I was reading Arthurian legends one day and for some reason found myself wondering what a modern quest for the Holy Grael might look like. This was the result. Personally I consider it one of my only really good drawings.
Just a random guy looking pensive. A friend asked me if I'd been watching a lot of Fushigi Yuugi when I showed her this; apparently this guy looks something like Tasuki. I didn't plan anything like that though, I hadn't even watched far enough into FY to know what he looked like at the time I drew this. :Þ
Another pic along the modern-day knights thought. (Yes, I know the spear haft is bent, so I can't draw a straight line...)
A drawing done after a conversation with a friend about bishounen in anime we enjoyed. Also a character design for a Kitsune werefox in White Wolf's Werewolf supplement Hengeyokai. (Colored by artist; original b&w lineart available here.)
Another medieval type, something like a ranger-paladin cross. What can I say, both kick a lotta butt.
Okay, an angel's not *exactly* a human, but it's not a furry either. Really an old pic, by my standards anyway, from '99. Inked but with a lot of the pencil lines and shading left in, if you're wondering about the rough quality.
A cloaked and menacing, if not quite evil, young man drawn in (horribly pitiful) imitation of the style of Toriyama Akira. Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but I think I should probably shoot myself for this one...
