Red Bartsia (Odontites verna)
Low/short, semi-parasitic, often purplish, downy, well-branched. Leaves long and pointed, toothed, unstalked, in opposite pairs. Flowers pink, two-lipped, open-mouthed, lower lip 3-lobed, in leafy, one-sided flowerheads; June-September.

Less common plant which flowers late in the season. Can be found in near meadow, on bank by roadway.
