Cow Parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris)
Medium/tall, slightly hairy, stems often purple. Leaves made up of sub-divided leaflets (similar in appearance to a fern). Flowers white, in an umbrella-shaped cluster; April-June. Fruit rounded oblong, beaked, black, smooth.

Fairly common along the southern margin of meadows and in woods. Some other plants have similar flowers, so check the leaves.
