Broad Buckler Fern (Dryopteris dilatata)
Common fern, the crown tending to spread out. Stalks with dark, hair-like scales. Leaves dark green, up to 150 cm long, widest at the base. Spores ripe July-August.
Occasional in shady, wooded areas.
