[Hellstorm | The Transformers ]

Hellstorm

In 1993, Marvel comics relaunched Hellstorm, a once almost farcical character who happened to be Satan's kid. With this relaunch, they tried to make Hellstorm a serious horror title. They did not fully succeed until Warren Ellis took over the writing chores. Joined by artist Leonardo Manco, Hellstorm finally became a very dark, horrific title about the Prince of Lies. Unfortunately, poor sales caneled the comic less than two years after it's debut. But if your the type that likes extremely dark horror with an even darker sense of humor, track down issues 12-21 for some of the best written horror comics ever published by a mainstream company.

You can also visit The HellStorm Homepage, a very good introduction to the series, with an overview of Damion Hellstorm's carrer and artwork from the series.

The Transformers

They came to our planet four million years ago from their home planet of Cybertron. Two races, Autobot and Deception, locked in an eternal civil war. Given the ability to transform, once awaking on earth they adapt their forms to mechanical objects found everyday on our planet; cars, planes, cassette players. Their war continues to this day, with our world caught in the middle. . . .

Sort of. It's been nearly ten years since the Tranformers had any significant impact in America, but to all of us who grew up collecting the toys and reading the comic (hence why this link is in this Gallery), we will remember and enjoy them always.

The Ultimate Tranformers Page This has everything a Tranformers fan could want. Dozens of links to other TF pages, links to TF MUDs and MUSHs, fan fiction, information on Beast Wars, and dozens of sites dedicated to Tranformer humor)

To paraphrase Roger Waters: "What shall you do now?"
