Commonly Used Terms

C&C - Comment & Criticism.
Hentai - Pornography or sexual content. The term is originally Japanese, literally "pervert".
Lemon - A work with strong sexual content.
Lime - A work with milder but still notable sexual content.
R&R - Read & Reply.
Shoujo-ai - Mild female/female romantic content. The term is originally Japanese, literally "girls' love".
Shounen-ai - Mild male/male romantic content. The term is originally Japanese, literally "boys' love".
Yaoi - Strong male/male sexual content. The term is originally Japanese, and the explanation is a bit too long for this page (but is easily available).
Yuri - Strong female/female sexual content. The term is originally Japanese.
