Princess of the Moon
Tsukino Usagi is a whiny, bratty, crying airhead to start out with. She is a huge fan of 'Sailor V' and adores shopping and eating (how she can eat so much and stay skinny is beyond me!). She was walking to school one day when she happened upon a little black cat with a bandaid on her head being tortured by some little kids. Usagi rescues the little cat, who promptly runs away.
A few hours later, Usagi finds the cat in her room. The cat introduces herself as Luna, and proceeds to give Usagi a special brooch to transform into Sailor Moon! At first Sailor Moon doesn't take anything seriously. Her first battle is won by the sobs she lets loose, which activate those cute little hair ornaments on her odangos.
Even though she was a bit shaky to start out with, she soon learns how to fight like a real Senshi, worthy of the name Princess Selenity.
