Implementasi ‘Learning Environment Inventory’ dalam Penelitian Perbaikan Pembelajaran

Abstract

Teaching learning process in the classroom is always influenced by many factors.  One of them which gets less attenttion from school managers and teachers is improvement of classroom climate.  This kind of action research has been broadly done in many developed countries, and shows that the scales of the classroom climate contributes significantly to the goal of better instruction.

Learning Environment Inventory’ is an instrument that can be adopted and used to measure and initiate improvement of the secondary classroom climate.  However, this still needs several steps to implement it in Indonesian schools.

The paper describes the reasons and guides the readers to the use of the instrument.  Finally, it is hoped that the article contributes to trigger the spirit of research innovation in Indonesian schools.
