Now that I have had the chance to think...Society today doesn�t realize its potential. We must spread the ideals of Thoreau and the new Pure Communist. The oppressed people of this nation do not know they are being oppressed. That is a dangerous thing. We must make our voice heard! We will no longer be lied to by corrupt officials who will take corporate money, and in return protect that organization�s interests regardless of what they may be. When a group of people live in corrupt society, then they will eventually accept that corruption, and then they will become part of it. However, if one be moral, then they will be inclined to help others to live without the evils their environment sanctions. In a moral society, a person can, and will, care about its continuation, and wish to sustain it. Thus, they will perform tasks that our current society looks upon as jobs for the lower classes, by their own FREE will, for the benefit and sustenance of others. Food would be freely grown and distributed according to the needs of the people, as determined by the community. THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR A CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. People of good morals would govern themselves based on conscience. Order would be maintained by the community, with the foundation ideal being that they love the society of morals so they would not want anything to threaten its being. In such a society, people may work as they please only until they become lazy. Once this occurs, the entire system is in danger. Lazy moral people must give up either morality or laziness, for the 2 cannot exist at one time. Society however, being moral, cannot impose a punishment if it wishes to maintain the title of moral. In such a case as stated above, the lazy person must be made by society, to decide on an appropriate, and productive course of action. If the lazy one has chosen to remain moral, then their idea will be productive or active with work. If not, then they have chosen the path of the loafer. Society must then exploit the person's love for society in such a way that they can decide to do what is needed to keep the community safe from corruption of any sort. However, to prevent laziness, work will be rewarded. The harder the work, the greater the reward. The community as a whole decides on the appropriate gift for the worker. People who work more are rewarded by their society with land, or an add on to their home, or other such desirable things. People would not need to be the same (contrary to the idea of most, that communism destroys individuality). They could practice any faith, say what they want, and have all of the basic rights given to them by the United States Constitution. They would not need to assimilate, just cooperate with, and tolerate others. However, as of now, the media and corporations are turning people into consumers and disregarding morality. What people do not understand yet, is that because of the Constitution of the United States of America, they can make changes and improve this tainted land. It is the time for the righteous to peacefully make their voices heard. Violence will not win anyone over to our side. We must set an example if people are to follow. Let us march on with optimism and love for each other. We are all equals. We are all the same. We will not let a corrupt society establish differences such as the upper, middle, and lower classes. We must think of others before ourselves, not out of guilt of self reflection, but out of pure and honest love for them. We are the future. Let us be remembered for making a positive change. I do not ask you to raise a communist flag. I ask you to change the world by IMPROVING the United States THROUGH DEMOCRACY. LIVE MORALLY FOR THE SAKE OF ALL HUMANITY! (Incorporating religious ideals that say that things out of ones control are immoral, are in fact, themselves, immoral.)
Goals:
-Eliminate the Electoral College: Communication is vastly improved since the time when it was created and needed. The will of the people being followed would never be in question. More direct democracy is a step toward the ideal of Pure Communism (as described in the essay above.) This nation was founded for the people, by the people. It is not even illegal for the electoral candidates to vote against what the popular vote of the state. This nullifies the peoples� vote! So now you can plainly see the reason that this organization needs to be destroyed.
-Drastically Expand Welfare: Americans today are being distracted by the media with foreign affairs, in order to divert attention away from the numerous social ills in the US. At least 40% of all tax money
needs to go into Welfare. There are poor in this country that need help. They are people like you and me. (You might say �yes but I�m not poor.�) But you would be wrong. People are all equal, as Eugene Debbs once said �I am no better than the meanest person alive� If you let your fellow countrymen live poorly, than you are poor to, because you lack love for the stranger. (Do NOT get the idea that I mean we must improve conditions for people in other countries, in the way that only the US can....We need to improve the homeland before we OFFER aid to other nations.)
-Expand Medicare: Let us think about Medicare like this....We will all get old. When we get to that point in our lives, we will want benefits because we have worked all our lives. Medical benefits for the elderly or the sick are a necessary blessing. We need to expand it.
-No Federal Funding of Private Schools: This nation was founded on some of the greatest ideals, perhaps, in history. One of these said ideals, is the separation of church and state.(However, of late the 2 seem to be flirting because of this new wave of Right Wing �morality�.) The Federal government, in accordance with this ideal, must not fund religious schools, and to avoid charges of discrimination, it must not fund any private schools. In Addition, the Federal government must NEVER fund ANY religious organization or faith based initiative (As it has tried to do...)This country now seems to think that the Christian majority are the only people that matter. However, this is incorrect. This country was founded on the ideal of being a haven for all to practice their faith freely. I am an atheist, and I don�t want to hear about how our President of the United States, �talks to God in his sleep�....As an American, THAT IS MY RIGHT.
-Ban the Sale of Semi-Automatic, Automatic, and Very High Calabur Firearms: Ok, we have the right to bear arms....But do we have the right to own a switchblade knife? No...They are not legal.. Do we have the right to own a bazooka....Not to my knowledge....Do we have the right to own an army tank with a turret that still fires...No, no, and no. I agree that Americans have the right to bear arms, however, there is a limit. For instance, the newly legal rifle that shoots through steel from 3 miles away or so, IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY POINTLESS AND DANGEROUS! Even if you had to shoot at a burglar (its an example..), the bullet would go through him and continue for miles....Chances are that it would hit something else. Also, Ebay sells bullets for this gun that explode...You see my limit argument. The right to bear arms was originally created to protect the ability of Americans to overthrow an unjust government, back when the country was a lot less stable. Now that we are stable, owning such weapons is only a hazard to citizens. It delivers a terrible message to our children, and does not promote peace. The �President� however, was funded in his campaign by the NRA, so he is disregarding all common sense, by allowing the sale of these implements of dealing death. War monger organizations like the NRA need to be controlled, not allowed to run rampant.
-Eliminate the Funding of Political Campaigns by Private Interests Groups: These organizations pay money to a politician running for office, in return for assurances that their interests will be watched after. These unspoken, but mutually understood deals constitute a form of bribery that is not punishable by law (Major loophole). Also, politicians will protect special interests in return for votes (and as corrupt as it is, it cannot be changed). For example, our �President� portrays himself as a devout Christian to win the votes of the Evangelicals. While I do not bear any hatred for the religion, I cannot, and I will not pretend to not be bitter towards the faction. They are the extremist Right Wing who are trying so desperately to incorporate religion into government. We cannot let this happen. Anyway, politicians running for election in the primaries must not be allowed to accept these unspoken bribes from special interest groups, and the only possible way to do this, is to get funding from the American people from their party. During the actual election, the only source of funding for the candidates should be the party itself. This will allow politicians to be more honest, and it is a step toward greater democracy.
-Allow Gay Marriage: �We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal.� Sexual preference is not something we can control. The Bible was written many thousands of years ago in an intolerant, ignorant world. Homosexual and lesbian love is every bit as pure as heterosexual love. They are human beings to. Every human being is the same. They deserve the rights of all humans. Denying them the right to get the benefits we get from our marriages, is UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND IMMORAL! Religion and state are separate entities. Incorporating the religious view that homosexuality is immoral, into government, is also UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Civil unions are NOT EQUAL TO MARRIAGE, because, as the Supreme Court ruled in the case of Brown v. Board of Education, separate is inherently unequal, and violate the Constitution.
-Legalize Marijuana: Marijuana has been medically proven to relieve severe pain. While it is terrible for a person, if they are in agony on their death bed...I don�t think that matters. Legalizing it might also reduce the number of �pot� smokers. The fact that is illegal, adds a sense of being bad and �cool� to doing the drug. Once it is legal, this quality will be lost.
-Base Interest Rates on the Average of the Income a Person Earns and the Amount of Money They Have in Total: As of now, the lower a persons� income, the higher their interest rates. In other words, the poor have extremely high interest rates, while the wealthy have extremely low interest rates. First of all, let us look at this problem from a neutral perspective. Those who have just enough money to get by day by day, paying more than they can afford to pay, while those who have enough money to live snugly, pay a substantial amount less in interest rates. The difficult task here is not finding a way to fix the problem, its trying to stay neutral that is the hard part. The government needs to average the income and the amount of money a person has, to determine interest rates. The higher the average, the higher the interest rates. The lower the average, the lower the interest rates.
-Eliminate Selective Service and Ban Future Drafts: Our Thirteenth Amendment right under the Constitution of the United States, protects us from forced servitude. Selective Service and the Draft are a blatant form of it. Therefore, they are illegal and unconstitutional. No matter what, the Constitution must be obeyed because it is the only thing protecting our rights as American citizens.
NEVER SUSPEND OUR RIGHTS AS AMERICAN CITIZENS! (These rights have limits...such as the right to bear arms. Freedom of speech does not allow one to go tell terrorists information...etc. BUT, only the EXTREME use and abuse of these rights can be blocked. Like in the 2 cases mentioned.)
-Social Security Must Be INCREASED NOT PRIVATIZED: Privatization did not work in England. It will not work here. It will lower welfare benefits and cause a loss of life savings by a vast number of seniors. It will weaken social security because it will make it dependent on the economy. (My opinion is that our �President� is proposing a proven failure to kill Social Security. However, I do not wish to impose my conspiracy theory on you.) We need to have a greater percentage of tax money go into social security, but not raise taxes.
-Pay For Improvements in Public Schools and the Training of More Teachers: Our future is our in our the hands of our youth. It makes sense that we would want the best future for this nation. The only way to ensure a great future is to provide the children with the best education possible. We need to stop wasting money on foreign affairs (As SOON AS POSSIBLE), and spend it on new text books, and the training of new teachers. For example, we need to send more tax money on training health teachers to warn the youth against dangerous substances and practices.
-Spend More on the Environment, and Expand National Parks: Our environment is not meant to be exploited. People who want to expand cities and cut down more trees in reserves are hurting every living thing on earth. These people do not quite understand a basic and relatively simple fact....OUR SURVIVAL IS TIED TO THE SURVIVAL OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT! Instead of exploiting the global oil supply, we should find environmentally sound fuels. Oil burning creates CO2 which is not so good for the atmosphere.... So it might be a good idea for our �President� to sign international plans to stop global warming from now on....Global Warming... IS VERY REAL! Alternate theories are unfounded and cannot explain the hole in the ozone layer over Australia the size of Texas...The sun may be getting hotter yes (a fact used in the stead of global warming), but as the ozone is depleted, more ultra violet rays get through to the planet. This is not an issue of being an environmentalist (although I am), it is a matter of common sense. By killing nature, we harm ourselves...And yet we continue to destroy nature�s serene beauty with our oil powered machines. It is much like a child who touches a hot stove multiple times to get more and more cheese burgers off the grill. Now let us say that the number of burgers is limited. This child�s appetite is insatiable, and when the burgers are gone he will starve. Next to him, there are ingredients to make hot dogs. All he has to do is look around him to find these ingredients to make an alternate source of food. I hope this analogy has helped explain my point. We can make find alternate sources of energy but we need to explore them. Let us not waste the remainder of the World�s oil. By the year 2020, the oil supply of the world is predicted to be gone....Do not use it up and then be left without fuel...Obviously...
Listen...This is our country, our home, and our future. These are things that must be done to insure a better world. It does not matter what political party you are in so long as you can realize the importance of these issues. Republicans need to wake up out of their dogmatic conservative frame of mind, and realize that guns are not peace machines...Diplomacy is the only way to truly achieve a world safe for democracy. If we intend to tell other nations how wonderful democracy is, we need to improve it at home first. We must be as close to perfect as possible for the world to accept us. Weapons don�t make a nation powerful. Love and compassion, along with diplomatic skills do. We can not let a conservative revival movement stop progress (like stem cell research and other discoveries that can actually HELP mankind), based on religious values. God and government are to remain separate if we wish to find cures for diseases, or find alternate power sources (Instead of fighting in Iraq for oil, which is disappearing very quickly, we need to spend money on harnessing new ways to fuel machines, like hydro-electric power.) It is our country, our democracy, and our efforts that must shape our future as a nation.
We may seem to be Anti-Republican but this page is intended to make people realize that the United States could use some improving...I am a Pure Communist idealist, but I know that the world is not ready for Pure Communism yet. Thus I throw my support to the Democratic Party. However, I do not want to change anyone�s political affiliation. I want to bring these issues out into the open so that people can see possible solutions. I do not believe that the Republican Party is going to make any effort to reform these issues (but that is just an after thought). I want to thank my teacher Ms. Truland for giving me the idea to create a website about politics. I encourage EVERYONE to read Henry David Thoreau�s essay titled �Civil Disobedience� because it is inspiring and it makes sense. It is difficult to read but the points it makes are so simple, yet they are powerful. He was an amazingly prudent man. I dedicate this site to his memory, the people he tried to enlighten, the ideal of Pure Communism ( Unfortunate to be dormant possibly forever, for as of now it could never be), the common man, and any liberal thinker who has been called un-American (You are every bit as American as anybody else. You may even be considered a patriot..For, you envision reform....thou are noble.)
