Treaks and Foons

The joke's on you as you cross a weird, maddening landscape populated by disturbing cartoonish freaks whose idea of fun is scaring you silly.

The Tweeks and Foons in this section of the park were probably the best costumed characters in the park. These fat monsters had glowing (under blacklight) costumes, usually with more than one face and on shoes with big springs in them so they could jump high, but really weren't that scary (probably because of their size). Normally, in this section of the park, the streets are covered with foam, but because of weather, these weren't set up. Later in the night, laser machines were turned on over the streets which added to the mood.

Haunted Houses

Scary Tales II- Step into the pages of the grimmest fairy tales ever told, where nobody lives happily ever after. In fact, nobody lives.

After the success of 2001's Scary Tales, the only thing to do was to make a Scary Tales II. Weaving in and out of the Popeye ride, this haunted house sort of showed the "dark side" of fairy tales. I think it was about the same as last year's haunted house, only in a different location. This Haunted House was closed until about 8:00 because of bad weather. They didn't use Floop's Song either that they used for last years Scary Tales (download it on the media page). Overall, the haunted House wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either.

Entertainment

Party on as those two time traveling dudes are back in a most excellent new adventure featuring your favorite TV and movie characters.

Another Bill and Ted show. I'm personally suprized that this show has survived for over a decade of Halloween Horror Nights. This year, since Halloween Horror Nights was moved to a new park, instead of being in the Wild West Show stage, it took place in the Toon Lagoon Stage, and a new set was built for it based after Men in Black (a lot more could have been done with it). It included characters such as The Osbournes, Austin Powers Characters, Scooby Doo characters, Spiderman characters, Power Puff Girls, Men in Black characters, Martha Stewart/Darth Vader, Pink, Emenem, Elvis, and of course, Bill and Ted. It seemed like last years show had a MUCH bigger cast than this year, but I could be wrong about that. I liked last years show better, but it seems like every year, the show is just as stupid as the year before.

Attractions open

Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls
Popeye & Bluto's Bildge Rat Barges (on peak nights only)

Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls was open and running normally with no changes. Since I went on a non-peak night, Popeye was closed. It was cool to see this ride with the rapids turned off with very low water in it. (pictures on picture page)

Scary, and cool looking toon lagoon!
