Hedge Woundwort (Stachys sylvatica)
Medium, creeping, roughly hairy, stem square, strong-smelling. Leaves heart-shaped, toothed, stalked. Flowers two-lipped, open-mouthed, dark beetroot-purple with whitish blotches in tall, leafless flowerheads; June-October.

One patch - far end of middle meadow, near path.
