Short and slender, almost hairless. Leaflets 4-10 pairs, tendrils sometimes unbranched. Flowers 1-8 in cluster, pale lilac, 4-5mm; May-August. Pods downy. A fairly uncommon vetch, and hard to find because it's small. Look for it among the grass at the start of the middle meadow. Spotters' score: 9 ref: p.130/6 |
