Hack returns shots at Devins, but learns from the mistakes of his opponent.

The sky was dark, Hack’s hair darker, but in his eyes hid a light so great that it might pierce the very dark soul of even one President Bush.  A great smile lay on his lips and the skip in his step was not to go unnoticed.  Not long ago, Hack had suffered loss to Jake Devins, but he had no reason be down because in the end it was not Devins the victor, mearly Hack the loser.  Hack’s oily black hair hung in it’s usual clumps and bounced with each step, now and then revealing his ever less gruesome left cheek and his naturally brighter left eye.

He was dressed to impress, a gentle black suit coupled with a crisp silver tie played interstingly on his face and hair which was held lightly in a black derby with matching silver lace ‘round it.  The suit was well form fitting, and Hack’s well toned legs shaped his slacks in a eye pleasing manner, ending in black, buckle dress shoes.

He bounded down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets, now and then glancing towards the camera in a curious, taunting sort of way with a mischeavious smile spreading across his face.  Finally, he stops under a walkway light, opens and shuts his mouth a few times, acting as if he might speak, then thinking better of it he pauses and lifts a finger as if to say “One moment please.”

He reaches into his coat pocket to pull out a pen and pad of paper and scribles a few words, then hands them to the camera so that all might read what he wrote.

“Well, I had prepared some words for the people,

but after listen to Jake Devins’ latest bull plop...

let’s just say I decided to learn from someone else’s mistakes.”

The note pad is handed back to Hack.  He shrugs and smiles a little smile then begins a new page, writing a few notes and handing the pad once again to the camera.

“Damn,

He’s cocky isn’t he!

As the pad is handed back again, he smiles a smile and nods his head then rolls his eyes and sticks out his tounge, teasing.  A few more notes and once again the camera is filled by the pad.

“Wow, I bet this big crossover event’s going to be fun.

Don’t you?”

Hack brushes his hair out of his face with his right hand while he mouthes and counts with his fingers: one, two, three.  Then he shrugs with a smile and jots down a few final notes before handing back the pad.

“I do have something for Devins though...

it even comes with actions!

Quite a deal isn’t it?

Watch this.”

Hack looks side to side, smiles his mischeavious smile, and for the sake of the children we’ll just say that he counted to one... well, two if you count the thumb.  He steps back and the light pops sending the camera back to darkness.
