Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica)
Tall, vigorous and often forming dense thickets; stems somewhat zigzag. Leaves broad triangular. Flowers whitish, in branched clusters; August-October.

If left untamed, this plant can take over large areas and is notoriously difficult to remove. One large patch in far meadow and more in woods behind wall.
