My Plastic Works

And this is the page where you can have a look at some of the drawings I made so far. Some are made directly on computer, but most of them are hand made and scanned afterwards. I used tempera and aquarelle for the paintings, and charcoal pencils for the graphics. Drawing has been my passion since compulsory school, when I had painting classes. Now, even though I don't study it in school anymore, I still like to spend time combining colors and ideas. I know I am not particularly talented, but I hope you like them. Of course, more will come ASAP.

Have fun!!! =^_^=

What can I say about painting, more than it has already been said??? It is hard to pretend saying or bringing something new these days in art. Because I always have the impression that all that I feel and think has already been said and done: love, death, life, knowledge -these are all universally discussed themes which nowadays tend to become more and more  of a clichés! In the end, one may ask himself: "What more is to be said or done in art?" And yet there is, of that I am sure! How?? I don't know - heii, I'm not a Sybille, u know!- but as it has many times been said: When man will cease creating and inventing, he shall cease being a man!

What would the message of my paintings be?? Hmm     ... I don't have a particular or general message. I have too little works to say that they are the representations of a great, single idea. I made them to illustrate some of my poems, when I wanted to make a project for my first poetry book, in 1999. I know it sounds stupid, but I made drawings for those which did not match the given space... If u want to read the poems, u cam see them at My writings section.

Now, to get to the point, since painting is one of my greatest hobbies (and u can see them all at My Hobbies), I have studied some of the most important painters in history and also visited some of their original works in Louvre and Orsay, when I went to France last year . U may be wondering which are my favorite ones... or not. In any case, the following list contains links to my humble shrines of those whom I consider to be greatest plastic art makers ever. And if u are interested in art - as u would better be!!!- maybe u can find useful information.

Have a nice surf! *_*
