HalfLife - You play Freeman a member of a scientific team who is employed to run tests on a new discovered technology.  When the test are being undertaken, the results are not what were expected and you have opened up a portal to a new universe.   With crowbar and other arsenal you must defend Earth from the attack of alien creatures and also save your own skin.  Set in realistic environments and in full 3D, this game is one cinematic experience.  A definite buy especially with the new add on pack - Opposition forces.

Unreal Tournament - Playing on the Internet and getting your arse kicked?  Then why not purchase this excellent tutorial package whcih will allow you to pit your wits against some of the most advanced AI bots ever.  Fight on top of a spaceship in some of the most awesome graphics ever to grace the PC, realistic lighting effects add to the atmposhere and this is one hell of a game to train you to become the supreme champion.   This is better graphically and more playable than Quake 3, giving you more options and tricks.

Thief - The Dark Project - Fancy sneaking around in the shadows, clubbing guards on the head?   If you answered yes then Thief is the one for all you Secret Agents.  Set in the Medieval times, you must make a living by stealing valuable jewels from your enemies.   This game shone inside its category of first person, and is a great change to just shooting your way through the enemy.  To survive in this game you must use the darkness and stay as quiet as you can, unless you want to be heard or seen.

Aliens Vs Predator - Aliens is one hell of a film and so is Predator, so when they revealed they were combining the two I knew this was going to be one stonker of a game.  You have the choice of playing as a marine, Predator or Alien.  Each game is unique in its own way.  Blast to shreds the oncoming aliens as you reveal them on your Scanner, using your Pulse rifle to spray their Acidic blood onto all walls as the marine.   Play it cool as the tooled up Predator slicing peoples heads off with your disc or simply sneak up on them using your invisibilty Cloak, or use the speed and stealth of the Alien using the Shadows as your weapon.  This game is a 3D extravaganza and is worthy of sitting on your games shelf.

Championship Manager 3 - Taking control of your favourite football team isn't as simple as Alex Ferguson makes it look.  This game is stacked full of statistics ranging from their past clubs to hairstyles (Joke).   This game may be boring to many but to the wannabe Kevin Keegan who wants to see Ronaldo play for Middlesbrough (My Team) then this game doesn't fail.
