    Kaioh Michiru is the elegant, beautiful (at least in the manga) violin player who is Sailor Neptune. As Michiru, she is gentle, and kind. As Sailor Neptune, she is slightly more vicious. Sailor Neptune first appears in the last episode of Sailor MoonR, in a filler episode, where she is nothing more than a sillouette. Later on, in Sailor MoonS, she appears with her partner Sailor Uranus. Together, they plan to find the three talismen that make up the Holy Grail. Later on, she is killed and one of the talismen is found to be imbedded within her own pure heart. She is revived and is able to walk away from the incident.
    In the later parts of the season, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus seperate themselves from the Senshi team (though one wonders if they were ever part of it to begin with) and they fight Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon once again wards off her now-enemies by using a sort of prayer/psychic energy. The two Outer Senshi realize that she is their true Queen, and leave.
     Sailor Moon SuperS has the beautiful Michiru and the tough Haruka only twice. . . in the movie and in the filler.
     In Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, the Outers (including Pluto) show up again. Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus sell their starseeds to try to attack Sailor Galaxia, but they can't when they realize that she does not have a starseed. They die holding hands.
