Going once...going twice...SOLD!  Our house was officially listed Thursday; the first couple came to see it Friday; they offered us the asking price and we accepted it Saturday.  The end.  Well, almost.  We did spend all of Saturday night agonizing over whether that meant we didn't ask enough, and whether we should wait and see if we got any better offers after the open house on Sunday.  But the offer was to turn into a pumpkin at midnight, and both of us being the type of people who, on Let's Make a Deal, chose what we knew was behind Door Number 1 rather than gambling on Door Number 2, signed the contract.  Now we have the whole rest of our lives to wonder, or better yet, get on with.   Next task: finding an apartment for the month of December!
