Rhain has the typical Dunlending colouring – brown hair, brown eyes and olive-toned skin – and is considered by many to be ruggedly handsome. He is 6 feet in height, tall for a Dunlending (this is due to the Rohirric blood in his family), and of medium build. He is a good public speaker and a strong fighter and has become a charismatic leader of his people.

Background:
Rhain, only son of the Pennaeth gan Blaidd, grew up on the borders of Dunland, by the Isen. When Rhain was 20, his father was executed for his part in a plot against the King of Rohan, the family lands seized and the remainder of the family outlawed. Rhain himself sought refuge in Gondor, where he served as a mercenary for ten years. He then returned to Dunland and became involved in the Dunlending resistance, eventually leading an uprising against the Rohirrim.
