HOUSE SHOW #1 Saturday, October 20, 2000

*Camera cuts around the arena showing a full arena of fans. Then the camera cuts to the announce table were our two commentators Lance Haven and Jack O'Connell are sitting* Jack O'Connell- Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Ground Zero Wrestling. I'm Jack O'Connell and to my right is my pal Lance Haven. Lance how do you feel? Lance Haven- Well Jack I feel kinda anxious, we get to see the beginning of what hopes to be a great federation. This night is a 5 match night were our 10 current GZW superstars will all compete in 1 on 1 competition. And we are taping in an almost fully packed Ground Zero Arena. Jack tell them the card. Jack O'Connell- Well here's our 5 matches for this debut. EturnalWolf vs Jake Smith Renegade vs Madd Dogg "Above Average" Josh Reetz vs Big Earl Sadistic Sam vs Crucyfix Gargoyle vs The Fro And remember, all of these matches have 10 minute time limits. Lance Haven- Thanks Jack now lets get to our first match.                                                                  vs   Jake Smith *Freak on a Leash by Korn hits and Eturnalwolf walks to the ring* GZW Ring Announcer- Men and women let me introduce, the man they call ETURNALWOLF! *Eturnalwolf addresses the crowd* *Cactus Jacks music hits and Jake Smith walks to the ring* GZW Ring Announcer- Next up, from Goldsboro, he's mean, he's lean, he's a revenge machine, JAKE SMITH! Lance Haven- This match looks like it might favor Eturnalwolf because of he's larger size then that of the smaller Jake Smith. Jack O'Connell- Well lets find out... *Bell rings* -Eturnalwolf starts out with a drop toe hold. A few punches go back and forth then Eturnalwolf challenges Jake to a test of strength. The two men lock up and Jake Smith starts to weeken trying to fight Eturnalwolfs strength. Jake eventually gives away and Eturnalwolf capitalizes with a suplex. Wolf dominates with punches for about a half a minute then Jake connects with a headscissor takedown. Jake brings up Eturnalwolf and levels Eturnalwolf with a haymaker. Jake then slaps-on a figure four leg-lock on Eturnalwolf but Eturnalwolf refuses to give up and eventually escapes the hold.  Eturnalwolf then takes control of the match again and uses a double-ring stretch followed up by a sharpshooter, but Jake resilliantly escaped both holds.  But Jake couldn't take advantage of the matchup and Eturnalwolf eventually signalled for his finisher the Beyond the Shadows. But Jake escaped just before EturnalWolf could execute the move. Jake then takes control of the matchup and connects with a few DDT's and hard punches sending Wolf to the ground. Jake tries for a pin and 1...2...KICKOUT! And a few seconds later the ref calls for the bell and the match is stopped. Ring Announcer- The 10 minute time limit has expired and this match is ruled a draw! Jack O'Connell- Well Lance looks like you were wrong, Jake put up a good fight even with the smaller size. Lance Haven- Yep I was wrong, lets move on to our next matchup.                                                                                                                                                Lance Haven- This appears to be a match similar to that of the last match, a bigger guy taking on one of the smaller guys.
