Entry for January 1, 2007
Happy New Year! Hope you had as much fun as we did (that would be hard!) At least Diana did not totally disgrace herself in the game of Diplomacy; she even managed to negotiate a four-sided attack on Germany. However, it turned out that our friend Arnold, playing the role of Russia, and our new friend Scott, playing France, tied for most successful in taking over the world before we adjourned for dinner. Poor Allen, as Britain, pretty much drowned in the English channel. No military career for him. Anyway, we have now uploaded more photos -- these are from some of the farewell parties we had in December. They came out great -- see for yourself!
