5.September.2001 -- Hong Kong Mall Rat I have to write fast 'cause the last time I'd tried to do this I got booted. Rained all day here in HK so spent time doing laundry and wandering about the insanely imense Harbour City shopping mall. Located at various strategic locations are these handy internet kiosks allowing free web access and web cams so I can document and show to the world my ongoing jetlag and rain weariness:
Needless to say, I have some strong words for whomever is in charge of the weather around here. There was an article in the paper the other day about a speach Tung Chi-Wah (I know I spelt that wrong...) gave saying that they were going to try to encourage more tourism here. Well, a good first start would be a talk with their bureaucrats in the precipitation department. Anyway, I'm really not bitter... Anyway, the mall has been fun, and I think I'm going to take this chance to go to be early and try to shake the fatigue.
