Common Catsear (Hypochaeris radicata)
Short/medium, little branched. Leaves usually roughly hairy, wavy-edged, the end lobe blunt (the leaf-tip just like a cat's ear). Flowers yellow, solitary on leafless stems with scattered scales; June-September.

Can be found here and there in middle meadow. (The inexperienced botanist often thinks it's a dandelion.)
