooth to the edge of the stage.
Fortune: What is Deacon thinking? No, Deacon! This could end someone's career!
Hunt: Bond’s career is going to be over anyway!
Deacon lifts Smooth to his feet. But Smooth fights back. Smooth with lefts and rights, both men near the edge of the stage. Smooth with a kick to the midsection doubles Deacon over. Smooth sets up Deacon's head between his legs. Smooth then looks to the fans. Smooth grabs tightly around Deacon’s trunks Glory up and…
Fortune: BILLY WITH A JUMPING PILEDRIVER OFF THE STAGE!!! FOR THE LOVE OF LATOI MERSHAY!!!
Smooth piledrives Deacon off the stage and onto the floor below. The two men go through a table and some boxes, but that barely breaks their fall as they hit the concrete floor. The fans are stunned. Senior Ref Dark goes over to the scene of the carnage. He has begins his ten count.
1...2...
Fortune: I have not seen anything like this!
Hunt: Me neither! I have to hand it to Bond!
3…4…
Fortune: This…this has been an incredible match!
5…6…
Both men lay motionless on the cold floor.
7...8
But wait! Deacon slowly gets up to all fours. He manages to get to his knees...
Fortune: Deacon is up to his feet!
9...
Fortune: Ten! Deacon Kane wins this Last Man Standing match as Billy Bond is still laying on the floor! What a match!
Hunt: Deacon Kane is still the Heavyweight Champion! So long, Smooth Operator! I always hated that song!
Fortune: Love him or hate him Alex, you have to give credit to Billy Bond as well! Not only did he take it to the big man, Deacon Kane, but he has been entertaining the GZW fans for the past eight months or so! We are going to miss you around here, Billy Bond!
All the fan favorites that were in Smooth’s dressing room flood down the rampway making a beehive to their fallen and severely hurt friend. EMTs quickly get to the scene as well as Deacon makes his way back to the ring.
Fortune: We need to get official word upon Billy’s health and condition!
Hunt: Anywhere there’s a bone, it’s most likely broken!
Deacon retrieves his Heavyweight title and steps into the ring with a microphone in hand.
Deacon: Look at the carnage I have made of the Smooth Operator. Where is the most technical wrestler in GZW now? With this wicked beating I have given you, let it be known that it was Deacon Kane that broke Billy Bond’s spirit, body, and career. To you fan favorites huddled around your friend, to you other so called wrestlers in backstage, this is The Future of GZW. (Deacon holds up the belt) Whoever seeks this out prepare to meet a far worse fate than Smooth!! Who will be next? Who?
Fortune: Deacon Kane has put the entire GZW roster on notice!
---Commercial Break---
Pike:
The last match of tonight’s show comes from the last Monday Manslaughter of the
year 2001. On Christmas Eve the wrestling world paid witness to what can be
described as the greatest swerve in wrestling history. Holly, not only was this
a great classic main event featuring Maxx Pain and Deacon Kane, but produced
something that shook everyone to the core of their being.
Holly:
Of course, it dealt with the woman who I love and thought the world of when I
growing up. Her actions have totally disgraced our family name.
---Greatest
Classic Main Events (Greatest Swerves)---
---Main Event: GZW
Heavyweight Championship Match: “CareerKiller” Maxx Pain vs. “The Future” Deacon
Kane---
Fortune: It's time for the main event as the massive behemoth, the GZW Heavyweight Champion; Deacon Kane will defend his title against the CareerKiller, Maxx Pain! And as special referee, as appointed by our oh so fair President, John Profit, Tate Troublesome! You've got to believe that Tate will play a major role in this match!
Hunt: What are you talking about? Mr. Profit picked the Director of Wrestling Affairs because he knows that Tate is a man of integrity and honor. Tate is going to call it down the middle!
First introduced to the crowd is the special guest referee. “Troublesome” by Tapuc Shakur rips as Tate Troublesome comes down to the ring with a sleeveless black and white striped ref's shirt. The crowd reaction is mixed. While some fans boo the Director of Wrestling Affairs, some cheer.
Fortune: The crowd not sure on how to react to Tate after his physical altercation with Mr. Profit last week!
“My Way” by Limp Bizkit bumps on the Coliseum speakers as the challenger, Maxx Pain makes his way to the ring. Accompanied by his lovely wife/valet Maxxine, Pain has a determined and focused look on his face.
Hunt: You do remember what happen the first time these two met?
"Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth plays as the 7' 4", 478-pound GZW Heavyweight Champion makes his entrance. With the gold belt on his shoulder, Deacon Kane lumbers his way down the rampway, pointing at Pain. Pain stands in the ring motioning for the Champ to bring it on.
Fortune: Good thing the ring crew reinforced the ring for this epic battle!
Both men are standing in the ring, staring each other down. Tate calls for the bell and the match is underway. The two combatants stand toe to toe, Pain looking directly at the equally huge champion. The two men talk some trash. Suddenly, an infuriated Deacon goes for a huge clothesline, but Pain ducks it. Deacon turns around only to get hammered with a flurry of furious right hands from the CareerKiller.
Fortune: Deacon is not going down!
Pain then nails Deacon in the knee with a lowblow kick, bringing the giant down to his hands and knees. Pain then bounces off the ropes and nails Deacon in the face with a "Taka-esque" dropkick to the face. The fans erupt as Pain lifts Deacon up to his feet and hammers away at him in the corner.
Fortune: Maxx Pain is taking the fight to the Wicked One here in the early going!
Hunt: That's right! It's very early!
Pain goes to whip Deacon across the ring to the opposite corner, but the Champ reverses it, right into a short arm clothesline.
Fortune: Wicked clothesline! Running into that massive arm is like running into a side of beef!
The Heavyweight Champ lifts Pain up and drops several clubbing forearms to the back. Deacon whips Pain to the ropes. Pain bounces off the ropes and gets dropped to the mat with a huge back elbow to the face.

Pain bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline. When Deacon turns around, Pain nails him under the jaw with a mafia kick. Deacon wobbles, but stays up on his feet. Pain charges with a clothesline, but still, Deacon stays up near the ropes. Pain backs up, gathers up a head of steam and charges once more. But Deacon is ready for him. The Champ elevates Pain up in the air with a back body drop, sending him over the top rope. But Pain lands on the apron. Deacon turns around and sees Pain on the apron. The Champion charges at Pain, but Pain drops down and pulls down the top rope. Deacon falls over the top rope and hits the Coliseum floor.
Fortune: What impact as Deacon Kane hits the floor!
Hunt: Did you get the Richter scale number on that one?!?
Deacon gets up to his feet. Pain, who is still on the apron, then leaps off and wipes out Deacon with a diving clothesline. The fans cheer wildly as the CareerKiller gets back up to his feet.
Fortune: The fans are really behind Maxx Pain!
Hunt: Bah! Who needs the fans?
Pain lifts up Deacon and slams his head into the steel guardrail. Pain then takes Deacon and tosses him into the steel steps. A loud deafening sound as Deacon's massive frame collides with the steel steps. Pain than lifts up Deacon and whips him into the steel guardrail. Pain then charges at the Champ, but Deacon picks up a charging Pain, lifts him high in the air with a military press, than just drops him throat first across the steel guardrail.
Hunt: Holy Jazmin Andrea! What a vicious move by Deacon Kane!
Deacon then lifts up Pain in an atomic drop position, runs at the steel ring post, driving Pain's crotch into the post.
Hunt: Ouch! Guess Maxxine won't be getting any sweet Christmas Eve lovin' from Maxx Pain tonight!
Deacon exchanges a few words with some booing fans at ringside before lifting up the challenger and tossing him into the ring. The Champ then climbs back into the ring.
Hunt: Deacon is going to finish him off! This match won't be very long at all!
Fortune: Don't count out Maxx Pain!
Deacon lifts up Pain and whips him to the ropes. Deacon catches his opponent coming off the ropes and drives him down to the mat with a side slam. Deacon then goes for a blatant choke, wrapping his huge hands across the throat. Tate steps in and warns the Champ about such tactics.
Hunt: See? Tate is doing a fair job! He's telling Deacon about the rules!
Fortune: Some good that will do. He still choked the hell out of Maxx!
Deacon lifts Pain up to his feet. The CareerKiller fights back with punches to the midsection, then the head. Irish whip by Pain reversed by Deacon. Pain bounces off the ropes and ducks a Deacon clothesline. Pain bounces off the far ropes, but runs right into the bottom of Deacon's huge big boot.
Hunt: Bam! Kiss the feet of the Champ!
With Pain down after the huge big boot, Deacon looks to the booing crowd and taunts them by pointing at their newest favorite.
Fortune: Deacon Kane should spend less time with the crowd and focus on the match!
Hunt: Don't worry; the match is in the bag!
With Pain down, Deacon bounces off the ropes and drops a huge legdrop across his throat. Deacon with a cocky one-foot cover, but Pain easily gets a shoulder up. Deacon lifts Pain up to his feet and lands some big right hands. Irish whip by Deacon. Pain bounces off the ropes. Deacon with a back body drop, but Pain flips out of it and lands on his feet. Pain then runs and bounces off the ropes for momentum. When Deacon turns around, Pain nails him with a flying forearm smash that staggers the Champ. Pain quickly moves in and takes down the Deacon with a Russian legsweep.
Fortune: Down goes the Champ!
The fans cheer as the massive monster is down. Pain then stands above him, grabs a leg with each hand, then leaps up in the air and comes down with a legdrop to the groin. The Champ lets out a huge roar of pain.
Hunt: You can't treat the Heavyweight Champ like that!
With Deacon down on the mat, Pain quickly hops up onto the second turnbuckle. The CareerKiller leaps off and drives an elbow to the head of Deacon. Pain with a cover.
Fortune: We could have a new champion!
1...
Fortune: Deacon kicks out at one! I must say, I give credit, Tate did count that pin!
Hunt: As if he wouldn't! Tate is a man of honor!
Fortune: Actions speak louder than words, Alex!
Pain lifts Deacon up and beats him down in the corner with rapid forearm shots to the head. Deacon drops to a seated position in the corner. Pain backs up, than charges at Deacon, nailing him with a running knee to the face in the corner, a la Mick Foley. Pain then lifts Deacon to his feet, then snapmares him out of the corner and into a seated position on the mat. Pain with several kicks to the back of Deacon's head, then follows up the combo with an elbow to the back of his head.
Fortune: Maxx Pain is on fire here!
Hunt: Don't give me any ideas!
Fortune: Wait! Look, it’s John Profit! Why is he coming down to ringside?
Hunt: He is the President of the GZW! He can do whatever he wants!
The six foot, two inch President distracts Pain as he stands at ringside with a smug look on his face. Pain stands near the ropes, yelling at Profit. Meanwhile, Deacon gets up to his feet. When Pain turns around, Deacon sends Pain flipping in the air with a charging clothesline.
Hunt: You were right, Kandi! Maxx Pain should have kept his focus on the match!
Fortune: This doesn't look good for Maxx with Mr. Profit out here! He can only be up to no good!
With Pain down, the Champ stomps away on him, laying in those huge boots. Deacon then lifts up Pain to his feet. Deacon with a delayed vertical suplex, holding Pain up in the air for what seems like an eternity. Deacon then lets go with his free hand.
Fortune: Deacon Kane with a one handed delayed vertical suplex! The power!
Deacon then falls back, dropping Pain's back down to the mat. The arrogant champion then lifts Pain up to his knees. Deacon, with his massive hands, rips at the face of the challenger.
Fortune: Deacon is showing his vicious side!
Hunt: That's his best side!
Deacon lifts Pain up to his feet. Pain feeds off the crowd's energy and starts to fight back with right hands that stun Deacon. Pain bounces off the ropes for momentum, but Deacon catches him and plants him down hard with a powerslam.
Fortune: Maxx got slammed hard onto his back!
Deacon then lifts up Pain and drops him across his knee with a backbreaker. Deacon holds on, lifts up Pain again and drops him on his knee with a second backbreaker. Deacon lifts Pain up once more and whips him to the ropes. The Champ catches the challenger coming off the ropes and drops him with a Samoan drop.
Fortune: All of Deacon's weight drops Maxx down to the mat hard onto his back!
Hunt: Maxx Pain must have something in common with your mom, always on their backs!
Deacon with the cover. Tate makes the count, but Pain kicks out. Profit complains to Tate.
Fortune: Mr. Profit wanted Tate to count faster!
Hunt: No! Mr. Profit wouldn't condone unfair behavior in this federation!
Fortune: Sure he wouldn't. And Julia Roberts is actually pretty, right?
Deacon lifts up Pain and shoves him into the corner. Deacon repeatedly drives his shoulder into the midsection of Pain. Deacon whips Pain diagonally across the ring to the opposite corner. Pain hits the turnbuckles hard. Deacon grabs Pain's hand and whips him across the ring to the corner again. And again, Pain's back hits the corner hard. Deacon then moves in and scoops up Pain, but the challenger floats over and lands behind the Champ. Pain with a rear waistlock around the waist of the Champ. Deacon goes for a back elbow to break free, but Pain ducks it. The momentum of the missed back elbow turns Deacon around to face Pain. The CareerKiller then quickly lifts Deacon and drops his "lower extremities" down onto his knee with an inverted atomic drop. The Future is staggered. Pain then lifts up Deacon and drops him onto his lower regions with another inverted atomic drop.
Fortune: The CareerKiller hitting him where it hurts!
Hunt: No! We need to protect his family jewels so that one day he can have some little Deacon Kanes!
With Deacon staggered, Pain bounces off the ropes and takes down the Heavyweight Champ with a Benoit-style clothesline. Deacon gets up to his feet slowly. Pain moves in and quickly drops the massive monster with a double arm DDT.
Fortune: Down goes the Champ! Maxx Pain with the cover!
1...2....
Fortune: No! Deacon kicks out!
Hunt: What are you doing, Tate? You can't count his pins!
A furious John Profit gets on the apron. Maxx Pain gets up to his feet, runs over and knocks the President off the apron with a big right hand. But this gives Deacon time to get up to his feet and nails Pain from behind with a double axhandle.
Fortune: Damn! Profit's presence is factoring into this match!
Hunt: He gave it up for his man Deacon by allowing Maxx Pain to knock him off the apron! You know if this were another time and place, Mr. Profit would be laying the smackdown on Pain's ignorant ass!
Deacon whips Pain to the ropes. Deacon drops his head down for a back body drop, but Pain counters with a sunset flip. But Deacon stays up on his feet. Deacon then drops down, trying to sit down on Pain's chest, but Pain gets out of the way. Deacon's butt comes crashing down on nothing but mat. Deacon slowly gets up to his feet. Meanwhile, Pain quickly goes out to the apron, climbs up to the top rope and nails Deacon with a missile dropkick.
Fortune: Bullseye! Maxx Pain on target with that missile dropkick!
Hunt: Wow! Talk about SCUD missiles!
Pain then lifts up Deacon and slams his face into the top turnbuckle. With Deacon slumped face first on the top turnbuckle, he walks up the bottom rope, middle rope and then goes for a double foot stomp to the back of Deacon's head on the top turnbuckle. But Deacon pulls his head back out of harm's way. Pain ends up getting crotched on the top turnbuckle facing away from the ring.
Fortune: Deacon had that move well scouted!
With Pain sitting crotched up on the top turnbuckle, Deacon climbs up the turnbuckle behind the CareerKiller. Deacon grabs Pain's waist from behind and falls backwards...
Fortune: Release German suplex off the top turnbuckle by Deacon Kane! Holy Jazmin Andrea!
Hunt: Forget about it! This match is over!
Deacon slowly gets up to his feet. Profit gets up on the apron and asks for a high five from his Champion.
Fortune: What is up with Mr. Profit? He's acting like those annoying owners of those sport teams! Tell him to go make the cover!
Hunt: Chill out, Kandi! After that, Maxx Pain is going to be down for a while!
Deacon finally goes to make the cover. Tate counts.
1...2....
Fortune: No! Maxx Pain gets a shoulder up at the last possible moment!
Hunt: What the hell?
Deacon cannot believe it. He looks at Tate and gives him a glare. Deacon lifts up Pain, kicks him in the midsection, than precedes to powerbomb him right into the turnbuckle.
Fortune: What power by the World Champ!
Deacon lifts up Pain and whips him diagonally across the ring to the opposite corner. Deacon charges in and flattens Pain with a splash in the corner. Pain stumbles out of the corner wobbling. Deacon scoops him up, than slams him down hard to the mat with a running powerslam. Deacon with the cover.
1…2...
Fortune: No! Maxx gets a shoulder up again!
Hunt: Okay Tate! Very funny. Count the pinfall already!
Fortune: Tate has stayed true to his word; he is calling this match down the middle!
Deacon is irate. He lifts up Pain and takes out his frustration by landing a cranium crushing headbutt. Pain falls to the mat. Deacon looks to the booing crowd and calls for the end of the match. Deacon lifts up Pain and sets him up for a powerbomb. Pain is lifted high in the air, but somehow Pain slides off and in one quick motion, the CareerKiller rolls up Deacon in a schoolboy pin.
Fortune: Maxx with the pin! Tate with the count! Deacon kicks out! Both men get up to their feet. Deacon Kane with a huge clothesline drops Maxx Pain! Now the Champ is turning his attention to the referee Tate! He's not happy with Tate's officiating in this match!
Hunt: I would be too! Trust me, Tate Troublesome's my boy and all, but his officiating tonight has sucked donkey balls!
Deacon gets in Tate's face, yelling at him for what he perceives to be slow counts. Tate does not back down from the big man and gets back in his face as well. Meanwhile, Maxx Pain gets back up to his feet, gets behind Deacon, hooks his waist, then drops him with a belly to back suplex.
Fortune: Timber! Down goes Deacon!
With Deacon down, Pain stands near his head. Pain drops a quick legdrop across the throat of the Champ. The fans erupt at the move.
Fortune: Maxx is setting him up for the Career Ender!
With Deacon in-between his legs, Maxx prepares to lift Deacon for a high angle powerbomb. But Profit gets up on the apron to distract Pain. Pain drops Deacon to the side and pushes Profit away as if he were shooing a fly away. Deacon gets up to his feet. Pain turns around, but Deacon wraps him, than tosses him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Fortune: Great Stephon Elijah! Deacon Kane tossed him as if he were a small child, not that I condone tossing small children!
Hunt: You should try it, it's fun!
Deacon gets up to his feet. He lifts Pain up and kicks him in the midsection. Irish whip by Deacon. Pain bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline. Pain bounces off the far ropes and goes for a clothesline of his own, but Deacon ducks it and then locks in a full nelson in the center of the ring. With the full nelson locked in, Deacon twists left and right, shaking Pain as if he were a rag doll.
Fortune: Deacon with a full nelson, just shaking the very life out of Maxx Pain!
But not for long as Pain breaks free with a back kick that nails Deacon in the crotch. Deacon releases the full nelson and stands stunned. Pain turns around, grabs Deacon by the hair and drops down with a sitdown facebuster (X-Factor). Pain lifts Deacon up and hammers him with right hands to the head, each one getting a huge reaction from the crowd. Irish whip by Pain reversed by Deacon. Pain bounces off the ropes. Deacon catches Pain and plants him down with a huge ring rattling urinage. Deacon covers Pain.
1...2....
Fortune: No! Maxx Pain does just kick out at the last possible moment! And Deacon Kane is not happy at all! He's really getting in Tate's face now!
Deacon and Tate stand toe to toe. Deacon yells at Tate and starts to threaten the Director of Wrestling Affairs. Tate calmly stands in front of Deacon, not budging an inch. Deacon bumps Tate's chest with his own. Deacon then escalates the situation by shoving Tate backward. Tate then fires back with a flurry of right hands that rock the head of the big man.
Fortune: Ohmigosh! Tate Troublesome is fighting Deacon Kane!
Tate then kicks Deacon in the midsection and hits a Point Blank. The fans erupt in cheers.
Hunt: What are you doing Tate? He's your business partner and the GZW Heavyweight Champion! I can't believe it! Tate just hit Deacon with his Point Blank (stunner)!
Fortune: Even more unbelievable, Deacon Kane is still up on his feet!
Deacon staggers backwards after the Point Blank. Pain gets behind him, grabs his head and slams him face first down to the mat with the "stroke" facebuster. Pain rolls Deacon over for the cover.
Fortune: We could have a new champion! Tate with the count!
1...2...
Fortune: Wait! Sincere and Monarch come out of the crowd and have pulled Tate out of the ring! What the hell? Maxx was just a count away from becoming the Heavyweight Champion! And look at Profit! He's not even paying attention as his business associates are beating down on his Director of Wrestling!
Hunt: Look who's coming out to help Tate, it's his ex-sister in law and your little sister, Holly Fortune!
Fortune: What in the hell is she doing out here?! She’s going to mess up everything!
Hunt: “Mess up everything”! Huh?
Holly, dressed in jeans and a GZW staff shirt, tries to pull Sincere and Monarch off Tate, but Monarch just turns and knocks down the newest commentator with a huge punch to the face. The two BlackHearts continue to beat down Tate at ringside.
Meanwhile, in the ring, Pain climbs up to the top turnbuckle as Deacon is up to his feet. Deacon is bent over at the waist. Pain leaps off the top rope and drives Deacon's head into the mat with a top rope fame-asser. Pain goes for a cover, but the ref, Tate, is getting mauled at ringside. Profit grabs a chair from ringside and slides into the ring. Profit sneaks up behind Pain, but the CareerKiller turns around, stopping Profit dead in his tracks.
Fortune: I can’t believe it has gone this far! You want something done right; you have to do it yourself!
Hunt: What are you talking about, Kandi?
Pain kicks Profit in the gut and takes his steel chair. The fans pop, as Pain is about to nail Profit with a chair shot. Kandi throws off her headset and rushes to the ring.
Hunt: Kandi, where are you going?
Deacon gets up. Pain turns around only to get the chair knocked into his face with a mafia kick from Deacon.
Hunt: Woohoo!
Deacon lifts up Pain and powerbombs him onto the steel chair. Not satisfied, Deacon lifts up Pain once again, lifts him in a fisherman suplex, uses his free hand to hook the other leg of Pain, then Deacon drops to one knee, causing Pain's back to crunch against his massive shoulder, the move known as...
Hunt: Wicked Way! (Muscle buster) That should do it! But there is no ref to count as Tate has been laid out by the BlackHearts at ringside! But what is Kandi doing in the ring?
Kandi rips off her shirt to reveal a referee's shirt.
Hunt: What?! This is unbelievable!
Kandi makes the count.
1…2...
Hunt: Three! Deacon Kane wins the match!
Sincere and Monarch get in the ring to celebrate with Deacon and the boss, John Profit.
Hunt: John Profit and the BlackHearts are victorious tonight! They have defeated Maxx Pain and his attempt to capture the GZW Heavyweight Title. I guess Tate didn't want to play with the rest of the team, so he got punked out! Too bad because John Profit has the winning team! But what is up with Kandi?
Holly helps up her ex-brother in law at ringside, Tate bleeding from the mouth. Tate slides into the ring, wanting a piece of the BlackHearts. The beaten Director of Wrestling Affairs crawls on his stomach, reaching out to grab at the BlackHearts.
Hunt: Tate Troublesome is in no condition to take on three men!
Sincere and Monarch are about to jump on the battered Troublesome, but Kandi tells them to stop.
Kandi: Stop! Tate was once my brother in law! Let me talk to him. (Sincere and Monarch back off as Kandi moves closer to her once brother.) Tate, why didn't you just play along with the rest of Bad Influence, eh? Tate, Mr. Profit allowed you to be a part of the most powerful faction in all of wrestling, the great Bad Influence! All you had to do was count one, two, and three to give Deacon the victory. But no, you had to let your pride get in the way. I should have known that you would not have gotten along with the man who defeated you so long ago from becoming the UJW World Heavyweight Champion.
Deacon stands in front of a crawling and bloody Tate. The big man holds the belt in Tate's face.
Kandi: You see I saw a long time ago that you're jealous of these very men you hide behind and you're jealous of my family! I took the initiative to seize some power in the GZW! You think it was you that brought together the most dominating force in wrestling today! You married into one of the greatest wrestling families in this business! You came in and thought you were the smart one, the athletic one, and the handsome one in MY family. But look at my family now! Look at Kandi Fortune! If anything, I'm the new pride and joy in the Fortune family!
Tate musters up his strength and pulls himself up. He reaches out and grabs Kandi by the collar. Like a pack of hyenas, Sincere, Monarch and Deacon Kane jump on Tate.
Hunt: This is carnage but I guess this is how family arguments are settled in the Fortune family!
Maxx Pain gets up to his feet. He tries to join the melee, but two new Bad Influence members, the StormRiders come down to the ring. Outlaw Wales and Prey beat down the CareerKiller as Maxxine, Holly and the fans can only look on.
Hunt: Bad Influence is destroying everyone that stands in their way!
Suddenly, "Smooth Operator" by Sade hits the Coliseum speakers. The fans erupt in a thunderous ovation.
Hunt: That music! That can only mean...Smooth? But, he's not allowed in this building!
The fans explode as Billy Bond comes out from the crowd with a steel chair in hand. Smooth slides into the ring. A chair shot knocks Prey out of the ring. Outlaw charges at him, but a back body drop sends the second StormRider out of the ring. Sincere charges at Smooth, but Bond jabs the chair into the midsection, then nails him in the back of the head with a chair shot. Monarch looks at Smooth. Smooth throws a chair at Monarch. Monarch catches it. Smooth with a dropkick kicks the chair into Monarch's face. Monarch rolls out of the ring. Smooth then turns his attention to the massive Heavyweight Champion.
Hunt: If you all remember, it was Deacon Kane that ended the Smooth Operator’s wrestling career on the October 29th Monday Manslaughter! But he's back!
Deacon lunges at Smooth with a clothesline. Smooth ducks it. Deacon turns around. Smooth with rapidfire right and left hands to the head of the Heavyweight Champ. Smooth with a clothesline near the ropes sends Deacon over the top rope and out of the ring.
Hunt: The fans are on their feet as Smooth clears the ring! Damn it! No one invited him to the party!
The entire Bad Influence regroups on the rampway.
Hunt: I am utterly speechless at the outcome of this match!
Smooth stands near the ring motioning for Bad Influence to come back to the ring. Maxx Pain also stands on the turnbuckle, motioning for Bad Influence to bring it on. Tate Troublesome gets up slowly to one knee. Smooth turns back and sees Tate. The two bitter rivals trade glances at one another.
Hunt: With John Profit in absolute power, Bad Influence stronger than ever before, Tate Troublesome severing ties from Profit and Billy “Smooth Operator” Bond back in the mix, things are going to get very interesting here in the GZW as we head into Acceptable Risks next week! And what about my broadcast partner, Kandi Fortune?
---Back
on the set---
Pike and Holly are standing in front of the desk
once again looking toward the camera.
Pike: Of course this is only but a small portion
of the some of the best matches that have ever took place in GroundZero
Wrestling 2K1. Expect nothing but major surprises and intense matches in this
New Year. With so many newcomers bolstering the roster, the GZW looks like it
will have another great year to surpass its inaugural year.
Holly: With so much developing all the time on
GZW Television it’s hard to keep up with all the action, but you can best
believe that we will sort it all out for you week after week.
Pike: On behalf of Holly Fortune…
Holly: (waving) Good night!!
Pike: I’m Memphis Pike. Have a good night and
we’ll see you next week on Monday Manslaughter.
