To introduce us, we are a relief organisation officially recognised and registered in the Federal Republic of Germany known: "Ogaden Relief Association" - O.R.A. Our organisation is a nonprofit and nonpolitical welfare organisation whose target is to help and organise international humanitarian aid for the suffering population of Ogadenia. The human suffering in Ogadenia with its terrific and tragic harms is the worst and most dangerous in the region. Moreover, human tragedy of this forgotten nation is a unique catastrophy of its kind. According to latest reports, people are daily dying in dozens as a result of hunger, disease, natural and human catastrophies - such as the Ethiopian armed aggression against the helpless population of Ogadenia. Caught in "nowhere land", Ogaden Somalis pay price: Gode the Capital of Ogadenia, Nov 25, Reuter - Flies are everywhere. They cover the faces of dying children, swarm over the feeble bodies of emaciated livestock and buzz around the entrances to flimsy stick and cloth huts that serve as home...." There is a mentality in the camps this year of * We have come to Gode to die*.... The racking coughs of sick pierce the still air. Skeletal figures, now a common sight all over the Horn of Africa, move ghost-like around the camps...But to the government in Addis Ababa and to the United Nations that has mounted a huge relief effort to deal with the Somali famine, the border is a real frontier. This means that although the people are suffering largely from the same crisis as next door, their relief effort is administered from the Ethiopian capital --much further away than base caops in Kenya for the operation in Somalia....

What Mr. J. Clayton wrote at that time, was the reality and that was for 3.years. can you imagine now, how worse is it !!!? very terrible and that is why we must help the Ogaden people. We appeal you and the rest of the world to help the Ogadens in many ways, for Example moral, material and so on.
