Each day we say a special prayer
Thanking God for love we share
Little one that's next to me
Follows me so lovingly

Looks to me for all we need
Watches me and then proceeds
Hands I fold in special grace
Little one will now embrace

Words I offer up above
Bless us with Your Tender Love
Repeating now what is heard
Little one in life observed

Watching with her special glance
Little one now takes a stance
Tenderness that I extol
Captured in this little soul

All the best that I can be
I want to show this naturally
This I pray for every day
Gentle heart will one day say

Remembrances of all you taught
Within my heart a treasure brought
Everything in life we show
Reflections of the love we know.
