Ivy (Hedera helix)
Evergreen woody climber, carpeting the ground or ascending by means of tiny shoots. Leaves glossy, often bronzy, 3-5-lobed (ivy-shaped) on non-flowering shoots, pointed oval on flowering shoots. Flowers in an umbrella-shaped cluster, green with yellow anthers; September-November. Berries black.

A well-known plant: found at railings (far end of playground) and climbing tree-trunks in the woodland strip.
