Great Willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum)
Tall, softly hairy. Leaves mostly in opposite pairs, the upper ones half-clasping the stem. Flowers 15-25mm, purplish-pink, petals equal. After flowers, downy seeds are scattered on the wind in huge numbers.

Quite easy to find in meadow: leafier in appearance than Rosebay Willowherb.
