After spending 10 years in the United States Army, I revisited a calling I had in my youth. That calling was beauty, hair and makeup!
I attended Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL and received my certificate in Cosmetology. About half way through my education I began to apprentice one of my instructors in her work in a salon. She was an educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems and I followed in her footsteps. When Paul Mitchell launched their color line I was moved to become a Color Educator with John Paul Mitchell Systems, which I did for 2 years.
My experience with them was tremendous and I wouldn't change a thing about that time! I've continued to absorb as much color theory and education as possible over the years and I absolutely love my work!
I specialize in prescription hair cutting, advanced color techniques and special occasion hair dressing/long hairdressing.
