Creeping Buttercup (Ranunculus repens)
Short/medium, slightly hairy, creeping. Leaves rather triangular in outline, the end lobe stalked. Flower-stalks furrowed, flowers glossy golden-yellow; May-Sept.

Common and familiar, especially in shorter grass. Make sure you know the differences between this and Meadow Buttercup!
