Who's Who in Nauvoo & LDS Church Hisotry
Many of our ancestors played an Important Role in the Early days of the Church, and lived among the early saints.  This page will summarize their accomplishments, and show who lived in Prominent church locations among the Prophets. I will also note who were first Generation Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.    For more detail visit the Family tree to read their complete histories
Isaiah Hamblin:
1st Generation
Lived in  Nauvoo, Winter Quarters.
Baptized in Mississippi River & helped build The Nauvoo Temple and Endowed there in
Patriarch and Elder
ALSO: Sheriff and Veteran of War of 1812.
Daphney Haynes: 1st Generation, Baptized in Mississippi River, & sewed Curtains for Nauvoo temple, and Endowed there in. Died and Burried Along the Mormon Trail
Edwin Hamblin: Baptized In Nauvoo, Temple worker in St. George Temple, Missionary and Peacemaker to Indians.  The Improvment Era at the time of his death said this"In my opinion there is no more honored grave in all the West
than that of Jacob Hamblin, at Alpine, Arizona, and that of Edwin  Hamblin in St. George, deserves to be classed with it."

Hannah Mariah Cook:  Pioneer all the way from Liverpool England to Salt Lake Valley
James Edwin Hamblin: Bishop Montwell, UT ward.
James Naylor Jones: Lived in Nauvoo, Settled Lima-25 Miles South of Nauvoo, Possibly worked on the Nauvoo temple and Associated with Joseph Smith.  Mobs burned his home, and drove off his cow.  2nd counsilor in Stake Presidency in Provo Utah, Bishop and leader(mayor) of Fairview, UT.
Joel Haskins:  Member of "Zion's Camp" and lived in Kirtland, OH.
Mary Haskins: Lived in Carthedge, IL.
Joshua Jones: Constable of Cannonville, and road supervison
Ira Bartlett Elmer: Pioneer, Bishop of Cannonville ward (great-great-grandson Alden Hamblin also was bishop of this ward), Settled Colonia Juarez Mexico. High counsilman in St. Joseph's stake, and ordained Patriarch by Heber J. Grant. Possibly worked on the St. George Temple. Called to help settle St. George.
Evaline Elizabeth Wright:  Pioneer from Illinois to Utah. Helped settle St. George.  Midwife.
Mathew Galland Casto:  Baptized by Joseph Smith Jr., Lived in Nauvoo.  Nephew of Isaac Galland who sold land to saints in Nauvoo.  Married Joseph Smiths first cousin.  While sick in bed, his home was burned by Mobs, he was rescued by Orson Hyde.  He remained sick and stayed in Winter quarters for 5 years.
Elizabeth Daniels:  Re-baptized by Wilford Woodruf, Pioneer along with her crippled husband.
Scribe and Public Speaker for Eliza R. Snow, and had the gift of tounges acting as an interpeter on at-least 5 occasions, Miraculously prayed for food, and had it appear in her kitchen. First teacher in Salina, Relief Society President in Manti, and Temple Worker in the Manti Temple.
David Emmanuel Brown: Pioneer from Tennesee to Utah, build the cederview church, Helped build the spiral Staircase in the Manti Temple, and Possibly helped construct the Uintah Tabernacle, which is now the Vernal Temple. 
Mary Anne Miranda Hyatt:  Joined church even being disowned by her family.  Also Pioneer.
