Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus)
Evergreen bush. Leaves are actually flattened branches - oval, with a sharp spine at the tip. Flowers tiny, white, solitary, on surface of 'leaves'; October-June. Fruit a red berry.

Can be found in woods just beyond car park
