Offroading in Vermont
So I managed to take a bit of time out today from my busy schedule of trip preparations to explore VT a bit with Andrew. After wandering about outlet hell in Manchester and watching a moving Bose speaker demonstration, we headed back down to Jamaica to see Hamilton Falls. The Falls were a popular destination in my high school years and having been there a number of times then, I thought there would be no problem finding them again. In fact, my memory wasn't serving me too well this afternoon.
We spent the better part of four hours driving around the back roads of Jamaica and Windham but to no avail. We did have an adventurous drive down a rugged "road" and we saw some pretty amazing vistas of the Vermont hills at sunset. Click on the thumbnails below to see some pictures.
