Jake Gardner...the man, the myth, and the messiah.  Jake was raised in a family of musicians.  His father a guitarist, brother a drummer, and his grandfather a violin maker.  Having these influences as a constant allowed him to build a unique style to stand out from the "rest".  We're still trying to figure out who the "rest" is - but I'm sure we'll know them when we see them. Ever since he could remember he's been chasing the dream to be a professional musician.  Throughout high-school, and beyond he has never stopped.  In 1997 he moved from the blue ridge mountains of North Carolina to the white beaches of southwestern Florida where he hibernated for 3 years and practiced his instrument.  He played there with a band (that will not be mentioned) locally where he was a "resident" of the nationally known 5'O-Clock Club.  After considering the possibilities of moving forward with his career he decided a new "homebase" was needed.  Jake, and 5 others (Kirk, Cat, Stuart, Brent and Anna) agreed on Boston, Mass. The move was made in June of this year.  After a few hardships and disagreements - there were only 3.  Jake, Kirk and Cat were left standing (so to speak).  Jake and Kirk hooked up with Phil and the rest is known as "Halcyon".
