Trial
of Sadam Hussain
Question:-
As a Muslim, rather than a Shiah or Sunni,
how do you see the trial of the former Iraqi Dictator, Sadam Hussain? Can we
expect justice? Does it reflect on Muslims or Islam?
Comment:-
Though one can
seldom trust the Press to tell the truth because it is usually biased in favour
of the interest of those who control it, there is independent evidence that
Sadam Hussain was indeed a tyrant who headed a regime that killed, tortured,
maimed, oppressed, and deceived many people and did much destruction. The news
media are very selective of what they report and tend to exaggerate, distort
and suppress. Governments too manipulate people and information, invent stories
and even create events, including atrocities to discredit their opponents and
other events to create false virtuous and appealing images for those they
support, and do all kinds of mischief and mass deception under the protection
of Official Secrets Legislation. In short a web of illusion is deliberately
created with support of general wishful thinking to which the creators also
fall victim.
But Sadam Hussain does not appear to be any
worse than President Bush of the USA and his regime that also
killed, tortured, maimed, bullied and deceived many people, caused much
destruction and mischief. And they still continue to kill Iraqis with exactly
the same excuse that Sadam Hussain had, namely the rebellion, uprising and
"terrorism" of those who opposed his regime. But they have much less
justification as they are foreign invaders who are justly opposed.
No Justice can be expected from the trial of
Sadam Hussain. Most Shiahs who were oppressed want him executed. Most Sunnis
think of him as the legitimate President of Iraq who kept order, peace and
prosperity, preventing the very chaos that the invasion has caused. It is the
Americans who want the trial as a propaganda show, having predetermined the
outcome, his guilt and execution. It is they who have set up the Puppet
Government in Iraq
to serve their interests, created the courts in the midst of a hostile people
that has killed defence lawyers, and it is they who have trained the lawyers
and judges. The trial is theatre, a study in cynical hypocrisy and is likely to
be counter productive. The US government and its supporters are most certainly
a global terrorist organisation and are seen as such and controlled by persons
who also control the large Corporations and tend to be criminally minded
psychopaths - i.e. persons willing to sacrifice any number of others for their
own gain - (but it is not politically correct to say so).
I do not think Sadam was a Muslim, but an
atheist who believed in nothing or, according to reports, a worshipper or
follower of people like Hitler and Stalin. However, considering the divided and
degenerate state of Muslims, it could be predicted that the conflict between
sects makes a strong ruthless ruler necessary. It is this degenerate state that
also allowed them to be ruled and oppressed by tyrants, atheists, foreign
powers or collaborators with them, and to be invded, exploited and destroyed as
a punishment.
There being conflicting factions, then the
removal of one set of rulers would only bring in another set of rulers who
would also be opposed and revolted against and who would have to do exactly the
same thing. This is now being done by the foreign invaders with the
collaboration of what can be regarded, and are regarded, as traitors.
At present no solution to the problem can be
discerned. Most certainly as long as the invaders are present they are a
provocation and will continue to be opposed. They may leave from weariness and
mounting expense. But their departure leaves the chaos. At least then the
Iraqis will then have to tackle the problem themselves and they may get weary
and welcome help from other Muslims. The break up of Iraq into three separate nations is
likely. Indeed, Islam is in favour of Federation between self-determining
communities and this should be the preferred political organisation throughout
the Muslim World.
In the meantime:-
(1) The USA continues to loot Iraq and to enrich the shareholders
in American Industries and Businesses and Political Officials.
(2) The conditions
of Iraq continue to
deteriorate into increasing anarchy, chaos, violence and destruction, much worse
than they were under the rule of Sadam Hussain despite the massive presence of
the US
military force. This is because Bush and Blair and their supporters, those who
were elected to run the US
and the British Governments, were rather stupid, arrogant and self-righteous
persons who stubbornly refused to take the advice of those with greater
knowledge and intelligence.
(3) The aim of the
US Government to impose their secular values and ideals on the Iraqis is a
total failure though they expected it to be enthusiastically welcomed by the
people. It did not occur to them that the USA
is regarded widely as being mostly a depraved society and culture so that the
regime that was likely to arise in Iraq would be quite different from
what they hoped and expected.
(4) But the
self-deluded leadership of the USA
and Britain continue to spin
fantasies about their good intentions and successes in Afghanistan and Iraq and deceive their peoples.
There are, of course, some rare factual reports about the real state of affairs
by investigators dedicated to truth, but these are usually hidden in obscure
places. This is because the public in general is apathetic and much more
interested in sport, entertainment, material goods and gossip than in anything
serious and important. This is also why those with psychopathic and criminal
tendencies rise unobtrusively to positions of power and run national affairs
with immunity.
Question:-
Apart from invading
Iraq, the US has bombed many other countries, including a
village in Pakistan
(13 Jan 2006) killing 16 men, women and children, injuring many more and
destroying homes and businesses on the excuse that they were targeting a
terrorist. What is your reaction to that.
Answer:-
The US has
done this kind of thing in many countries. It has been pointed out several
times that the US Government runs a global terrorist organisation headed by
psychopathic criminals - i.e. persons who do not mind killing innocent people
indiscriminately. No doubt they also feel immune from retaliation because Pakistan has an American Puppet Government, a
dictatorship held up by a military funded by the USA. But it is evident that those
who befriend the USA are not
immune from US
treachery.
There no difference
between the USA bombing
these other countries and those who bombed places in the USA? Surely those who retaliate
against this atrocity in a similar manner can hardly be blamed with
justification by the US
or anyone else when they do the same. But note that Western Politicians,
Newspapers, Television and Radio Stations hardly mention these bombings, acts
of aggression and other atrocities when committed by the USA against others, but a
tremendous fuss is made by them when others do anything similar to them. There
is no condemnation of Israeli terrorism against the Palestinians, but there is
against retaliatory actions by Palestinian organisations such as Hamas. The
desire to impose Democracy on others (an obvious contradiction in terms) by the
USA
is regarded as a laudable aim. But when Democracy brings to power a regime they
disapprove of, then steps are taken to support armed opposition, insurrection
and civil chaos. Governments or organisations that try to deal with this
situation are called “terrorists” to justify political, economic,
covert intrigue and subversion and criminal and military actions against them. Their
point of view must not be heard and no diplomatic negotiations must be
undertaken with them. It is insisted that negotiations will only take place
when the opposition renounces violence and disarms while they, of course,
retain a massive armed force and continue their violence and provocation.
It is perfectly
clear that all countries have to arm themselves adequately for defence against US aggression?
The reason given for invading Iraq
that they had weapons of mass destruction is certainly a hypocritical one when
the US
has a much greater arsenal of these than anyone else and continues to be the
greatest threat to the world. Politics is most certainly a dirty business and
Politicians with some exceptions are the most despicable of people. It is
unlikely that World conditions will improve until Politics is taken out of the
hands of politicians and “politicking” is recognised as the most
heinous of crimes and those who indulge in it are prosecuted as criminals.
Unfortunately general apathy and narrow interests in relative trivialities and
amusement prevents this.
