Broken Halo was formed in April 2000, when all members met at Southbank TAFE Contemporary Music Centre, took on the challenge to perform at O-Zone Week. After writing a new batch of originals, they took the Brisbane Music scene by storm, with such numbers as 'Mind Games' 'Be This Way' and 'Dreamworld'. The music was so fresh that on only their fifth outing, they came third in a state/nationwide band competition. They followed this success gigging around Brisbane culminating in their explosive performance at Emerge 2000. With the new year coming on, Broken Halo are excited as to what it may bring them. The band can only get better!
