In an alternate world in another dimension, our Huw is still
a TV hero, but this time on an Earth where John Nathan Turner (ex-BBC producer
in this world) was killed in a freak candy-floss accident in Rhyl in 1975. In
1979, Huw Edwards took over the role of the Time Lord in the series which has
been getting world wide ratings for the last twenty years of his tenure as The
Doctor. In fact, so successful has the series been that the BBC have been able
to cancel their licence fee completely, and even offer free televisions to old
ladies who can't afford one.
Run your mouse over Huw to see him as his alter-ego in the long-running internationally
popular and fabulous show 'Doctor Huw'.
Here is the Radio Times entry for this weeks episode:-
TERROR OF THE DALEWINTONS by Perys Ocks
Professor Fatleg (Huw from Eastenders) has discovered a new plastic with seemingly
fabulous properties. However, when the plastic is used for the production of
shop window mannequins, thousands of dalewintons (greasy plastic automatons
with no brain) are unleashed upon Meirioneth. Brigadier Organ-Morgan (Windsor
Davies) calls in the Doctor (Huw Edwards) and Gwenan Edwards (Cerys from Catatonia)
to fight the evil menace.
Featuring Philip Madoc as the man on the stairs
