Tuberous Comfrey (Symphytum tuberosum)
Tall, stout, well branched, softly hairy. Leaves long, spear-shaped, running down on to winged stems, root leaves the largest (up to 25cm). Flowers yellow-white, bell-like, in forked, often curled, clusters; May-June. Fruit black, shiny.

Several patches in far meadow.
