Blaine Buried Alive

On Monday 5th April, 1999 David Blaine performed one of the most dangerous stunt that no magician has ever done before. At 10:00 at Trump park, 68th Street at West End Avenue, David blaine was put 6 foot underground in a glass coffin, and instead of dirt on him, there was a plexglas tank filled with 4000 pounds of water. The whole point of this was so the members of the public could see him. David was fed with tablespoons of water everyday to keep him alive, and had a blanket to keep him warm.

Here is a day by day report of what happened whiles David was buried.

Day 1 - The Burial

David is nervous before hand, and is then placed into the coffin. The audience watches as David is lowered 6 feet into the ground. The water is lowered on top and the 7 weeks begins!!!

Day 2

After been watched 24/7 for one day by reporters and members of the public, David turns onto his side.

Day 3

Unlike the first two days, David was awake alot. He was the talk of New York.

Day 4

As the sun comes up for the forth day, David starts to look a little weary. He licks his lips alot, and touches the side of the coffin.

Day 5

The crowds notice that David is losing a little weight, so they applaues him to keep his esteem up.

Day 6

As the last day approaches, David is weak and the crowds continue to build at his watery grave.

Day 7 - The Removal

David is brought up to the suface and takes a deep breath of fresh air, before been took into an ambulance.
